CASE OF NDPS ACT

1. Case FIR No. 98/12 dated 01/05/12 U/S 20-61-85 NDPS Act has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi by ASI Ram Lal incharge Police Post Pandoh that on 01/05/12 at about 3.45 PM he laid a nakka along with other police officials at Kanchimore on NH-21 and during the course of nakka a a boy came on foot from Hanogi side towards Pandoh and on seeing police party he returned back, on suspicion he caught said boy with the help of other police officials and during the course of his personal search he recovered 100 Gram cannabis (charas) from his possession and he revealed out his name as Suraj S/O Sh. Prem Singh R/O Jathed PO Katrain Tehsil Manali Distt. Kullu. Above accused has been arrested and further investigation of the case is on progress which is being carried out by ASI Ram Lal I/C PP Pandoh.

CASE OF THEFT

2. Case FIR No.99/12 dated 01/05/12 U/S 454,380 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sadar on the written complaint of Sh. Mohan Lal S/O Sh. Hari Singh R/O Village Tikker Kalan P.O. Tikker Distt. Mandi at present working in Narayan Printing Press Jail Road Mandi that on 01/05/12 during working hours he removed his shirt in the room and put his mobile phone in the pocket of his shirt. At about 1.20 PM after taking tea he checked his shirt and he didn't find his mobile in the pocket of his shirt. Said room of the printing was equipped with CCTV camera and owner of the printing press checked the footages of CCTV cameras and found that a boy namely Chaman Lal form Pairi side stolen away his mobile set from the pocket of his shirt. On this a case has been registered against Chaman Lal which is being investigated by HC Vijay Kumar No.405 I.O. of P.P. City Mandi.

CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY AND HURT

3. Case FIR No 48/12 dated 02/05/12 U/S 341, 323, 34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Aut on the complaint of Sh. Mir Chand S/O Sh. Sher Singh R/O Vill Kasunala PO Panjain Sub Tehsil Bali Chowki Distt Mandi (HP) that on 07/02/12 at 11.30 AM Tila Devi W/O Sh. Mohar Singh R/O Village Tharari PO Panjain Sub Tehsil Balichowki Distt Mandi (HP) beat him up and he sustained injuries. HC Thakur Singh No. 53 I.O. of PP Balichowki is investigating the case.

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

4. Case FIR No. 133/12 dated 02/05/12 U/S 279,337 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Pawan Kumar S/O Sh. Brij Lal R/O VPO Behna Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi that on 02/05/12 at about 9.30 AM he was present in his shop at Chakker bazaar, in the mean time a tractor (HP55-6516) came from Mandi side towards Nerchowk and a scooty (A/F) came from Chandyal side and when both vehicles reached near his shop, above mentioned tractor struck with above mentioned scooty and rider of Sh. Karam Dass and Jamna Devi fell down on the road and sustained injuries. Both injured admitted to Z.H. Mandi and HC Lal Singh No. 80 I.O. of P.S. Balh is investigating the case.

CHALLANS

5. 138 challans were issued and fine of Rs. 17,800/- was recovered under M.V. Act, 4 challans were issued under COTPA and fine of Rs. 400/- was recovered and 2 challans were issued under Mining Act during last 24 hours.
