PRESS LELEASE ON 12/07/2014

PUBLIC NOTICE

1.             "A public hearing on the problems and grievances of scheduled castes of the states of Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh and Union Territory of Chandigarh shall be held at Chandigarh on 29th October, 2014. Those belonging to scheduled castes who have a complaint of atrocity committed by a public servant or of negligence by a public servant in prevention of atrocity, may send their complaints to the Commission by Registered Post or by Speed Post at the following address:-

            The complaints should reach the Commission latest by 31st July,2014.

            Such complaints as are deemed fit for enquiry shall be taken up at the public hearings. The parties shall be informed in due course about the date and venue of public hearings".

 

CASE OF NDPS ACT


 2.Case FIR No. 80/14 dated 12/07/14 U/S 20 of NDPS Act and U/S 207, 181 of M.V. Act has been registered in P.S. Aut by HC Narpat Ram No. 886 I.O. of P.P. Balichowki Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 11/07/14 he laid a nakka along with police officials at Nauna Jungle, in the mean time a three wheeler (HP14BT-7365) came from Nauna side towards Panjai and when said three wheeler stopped for checking and during the course of checking driver of said three wheeler could not produced any legal documents of said vehicle and also recovered 305 Gram cannabis (charas) from the possession of driver of said vehicle Dharam Chand S/O Sh. Duni Chand R/O Vill. Takoli PO Nagwain Sub Tehsil Aut Distt. Mandi (HP). HC Narpat Ram I.O. of P.P. Balichowki is investigating the case.

 

CASE OF MISCHIEF BY FIRE

3. Case FIR No. 91/14 dated 12/07/14 U/S 435 IPC has been registered in P.S. Gohar on the complaint of Sh. Hukam Chand S/O Sh. Raghubir Singh R/O Vill. Bani PO Chailchowk Tehsil Chachiot Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 12/07/14 at about 7 AM he was he was going to his home and when he reached near the house of Sh. Halka Ram he saw that a M/Cycle parked in the courtyard of Sh. Halka Ram put on fire by some unknown culprits. HC Prabhakar Ram No. 872 I.O. of P.S. Gohar is investigating the case.

CASE OF H.P. EXCISE ACT

4. Case FIR No. 90/14 dated 12/07/14 U/S 39 of H.P. Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Gohar by ASI Jeet Singh that he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Gurnal and during the course of patrolling he recovered 5000 ML illicit liquor from the possession of Bali Ram S/O Sh. Jahru Ram R/O Vill. Gurnal PO Janjehali Tehsil Thunag Distt.Mandi (HP). ASI Jeet Singh I.O. of P.P. Janjehali is investigating the case.

CASE OF PREVENTION OF CRUELTY TO ANIMALS ACT

5. Case FIR No. 239/14 dated 11/07/2014 U/S 11 of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat on the complaint of Smt. Kala Devi W/O Sh. Bhagi Rath VPO Hari Behna Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi that Mohinder Singh S/O Sh. Sher Singh R/O Vill. Bhuhani PO Darpa Tehsil Sarkagaht Distt. Mandi (HP) was beating a cow very brutally and there was lot of bleeding from the mouth of said cow.  ASI Rakesh Kumar investigating the case.

CASE OF PREVENTION OF DAMAGE TO PUBLIC PROPERTY ACT

6. Case FIR No. 240/14 dated 12/07/14 U/S 3 Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act on the complaint of XEN  PWD Sarkaghat in which he reported that Ashwani Kumar S/O Late Sh. Amar Singh and Smt. Kushma Devi W/O Sh. Ashwani Kumar R/O VPO Rakhoh Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi (HP) created hindrance for construction of road by removing the soling laid down by the contractor from RD 3/050 at Rakhoh. SI Parshotam Dhiman I.O. of P.S. Sarkaghat is investigating the case.

    CHALLAN

7. 214 challans were issued and fine of Rs. 34,600/- was recovered and 9   challans were issued under  COPTA  and fine of  Rs.  900/-  was recovered.
