Today wrestling competition of Mandi Mahashivratri Mahotsav 2016 started at Paddal Ground Mandi.
First of all worship ceremony of "wrestling akhara" led by Sh. Prem Kumar Thakur, IPS Superintendent of Police, Mandi (HP)-cum-Convener, Shivratri Fair Sports Sub Committee, District Mandi (HP) and thereafter he inaugurated the said wrestling championship of Mandi Mahashivratri Mahotsav 2016.
Senior officers of district administration and members of wrestling committees were present on the occasion.
Today matches of above wrestling competition were organized for winning the title of "Mandi Kesari".
First match for said "Mandi Kesari" title (below 18 years old age group) held between Sh. Rajat Kumar wrestler resident of Mahadev Sundernagar Vs Sh. Pawan Kumar wrestler resident of Seri Kothi district Mandi (HP) and Sh. Pawan Kumar won the said first match of above mentioned title.
Second match for said "Mandi Kesari" title (below 18 years old age group) held between Sh. Vijay Kumar wrestler resident of Kansa Chowk Vs Sh. Mohit Kumar wrestler resident of Ghasnu district Mandi (HP) and Sh. Vijay Kumar won the said second match of above mentioned title.
Similarly third match for said "Mandi Kesari" title (below 18 years old age group) held between Sh. Anik wrestler resident of Mahadev Sundernagar Vs Sh. Rakesh Kumar wrestler resident of Baggi district Mandi (HP) and Sh. Anik Kumar won the said third match of above mentioned title.
Tomorrow matches of said Mandi Mahashivratri Mahotsav 2016 Wrestling Championship will be started from 10 AM onwards at Paddal ground Mandi. All are cordially invited to watch the matches of Wrestling Championship at Paddal ground Mandi.
