CRIME REPORT 25 JUNE

DRUG AWARENESS WEEK-

  1. International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking takes place every year  on 26th   June. This days is organized to make our society free of illegal drugs and drug abuse.  On the occasion of observing 26th June as International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, Mandi Police organized  today a rally of school children/students   at district headquarters Mandi which was flagged of by Sh. Arjit Sen Thakur, IPS, Asstt. Superintendent of Police, District Mandi and Sh. Hitesh Lakhanpal,HPS, Dy.Supdt.of Police(Hqrs) Mandi. About 400 students/children of various schools and ITI Mandi participated in this rally in view to aware the general masses and students about the menace of drugs and     unite them to  fight against any kind of drug abuse.     

 

CASE OF MOLESTATION            

  1. Case FIR NO. 168/16 dated 25/06/2016 U/S 354,341,323,504,506 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar on the complaint of a lady resident of Sector 24A  Amloh District Fatehgarh Sahib Punjab that on 25/06/2016 Raju Gupta owner of Gupta Bhojnalya Bhour Tehsil Sundernagar obstructed her way and tried to outrage her modesty and also threatened to her with dire consequences. HC Tek Chand No. 3 I.O. of P.S. Sundernagar is investigating the case.

     

CASE OF INTIMIDATION AND GESTURE INTEND TO INSULT THE MODESTY OF WOMAN

  1. Case FIR No. 177/16 dated 25/06/2016 U/S 504,506,509 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of a lady resident of village Chowki Chandrahan PO Riur Tehsil Balh Distt. Mandi that Jagdish @ Meharu S/O Sh. Manju Ram R/O Vill. Chowki Chandrahan PO Riur Tehsil Balh misbehaved with her in obscene manners and also threatened her with dire consequences.

     

ARREST OF ACCUSED PERSON

  1. Accused Bhanu Shidu S/O Sh. Raj Kumar R/OH. No. 4 Krishna Nagar Love Kush Chowk Shimla, District Shimla arrested in case FIR No. 52/16 dated 20/03/2016 U/S 363,366A,376,120B IPC & U/S 4 of POCSO Act on 24/06/2016 who is produced before the Ld. Court of JMIC Chachiot at Gohar  and awarded 4 days police remand upto 28/06/2016.

     

CHALLANS

  1. 319 Challans were issued under M.V. Act and fine of Rs. 42,490/-  was recovered,  13 Challans were issued under COTPA t and fine of Rs. 1400 was recovered and 1 Challan was  issued under Mining Act   during last 24 hours.
