CASE OF NDPS ACT

1. Case FIR No 123/12 dated 16/05/12 U/S 20-61-85 NDPS Act has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat by SI Kripal Singh I.O. of PS Sarkaghat that he was on patrolling along with other police officials and during the course of patrolling he recovered 10 Gram cannabis (charas) from the possession of Rakesh Kumar @ Kalu S/O Sh. Sant Ram R/O Village Banali PO Sadhot Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt Mandi. Accused has been arrested and further investigation of the case is on progress. SI Kripal Singh I.O. of P.S. Sarkaghat is investigating the case.

CASE OF CHEATING

2. Case FIR No 124/12 dated 16/05/12 U/S 419,420 IPC has been registered on the complaint of Sh. Ramesh Chand S/O Sh Nand Lal R/O Village Parchhu PO Sajaopiplu Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt Mandi that Smt. Prabhi Devi and Smt. Parwati Devi were married in the past with late Sh. Ganpat Ram. Smt Prabhi Devi died during the year 1989 and Smt. Parwati Devi is still alive. Now the name of Smt Prabhi Devi has been tempered with as Prabhi Devi @ Parbati in the record and Smt. Parbati Devi is still getting the pension of late Sh Ganpat Ram fraudulently. ASI Mohinder Singh IO PS Sarkaghat is investigating the case.

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

3. Case FIR No. 48/12 dated 17/5/2012 U/S 279,337 IPC has been registered in PS Padhar on the complaint of Sh. Ashok Hari Dhavle S/O Sh. Hari Sabli Ram Dhavle R/O CBD Belapur Shri Arpan Society Room No. 402 Sec 14 New Mumbai that on 16/05/2012 at about 12.00 PM he and his family members and other neighbours (about 35 persons) were coming from Katra to Manali by Bus No.(CH03P-1818) Golden Travels Which was driven by Om Prakash S/O Sh. Balbir Singh R/O Pathanpura Muhalla Saharanpur (UP). On 17/05/12 at about 3.50 AM when said bus reached nearby Megal then the driver of said bus lost control over it and due to rash and negligent driving it struck with a hill and thereafter it was down into the road and three passengers namely Rashal Disuja, Neha Dhavle and Chandu Thouari sustained injuries. SI/SHO Sanjeev Kumar PS Padhar is investigating the case.

CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY, HURT AND INTIMIDATION

4. Case FIR No. 143/12 date 16/05/12 U/S 341,323,504,34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Smt. Bhuvneshwari Devi W/O Sh. Tek Chand R/O Batehta PO Brokhmani Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi that Goverdhan Pal, his wife Bunti Devi and his sons Bhushan Kumar and Inder Pal obstructed her way and beat her up. HC Balbir Singh No. 23 I.O. of P.S. Balh is investigating the case.

CHALLAN

5. 120 challans were issued and fine of Rs. 34,800/- was recovered under M.V. Act, 26 challans were issued under COTPA and fine of Rs. 2600/- and 1 challan was issued under Mining Act during last 24 hours.
