CRIME REPORT ON 13/01/2016

MONTHLY JOINT CONSULTANCY COMMITTEE-CUM-CRIME MEETING & BRIEFING ON THE VISIT OF HON'BLE CHIEF MINISTER OF H.P.

1.         In view of forthcoming visit of the  hon'ble Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Shimla on 15/01/2016 to preside over the oath ceremony of newly elected Presidents  and Vice Presidents of Gram Panchayats of District Mandi, Bilaspur, Kullu and Hamirpur, today the undersigned briefed the all officers, SHOs & I/C P.Ps.  and police personnel of Mandi Police to maintain the law & order and smooth regulation of traffic in Mandi  town and nearby N.Hs.   

            Entire Mandi town area is divided into 5 sectors and about 800 police officers, officials of Police and Home Guards are being deployed for law & order duty and traffic regulation in the Mandi town areas  to avoid the inconvenience for general public. Sh. Arjit Sen Thakur, IPS ASP Mandi and Sh. Sanjeev Bhatia SDPO Sarkaghat will be  incharges of traffic regulation of   the Mandi town areas. Sh. Rajesh Kumar Dy. S.P. Headquarters Mandi will be incharge of Helipad and Venue of oath ceremony at Paddal.  Sh. Kulbhsuhan Verma, SDPO Sundernagar will be incharge  of  VIP enclosure/Paddal in Gymkhana club Lunch Venue and Sh. Anil Dhaulta SDPO Padhar will be incharge of Lunch Venue for newly elected Presidents  and Vice Presidents of Gram Panchayats.

             Heavy vehicles are   coming from Hamirpur, Bilaspur, Sundernagar and Karsog side will  be parked near Pulghrat towards Sabji Mandi road, vehicles are   coming from Joginderngar side  will be parked at Bhiuli and vehicles   coming from Kullu side will be parked near HRTC workshop Sauli Khud and vehicles   coming from Rewalsar side will be parked at Do Amb towards Talyahar.

            During the course of said meeting the undersigned redress the all welfare issues of the police personnel.  The undersigned also discussed all cases which are pending for investigation   and directed to the all concerned to finalize the all pending investigation cases immediately. Also directions were given to emphasis on Drug control, Drug detection in their areas.

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

2.  Case FIR No. 04/16 dated 13/01/16 U/S  279, 337  IPC has been registered in P.S.   Gohar on the complaint of Sh. Santosh Kumar S/O Sh. Subhash Chand  R/O  Ruhmani Tehsil  Thunag Distt. Mandi (HP)   that on 12/01/16  he was  going to  his home  and  when he reached near  Jhugra Nala, in the mean time  a Car (A/F)  which was driven by   Madan  Lal  S/O Sh. Kahan Singh  VPO  Ruhmani Tehsil   Thunag  Distt. Mandi (HP), came rashly and  fell down about 500/600 feet downward  from the road and driver of said driver sustained injuries. HC  Sarwan Kumar  No. 917  I.O. of PP Janjehli is investigating  the case.

CASE OF   FOREST ACT 

3.  Case FIR No. 07/16 dated 12/01/16 U/S  41, 42 Indian   Forest Act  and  U/S 379  IPC has  been registered in P.S.  BSL Colony Sundernagar  on the complaint of Sh. Chet Ram  at present  Forest Block  Officer, Kutahachi that  on 12/01/2016  he laid a nakka alongwith other officials  of his forest department  at Jachh  and during the course  checking of  Vehicle(HP31B-2211)   he recovered  six  logs of   Cedar (deodar) from the possession of   driver   namely  Devki  Nand   S/O Sh.  Barikam Ram  R/O  Noru PO  Bhangrotu Tehsil Balh  Distt. Mandi (HP).  Accused has  been  arrested and  further investigation is  being carried out by   HC  Daharam  Chand  No. 897 I.O. of P.S. BSL Colony Sundernagar.

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

4. Case FIR No. 07/16  dated 12/01/16  U/S 279 , 337  IPC has been registered in P.S.  Balh on the complaint of Sh. Himmat Ram S/O Sh. Tulsi Ram R/O  VPO  Pali Tehsil  Padhar Distt. Mandi (HP) that on  12/01/16  he  parked his Truck (HP33B-2345)  near Police Assistance Room at   Nerchowk   due to some technical faults, in the  mean time  a Car(HP33C-48)  came rashly  from Sundernagar and   collided with  said  truck  due to which driver of said car namely Sh. Hitender   sustained injuries.   SI  Vikas  Kumar  No. 1/O of P.S. Balh is investigating the case. 

CASE OF CHEATING

5. Case FIR No. 11/16 dated 13/01/16  U/s 420  IPC has been registered  in P.S. Sadar on the complaint of Sh. Hari Krishan S/O Sh. Lohar Ram  R/O  Janed  PO  Marathu Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi (HP)  that on 09/01/16   when he was withdrawing   the money   from  PNB ATM Booth  near Police Lines Mandi , in the mean time an unknown person entered  in  ATM  Booth   for his  help and exchanged  his  ATM Card with another  Card and  also   withdrawn   amount of Rs  34, 020/-  from his   Account .  HC  Vijay  Kumar  No. 405  I.O. of P.S. Sadar is investigating the case.

CASE OF CRIMINAL TRESPASS, HURT AND CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION

6. Case FIR No. 05/16 dated 13/01/16  U/S 447 , 323, 504, 506  IPC has been registered in  P.S.  Padhar  on the complaint of  Smt.  Meera  Devi   W/O Sh. Maan  Singh  R/O  Baragoan PO  Drang Tehsil  Sadar Distt. Mandi (HP) that  on 13/01/16  Roshan Lal resident of  the same locality   entered in his land and beat  her  up and she sustained injuries and   also  threatened her with dire consequences   HC Rup  Lal  No. 56  I.O. of P.S. Padhar is investigating  the case.

CASE OF KIDNAPPING

7. Case FIR No.  17/16  dated 12/01/16  U/S  363, 366 IPC has been registered in P.S.   Sarkaghat on the complaint  of  person resident of village Sadwahal PO Gehra Tehsil Baldwara Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 11/01/2016 minor daughter of his brother (aged about 17 years old) was kidnapped by Chaman Lal S/O Sh. Nand Lal R/O Vill. Kaner PO  Kiftu Tehsil Kandhaghat Distt. Solan. ASI Chirnji Lal I.O. of P.P. Hattli is investigating the case.

CHALLANS

8.  161  Challans were issued under M.V. Act and fine of Rs. 20,100 /- was recovered,  19 Challans were issued under COTPA Act and fine of Rs. 1900 /- was recovered  and 3  challans  were issued under  Mining Act  and fine of  Rs. 9000/-  was recovered  during last 24 hours.
