RESULTS OF SPORTS ACTIVITIES HELD TODAY AT PADDAL GROUND MANDI ON THE EVE OF INTERNATIONAL MAHA SHIVRATRI FAIR 2016
1. Today following matches of Volleyball, Kabbaddi and Basketball games played at Paddal ground Mandi on the eve of International Mahashivratri Mahaotsav 2016.
(A) VOLLEYBALL
Today Sh. Arjit Sen Thakur, IPS, Asstt. Superintendent of Police, Mandi was the chief guest for opening of Volleyball championship and he inaugurated the said championship at Paddal Ground Mandi.
Today first match of Volleyball game played between team of Postal Department Shimla Vs team Central Range of H.P. Police and said match won by the team of Postal Deparment Shimla by wining all three sets in comparison to no set won by the team of Central Range of H.P. Police.
Second match of Volleyball game played between team of District Hamirpur Vs team of H.P. Police and said match won by the team of H.P. Police by wining all three sets in comparison to no set won by the team of District Hamirpur.
Third match of Volleyball game played between team of Solan District Vs Mandi-A team of District Mandi said match won by the team of Solan District by wining all three sets in comparison to no set won by the team of Mandi-A, district Mandi.
(B) KABADDI
Today first semi final match of Kabaddi game played between teams of Baruna Club Solan Vs Dhabota, Nalagarh and said match won by Baruna Club Solan by securing 25 points and team of Dhabota, Nalagarh secured 21 points.
Second semi final match of Kabaddi championship played between team of Sai Hostel Bilaspur Vs District Mandi and said match won by the team of SAI Bilaspur by securing 37 points and team of district Mandi secured 21 points only.
Final match of Kabaddi championship played between team of Baruna Club Solan Vs SAI Bilaspur and this match won by the team of SAI Bilaspur by securing 22 points and team of Baruna Club, Solan secured 13 points only. Cash prize amounting to Rs. 15,000/- was given to the winner team (SAI Bilaspur) and cash prize amounting to Rs. 11,000/- was given to the runner up team (Baruna Solan).
(C) BASKETBALL
Today first match of Basketball game played between team of district Una Vs District Kullu team and said match won by District Una team by securing 53 points and team of District Kullu secured 23 points.
First semi final match of Basketball championship played between team of Solan district Vs H.P. Police team and said match won by the team of H.P. Police by securing 63 points and district Solan team secured 43 points.
Second semi final match of Basketball championship played between team of district Una Vs Mandi-A team and said match won by the team of district Una by securing 53 points and team of Mandi-A secured 43 points.
Final match of Basketball championship played between team of district Una Vs H.P. Police team and said match won by the team of H.P. Police team by securing 28 points and team of district Una secured 20 points. Cash prize amounting to Rs. 21,000/- was given to the winner team (H.P. Police) and cash prize amounting to Rs. 15000/- was given to the runner up team (district Una).
CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY, HURT AND CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION
2. Case FIR No. 48/16 dated 11/03/16 U/S 341, 323, 504, 506 IPC has been registered in P.S. Gohar on the complaint of Sh. Shesh Ram S/O Sh. Bhoop Singh R/O Bhadnech PO Jarol Tehsil Thunag District Mandi (HP) that on 10/03/16 he was going to his home and when reached near Jarol, in the mean time Kushu S/O Sh. Ram Lal R/O Haleen PO Jarol Tehsil Thunag District Mandi (HP) came there and obstructed his way and beat him up. HC Sarwan Kumar I.O. of PP Janjehli is investigating the case.
CASE OF NDPS ACT
3. Case FIR No. 67/16 dated 10/03/16 U/S 20 of NDPS Act has been registered in P.S. Sadar by HC Nirmal Singh No. 45 I.O. of P.S. Sadar that on 10/03/16 he was on patrolling alongwith other police officials at Bus Stand Mandi and during the patrolling he recovered 90 Gram Charas ( Cannabis) from the possession of Rajesh Kumar S/O Nathu Ram R/O Village Poling PO Luhardhi Tehsil Multhan Distt. Kangra age 27 Years. HC Nirmal Singh No. 45 I.O. of P.S. Sadar is investigating the case.
CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT
4. Case FIR No. 68/16 dated 11/03/16 U/S 279, 337 IPC &U/S 187 MV Act has been registered in P.S. Sadar on the complaint of Sh. Satya Dev S/O Sh. Lalman R/O House No. 86/09 Bhagwahan Mohalla District Mandi (HP) that on 10/03/16 he was going to his home alongwith his grandson namely Anant Sharma and when reached near Gandhi Chowk , in the mean time a Motor Cycle(HP34D-0934) came rashly from behind and hit him and sped away from the spot . In this incident he along with his grandson sustained injuries. HC Manoj Kumar No. 50 I.O. of PP City is investigating the case.
CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY AND HURT
5. Case FIR No. 29/16 dated 10/03/16 U/S 341, 323 IPC has been registered in P.S. Dharampur on the complaint of Sh. Ravi Kumar S/O Sh. Bhagmal R/O Khayalag PO Longni Tehsil Dharampur District Mandi (HP) that on 10/03/16 at about 8:30 PM he was going to his home, in the mean time Seema Devi W/O Sh. Dharam Singh resident of the same locality, obstructed his way and beat him up. HC Sarwan Kumar I.O. of P.S. Dharampur is investigating the case.
CASE OF ( PREVENTION OF ATROCITIES ACT)
6. Case FIR No. 28/16 dated 10/03/16 U/S 341, 504, 506 IPC and U/S 3 (1) (X) of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act has been registered in P.S. Dharampur on the complaint of Sh. Krishan Pal S/O Sh. Mahant Ram VPO Sadhot Sub- Tehsil Tihra District Mandi (HP) at present Principal Govt. Sr. Sec. School Dharampur that on 09/03/16 at about 5 PM he was going to home by his car, in the mean time Kashmir Singh S/O Sh. Bakshi Ram R/O Dharampur obstructed his way and abused him by caste. Sh. Sanjeev Bhatia, HPS , SDPO Sarkaghat is investigating the case.
CASE OF NDPS ACT
7. Case FIR No. 53/16 dated 11/03/16 U/S 20, 29 of NDPS Act has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar by SI Vijay Kumar SHO of P.S. Sundernagar that on 11/03/16 he laid a nakka alongwith other police officials at Pungh and during the course of checking of a Car( PB65E-9385) he recovered 316 Gram Cannabis from the possession of Bhupender Singh S/O Kashmiri Lal age 24 years old & Harpreet S/O Satpal age 24 years old , Vipin Kumar S/O Madan Lal age 30 years & Amandeep S/O Sh. Gurmel age 23 years old all are resident of Kathgarh District Nawanshar (PB ). SI Vijay Kumar I.O. of P.S. Sundernagar is investigating the case.
CASE OF KIDNAPPING
8. Case FIR No. 02/16 dated 11/03/16 U/S 363, 366 , 120(B) IPC has been registered in Woman Police Station Mandi on the complaint of a person resident of Barnota PO Khalanu Distt. Mandi (HP) that his daughter is missing since 7/03/16 and he suspect that some unknown person kidnapped his daughter with the intention to marry with her . ASI Naseeb Singh I.O. of Woman police station Sadar is investigating the case.
CHALLANS
9. 206 Challans were issued under M.V.Act and fine of Rs. 20,200 /- was recovered and 21Challans were issued under COTPA Act and fine of Rs. 2100/- was recovered and 2 Challans were issued under Mining Act and fine of Rs. 11,600/- was recovered during last 24 hours.
