CASE OF NDPS ACT
1. Case FIR No.106/12 dated 06/05/12 U/S 20-61-85 NDPS Act has been
registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi by ASI Ram Lal I/C PP Pandoh that today
he laid a nakka along with other police officials at Sukkibain and at
about 12.15 PM a person came from Pandoh side towards Mandi on foot
who was carrying a cream color bag in his right hand. On seeing police
party he tried to sped away from the spot and on suspicion he was
caught with the help of police party and during the course of checking
of said bag he recovered 250 gram cannabis from his possession and he
also revealed his name and address as Roop Chand S/o Shri Nanku R/o
Vill Graman PO Sil Bhadan Tehsil Padhar Distt Mandi. Said accused
person has been arrested and further investigation of the case is
being carried out by ASI Ram Lal I/C PP Pandoh.
CASE UNDER SC/ST ACT (PREVENTION OF ATROCITIES ACT), HURT AND CRIMINAL
INTIMIDATION
2. Case FIR No. 104/12 dated 05/05/12 U/S 3 of SC/ST Act and 323, 506
IPC has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi on the written complaint
of Sh. Sunil Kumar S/O Sh. Nager Dev R/O Vill. Koon P.O. Kot Tehsil
Sadar Distt. Mandi that he was going to his house from Kotli to Koon
by bus. Roshan Lal S/O Sh. Narpat Ram R/O Vill. Koon P.O. Kot was also
travelling by said bus and he started abusing him and also beat him
up. When they reached at Koon said Roshal Lal again obstructed him and
beat him up and also abused him by caste i.e. Dagi-Dumna and threaten
to kill him. SI Naveen Jhalta I.O. of P.S. Sadar Mandi is
investigating the case.
CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY HURT AND INTIMIDATION
3. Case FIR No.103/12 dated 05/05/12 U/S 341, 323, 504, 34 IPC has
been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi on the complaint of Mast Ram S/O
Sh. Jethu Ram R/O Vill. Suka-Koon PO Sehali Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi
that on 05/05/12 at about 1.00 PM Sounu Ram, Nirmala Devi, Daya Ram
and Souni Devi come to his house and started digging land with JCB. On
this he tried to stop them but Daya Ram kicked his wife Satya Devi and
she fell down and sustained injuries and he also abuse them. ASI Brij
Lal I.O. of PS Sadar Mandi is investigating the case.
CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY AND HURT
4. Case FIR No. 105/12 dated 05/05/12 U/S 341, 323, 34 IPC has been
registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi on the complaint of Sh. Surender Kumar
S/O Sh. Achher Singh R/O Vill. Bhatwar P.O. Sadyana Tehsil Sadar
Distt. Mandi that on 05/05/12 Chuni Lal S/O Sh. Nand Lal along with
other three persons obstructed his way and beat him up and thereafter
they sped away by a vehicle (HP33-3536) from the spot. HC Balam Ram
No. 540 I.O. of P.S. Sadar Mandi is investigating the case.
CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY, HURT AND INTIMIDATION
5. Case FIR No. 134/12 dated 05/05/12 U/S 341, 323, 504, 34 IPC has
been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Baldev Singh S/O
Sh. Roop Lal R/O Vill. Kotlu PO Galma Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi that
on 05/05/12 at about 8 PM he was going to his house by his tractor
and when he reached near the house of Dromati Devi, in the mean time
Dromti Devi and her son Desh Raj and Hans Raj obstructed his way and
beat him up. HC Ram Singh No. 66 I.O. of P.S. Balh is investigating
the case.
CASE OF RIOTING AND HURT
6. Case FIR No. 135/12 dated 05/05/12 U/S 147, 149, 323 IPC has been
registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Dromti Devi@ Guddo W/O
Sh. Kishan Chand R/O Kandi PO Ratti Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi that on
05/05/12 Roop Lal along with other four persons entered in her land
along with tractor and when she objected these all five persons beat
her up and her sons saved her from their clutches. HC Ram Singh I.O.
of P.S. Balh is investigating the case.
ARREST OF ACCUSED IN PREVIOUS CASE
7. Accused Narender Kumar S/O Sh Prem Singh R/O Batail PO Bhambla
Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi was arrested on 05/05/12 by HC Chaman
Lal No. 867 I.O. of P.P. Hattli who was wanted in case FIR NO. 50/12
dated 09/03/12 U/S 504, 506, 509, 120B IPC of P.S. Sarkaghat who is
being produced before the Ld. Court.

8. Case FIR No. 68/12 dated 06/05/12 U/S 341, 323 IPC has been
registered in P.S. Sundernagar on the written complaint of Sh. Hans
Raj S/O Sh. Bhangu Ram R/O Bhawana PO Salwana Tehsil Sundernagar
Distt. Mandi that on 05/05/12 at about 08.30 AM his son Devender Kumar
obstructed his away and beat him up. HC Hem Raj I.O. of P.S.
Sundernagar is investigating the case.
CHALLANS
9. 125 Challans were issued and fine of Rs. 24,800/- was recovered
under M.V. Act and 11 challans were issued under COTPA and fine of Rs.
1100/- was recovered during last 24 hours.
