1. Case FIR No. 120/12 dated 14/05/12 U/S 325,323 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat on the complaint of Sh. Suraj Bhardwai S/O Sh. Sohan Singh R/O VPO Sadhot Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi that on 11/05/12 at about 6.15 AM Rajender Pal S/O Sh. Trahru Ram R/O VPO Sadhot and his family members beat him up along with his sister Sujata Devi and they both sustained injuries. HC Chaudhary Ram No. 46 I.O. of P.S. Sarkaghat is investigating the case.

2. Case FIR No. 121/12 dated 14/05/12 U/S 498A, 323,504, 506 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat on the complaint of Smt. Pushpa Devi W/O Sh. Vikramjeet R/O VPO Mundkhar Tehsil Bhoranj Distt. Hamirpur at present VPO Gahar Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi that she was married during the year 2008 with Vikramjeet and they have one issue from their wed lock. From the first day after her marriage Vikramjeet, Shaligram, Manjeet, Sandeep, Surita Devi all R/O VPO Mundkhar and Nirmla Devi, Nand Lal both are VPO Bhokkar Tehsil Bhoranj Distt. Hamirpur harassed her and demanded dowry. ASI Subhash Kumar I.O. of P.S. Sarkaghat is investigating the case.
CASE OF DEATH DUE TO FALLING
3. Dalip Singh S/O Sh. Mahantu Ram R/O Vill. Lakhankothi PO Ropari Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi died due to falling at Parchuu. Postmortem of the dead body of the deceased was carried out at hospital Sarkaghat by ASI Subhash Kumar I.O. of P.S. Sarkaghat and proceeding U/S 174 Cr.P.C. is being carried out by the local police of P.S. Sarkaghat.

Balak Ram Village Hiundi PO Kao Tehsil Karsog Distt Mandi that on 14/05/12 Hans Raj S/O Sh. Dhani Ram R/O VPO Shakara Tehsil & PS Karsog Distt Mandi, Pawan Kumar S/O Sh. Dablu Ram R/O village Randoul PO Jassai Tehsil Karsog Distt Mandi HP and Sunita W/O Sh. Dhir Mal village Mahuta Randoul PO Jassai Tehsil Karsog Distt Mandi Kidnapped his daughter Nirmala Devi with the intention to marry her with Ghanshyam S/O Sh. Mina Ram VPO Gabshar. ASI Amar Singh I.O. of P.S. Karsog is investigating the case.
CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY AND HURT
5. Case FIR No. 78/12 dated 15/05/12 U/S 341,323,34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar on the complaint of Sh. Pushap Raj S/O Sh. Bali Ram R/O Raopali PO Dayargi Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi that today he was coming from Kapahi by his M/Cycle (HP33B-7545) along with Sunil Kumar S/O Sh. Dhani Ram VPO Jarol Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi and at about 12.30 PM when he reached near BBMB lake near Dhiman hospital two unknown persons obstructed his way and beat him up. ASI Joginder Singh I.O. of P.S. Sundernagar is investigating the case.

6. 107 challans were issued and fine of Rs. 15,600/- was recovered under M.V. Act and 12 challans were issued under COTPA and fine of Rs. 1200/- during last 24 hours.
