CASE OF NDPS ACT

1. Case FIR No. 39/12 dated 04/05/12 U/S 20-61-85 NDPS Act has been
registered in P.S. BSL Colony Sundernagar by HC Chint Ram No. 873 I.O.
of P.S. BSL Colony Sundernagar that today at 10.45 AM he was on
patrolling along with other police officials at Chaugan Chowk
Sundernagar and during the course of patrolling, on seeing police
party a boy tried to sped away from the spot and on suspicion said boy
was caught with the help of police party and during the course of his
personal search he recovered 10 Gram cannabis (charas) from his
possession and also revealed out his name as Ameet Thakur S/O Sh.
Ashwani Kumar R/O H. No. 132/10 Chaugan Purana Bazaar Sundernagar.
Accused has been arrested and further investigation of the case is on
progress.

CASE OF KIDNAPPING AND ABDUCTION

2. Case FIR No. 43/12 dated 03/05/12 U/S 363,366 IPC has been
registered in P.S. Padhar on the complaint of Smt. Kaushalya Devi W/O
Sh. Charan Singh VPO Drahal Tehsil Jogindernagar Distt. Mandi HP that
her daughter Jayoti who is studying in BA-III years in Govt . College
Padhar went on 30/04/12 to Vallabh College Mandi to fill up the form
for taking admission in B. Ed. But she did not return back as yet. She
suspects that her daughter Jayoti was kidnapped/abducted by Mintu S/O
Sh. Dharam Singh R/O Banog Tehsil Jogindernagar Distt. Mandi who
threatened her daughter telephonic-ally for kidnapping her. ASI Charan
Singh I.O. of P.S. Padhar is investigating the case.

CASE OF PREVENTIVE ARREST

3. Accused Jitender Sharma S/O Sh. Hem Chand R/O Vill. Khiuri PO
Rajgarh Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi was arrested U/S 107/151 Cr.P.C. by
HC Kewal Singh No. 20 I.O. of P.S. Balh on 03/05/12 who is being
produced today before the SDM Mandi.

CASE OF BURGLARY AND THEFT

4. Case FIR No. 67/12 dated 04/05/12 U/S 457, 380 IPC has been
registered in P.S. Sundernagar on the complaint of Sh. Rajesh Kumar
S/O Sh. Mast Ram R/O Khalyana PO Bachwan Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi
at present residing in quarter No. 6 Block-C Housing Board Colony near
Dental College Sundernagar Distt. Mandi that during the intervening
night of 03-04/05/12 some unknown persons stolen away jewellery, an
ATM of PNB etc. having approximately total value 78,000/-. HC Lalit
Kumar No. 26 I.O. of P.S. Sundernagar is investigating the case.

CASE OF THEFT, MISCHIEF, ASSAULT OR CRIMINAL FORCE TO COMMIT THE THEFT
AND INTIMIDATION & HURT

5. Case FIR No. 101/12 dated 03/05/12 U/S 379,427,356,504,323,34 IPC
has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi on the complaint of Smt. Ganga
Devi W/O Sh. Manoj Kumar R/O VPO Kalodhar Tehsil Chachiot Distt. Mandi
at present residing in quarter No. 210/12 Gurdwara Mohalla Paddal
Mandi that on 02/05/12 she was going to her quarter and when she
reached near College Gate Mandi, two persons met her, one of them
collided with her and another caught her from her neck and stolen away
her golden chain and also broke the tops of her ear. HC Anil Kumar
I.O. of P.S. Sadar Mandi is investigating the case.

CASE OF CRIMINAL TRESPASS

6. Case FIR NO 49/12 dated 03/05/12 U/S 447 IPC has been registered
in P.S. Aut on the written complaint of Sh. Lal Singh S/O Sh.
Nathu Ram R/O Vill. Dhaman Tehsil Banjar Distt Mandi HP that
Balbir Singh S/O Sh. Kulbir Singh R/O Malhotra jeweller
Akhara Bazaar Kullu Distt Kullu HP is doing encroachment in his land
for few years. HC Thakur Singh No 53 I.O. of P.P. Balichowki is
investigating the case.

CASE OF CRIMINAL TRESPASS AND MISCHIEF

7. Case FIR No. 50/12 dated 03/05/12 U/S 447, 427 IPC has been
registered in P.S. Aut on the written complain of Sh. Balbir Singh
S/O Sh. Kulbir Singh, R/O Akhara Bazaar, Kullu, Distt. Kullu (HP) that
he is running a crusher at village Ropi on his own land since last 12
years and there is some portion of land which is also possessed by
the complainant where some trees were also planted by the complainant
and for the purpose some of Rs. 5000/- was spent by him. On 27/04/12
Lal Singh S/O Sh. Nathi R/O Dhaman PO Larji Tehsil Banjar Distt. Mandi
entered in his land and uprooted the all trees planted by him. HC
Thakur Singh No. 53 I.O. of P.S. Balichowki is investigating the case.

CASE OF DEATH DUE TO FALLING

8. Mohan Lal S/O Sh. Mahant Ram R/O Vill. Kalas PO Thauna Tehsil
Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi died due to falling from on the way at native
place Kalas. Post mortem of the dead body was carried out in R.H.
Sarkaghat and proceeding U/S 174 Cr.P.C. is being carried out by the
local police of P.S. Sarkaghat.

CHALLANS

9. 111 challans were issued and fine of Rs. 12,700/- was recovered
under M.V. Act and 3 challans were issued under COTPA and fine of Rs.
300/- was recovered during last 24 hours.
