DRUG AWARENESS WEEK
International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking takes place every year on 26 June. This days is organized to make our society free of illegal drugs and drug abuse. On the occasion of observing 26th June as International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, Mandi Police is organizing today awareness programme at schools & colleges at police stations levels in this district. Lectures are delivered in schools and colleges by the SHOs and I.Os. Today Mandi Police is also visited the slum areas to launch special drive against drug abuse and aware the children and their parents about the menace of drugs. So let's unite and fight against any kind of drug or tobacco abuse. Join hands with us. Mandi Police.
CASE OF CHEATING
Case FIR No. 91/16 dated 21/06/16 U/S 420 IPC has been registered in P.S. Karsog on the complaint of Sh. Ram Lal S/O Sh. Churu Ram R/O Joka Nala PO Shankar Dehra Tehsil Thunag District Mandi (HP) that on 07/06/16 an advertisement was published in newspaper "Amar Ujala" regarding installation of 3G/4G towers . After reading said advertisement complainant made a call on mobile Number 09717203705 which was also published in said newspaper and holder of said mobile phone told him to deposit amount of Rs. 1,04900 in the different accounts which are in the name of Galaxy towers company. On this complainant deposited amount of Rs. 1,04,900/- but now they saying to deposit more amount in their accounts in lieu of installation of such mobile towers in the land of complainant and no tower is installed till date by them. SI Sunil Kumar SHO of P.S. Karsog is investigating the case.
CASE OF CRIMINAL TRESPASS, HURT AND CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION
Case FIR No. 99/16 dated 21/06/16 U/S 451, 323, 504 , 506 IPC has been registered in P.S. Gohar on the complaint of Sh.Tej Singh S/O Sh. Dilu Ram VPO Kot Tehsil Chachiot District Mandi (HP) that on 20/06/16 he was present in his home, in the mean time Roshan Lal , Govind Ram & Som Dutt entered in his courtyard and beat him up and he sustained injuries. They also threatened him with dire consequences. HC Chaman Lal No. 410 I.O. of P.S. Gohar is investigating the case.
CASE OF CRIMINAL TRESPASS, HURT AND CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION
Case FIR No. 164/16 dated 20/06/16 U/S 451, 323, 506, 34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar on the complaint of Sh. Roshan Lal S/O Sh. Nanku R/O Tarot PO Kanaid Tehsil Sundernagar District Mandi (HP) that on 20/06/16 he was present in his home, in the mean time Kasamdin & Pervej entered in his courtyard and beat him up and also threatened him with dire consequences. ASI Sharwan Kumar I.O. of P.S. Sundernagar is investigating the case.
CASE OF OBSTRUCTIING WAY & HURT
Case FIR No. 165/16 dated 21/06/16 U/S 341, 323 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar on the complaint of Smt. Rita Devi W/O Sh. Prem Lal R/O Snoh PO Kangoo Tehsil Sundernagar District Mandi (HP) that on 21/06/16 Usha Devi W/O Deep Chand R/O Alsu PO Dehar Tehsil Sunder Nagar District Mandi HP obstructed her way and beat her up and she sustained injuries. HC Prabhakar Ram Sharma No. 872 I.O. of PP Dehar is investigating the case.
CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY, HURT AND INTIMIDATION
Case FIR No. 166/16 dated 21/06/16 U/S 341, 323, 504, 34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar on the complaint of Smt. Usha Devi W/O Sh. Prem Chand R/O Alsu PO Dehar Tehsil Sunder Nagar District Mandi (HP) that on 21/06/16 Prem Lal & his wife Rita Devi R/O Snoh PO Kangoo Tehsil Sundernagar District Mandi (HP) obstructed his way and beat him up. ASI Brij Lal I/C of PP Dehar is investigating the case.
CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY AND HURT
Case FIR No. 173/16 dated 20/06/16 U/S 341, 323 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sm. Jamana Devi W/O Sh. Gowardhan R/O Hawanu PO Shidhyani Tehsil Balh District Mandi (HP) that on 20/06/16 she was going towards her field, in the mean time her nephew Dhameshwar Singh S/O Sh. Niranjan Singh obstructed her way and beat her up and she sustained injuries ASI Bodh Raj I/C of PP Rewalsar is investigating the case.
CHALLANS
302 Challans were issued under M.V.Act and fine of Rs. 40,400 /- was recovered and 12 Challans were issued under COTPA Act and fine of Rs. 1200/- was recovered and 2 Challans were issued under Mining Act and fine of Rs. 4500/- was recovered during last 24 hours.
