CRIME REPORT ON 16 JAN

BALOON OF METEOROLOGICAL DEPARTMENT  FOUND AT MAJHWAR

1. Today the Police Station Sadar  received information that a balloon was lying near Majhwar. On receiving this information the undersigned deputed Sh. Arjit Sen Thakur, IPS, ASP Mandi to visit the spot to verify the facts. On reaching the spot the balloon was found  and it is depicted on it "made in Germany" alongwith  barcode and number of Meteorological Department.  On this  Sh. Rakesh Sen  from Meteorological Department Observatory,  Sundernagar was contacted and he conveyed that such  balloons along with instrument called Radiosonde  are sent  by their department time to time  to observe atmospheric conditions. Hence, said balloon is not suspicious as per facts verified from the Met Department, Sundernagar. Similar balloon was also found in Ladbharol area recently. 

                        General public is appealed to inform the local police  or Meteorological Department in case such scientific instrument/balloon is found in future as well.

2. Case FIR No. 07/16 dated 1r5/01/16  U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in  P.S. Gohar on the complaint of Sh. Budhi Singh  S/O Sh. Uttam Singh  R/O  Tapandi PO  Brikhmani Tehsil Balh Distt. Mandi  (HP) that on 15/01/16  he was coming   towards   Chailchowk  by his  Scooter (HP32-0640)  and when reached near  Govt.  Sr. Sec. School  Chailchowk  in the mean time  a Car (HP18-4646 ) which was  driven by driver  Munna   came  rashly from the opposite side and  hit to his scooter  and  he  sustained  injuries.  ASI  Ashok Kumar  I.O. of P.S. Gohar is investigating  the case.

CASE OF RIOTING AND  CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION

3.  Case FIR No.  16/16 dated 15/01/16  U/S  147 , 506, 34  IPC has been registered in P.S.  Karsog on the complaint of   Sh.  Parma Nand  S/O Sh. Shambu Ram  R/O Alsandi Tehsil  Karsog  Distt.  Karsog  (HP)  that on 15/01/16  he was present at  Alsandi, in the mean time  Guddi Devi  came alongwith    eight  persons   and   also assaulted  upon him  and  threatened him   with dire consequences.  HC  Ashok  Kumar   I.O. of P.S.   Karsog  is investigating  the case.

CASE OF CRIMINAL TRESPASS, HURT AND  MISCHIEF

4. Case FIR No. 17/16 dated 15/01/16  U/S  451, 323, 427, 34 IPC has been registered in P.S.  Karsog  on the   statement of  Guddi Devi   W/O Sh. Tulsi Ram  VPO  Alsandi Tehsil Karsog Distt. Mandi (HP) that  on 15/01/16  she  was present on  her home ,  in the mean time  Parma Nand  came alongwith  two persons  entered in  her courtyard  and  beat her up and  duing the manhandling she  also lost her Magalsutra  and  ears  ring  ASI  Amar Singh  I/O of  Police Station  Karsog is investigating the case.

CASE OF HURT AND MISCHIEF

 

5.  Case FIR No. 2/2016 dated 15/01/16  U/S 323, 429  IPC  has been registered in P.S.  Aut on the complaint of Sh. Thakur Dass  S/O Sh. Bhagat Ram R/O  Shahanu PO  Mahogi  Sub- Tehsil Balichowki Distt. Mandi (HP)  that on 14/01/16  he was  present   near  Thalot   alongwith  Inder Singh& Thouru Ram  , in the mean time  a Vehicle(HP34B-6181)  came rashly from Kullu side and   hit  to his mule  and   driver of said vehicle also beat to Inder Singh.  ASI  Subhash  Chand  I.O. of P.S. Aut is investigating the case.

6. 40 Vehicles were  challaned  under M.V.Act and fine of Rs. 3600 /- was recovered  and  4  challans were issued under Mining Act  and fine of  Rs.  21,100  was   recovered  during last 24 hours.
