DRUNKEN DRIVING CHALLANS

1. 36 Drunken Drivers were challaned using alcosensors in Mandi district yesterday. This is a record figure considering the fact that around 100 drunken driving challans were issued in entire year of 2011. The maximum 12 Challans were issued by SHO Aut SI Anil.

CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY, HURT AND INTIMIDATION

2. Case FIR No 113/12 dated 10/05/12 U/S 341,323,504,34 IPC has been registered in PS Sarkaghat on the complaint of Vipan Kumar S/O Suresh Chand R/O Village Hari Behna Tehsil Sarkaghat that on 10/05/2012 at about 7 PM when he and Malkiyat Singh were going to home from Nabahi and reached near Nabahi bridge, then Sunni and Vijay obstruct his way and beat him up. ASI Naresh Kumar I/O of PS Sarkaghat is investigating the case

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT AND DEATH DUE TO RASHNESS/ NEGLIGENCE

3. Case FIR No. 79/12 dated 10/5/12 U/S 279, 304A IPC has been registered in PS Karsog on the complaint of Kumari Indu Devi D/O Sh. Bishamber Dutt VPO Sarhan Tehsil PS Karsog Distt Mandi (H..P) that she is a student of +2 in School Tevan on 10/5/12 She was Coming from School along with her sister Gira Devi and other girl Kritika Kapoor. At about 3.30 PM when they reached at Place Shishvi Dhar (Sarhan) one vehicle No( HP 14T- 5745) came from Kotalu side driven by Harish Kumar village Khamanu very rashly and hit the girl Karitka Kapoor due to which she died on spot . ASI Amer singh I/O of PS Karsog is investigating the case.

CASE OF THEFT

4. Case FIR No.47/12 dated 10/5/2012 U/S 380,34 IPC has been registered in PS Padhar on the written complaint of Sh. Dile Ram S/O Sh. Shesh Ram R/O Khaglawar GP Segli Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi that on 5/5/12 at about 10PM. Tej Singh @ Biri Singh S/O Thakru,Bhim sain S/O Tej Ram ,Gopal S/O Bhim Sain ,Neter Singh S/OBhim sain , Roshan lal S/O Bhim sain ,Kishori lal S/O Bhim sain all R/O VPO Tihari tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi stolen away Iron sheets, Wooden door from Primary School at Ghron. HC Prem Singh I/O of PS Padhar is investigating the case .

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

5. Case FIR No 71/12 dated 10/5/12 U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS Sundernagar on the complaint of of Hari Singh S/O Gusain Ram R/O Chhater P/O Jugahan Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi that on 10/5/12 he was coming from Nerchowk on the M/Cycle No (HP31A-3069). At about 4.00 P.M. When he reached near Chhater in the mean time M/Cycle No.( HP31A-5706 )also caming from Nerchowk side very rashly and hit his M/Cycle. The M/Cycle was driven by the Santosh Kumar S/O Durga Dass R/O Tarot P/O Kanaid Tehsil and P.S. Sundernagar distt. Mandi. ASI Jasbir Singh I/O of Highway Petrol Sunder Nagar is investigating the case.

ARREST OF ACCUSED IN PREVIOUS CASE

6. Tej Singh @Biri Singh S/O Thakru,Gopal S/O Bhim sain , all R/O VPO Tihari Tehsil Sadar Padhar Distt. Mandi have been arrested in case FIR NO.47/12 dated 10/5/12 U/S 380,34 IPC and accused Vipon Kumar S/O Sh. Karam Singh R/O Thuji PO Barot has been arrested in case FIR No 46/12 dated 9/5/12 U/S 452,354,323,506 IPC and he will beproduced in the Court of LD CJM Mandi today.

CHALLAN

7. 125 challans were issued and fine of Rs. 9,900/- was recovered under M.V. Act and 23 challans were issued under COTPA and fine of Rs. 2300/- was recovered during last 24 hours.
