RESULTS OF SPORTS ACTIVITIES HELD TODAY AT PADDAL ON THE EVE OF INTERNATIONAL MAHA SHIVRATRI FAIR 2016
1. Sports championships of Volleyball, Kabbaddi and Basketball games held at Paddal ground Mandi on the eve of International Mahashivratri Mahaotsav 2016 started at Paddal Ground Mandi.
Today Sh. Kulbhushan Verma, HPS, Addl. S.P. Mandi was the chief guest for opening of Kabaddi championship and he inaugurated the said championship at Paddal Ground Mandi.
First match of Kabaddi game played between team of SAI Bilaspur Vs Mandi district which was won by SAI Bilaspur by securing 36 points and team of Mandi district secured 25 points. Second match of Kabaddi championship played between team of Baruna Club Solan Vs District Bilaspur which was won by the team of Baruna Club Solan by securing 48 points and team of district Bilaspur secured 28 points only. 3rd match of Kabaddi championship played between team of District Kullu Vs. Dhabota, Nalagarh which was won by the team of Dhabota, Nalagarh by securing 35 points and team Kullu secured 10 points only. 4th match of Kabaddi championship played between team of HPSEB Ltd. Vs SAI Bilaspur which was won by the team of SAI Bilaspur by securing 35 points and team HPSEB Ltd. secured 20 points only.
Today Sh. Sanjeev Bhatia, HPS SDPO Sarkaghat was the chief guest for opening of Basketball championship and he inaugurated the said championship at Paddal Ground Mandi.
First match of Basketball game played between team of Lauhal Spiti district Vs Mandi-A team which was won by Mandi-A team by securing 52 points and team of Lauhal Spiti secured 44 points. Second match of Basketball championship played between team of Solan district Vs Mandi-B team which was won by the team of Solan District by securing 51 points and Mandi-B team secured 23 points. 3rd match of Basketball championship played between team of HP Police Vs Hamirpur district which was won by the team of H.P. Police by securing 47 points and team of district Hamirpur secured 37 points.
Today first match of Volleyball game played between team of Kullu District Vs Central Range, Mandi of H.P. Police which was won by the team of Central Range Mandi of H. P. Police team by securing 3 sets in comparison to one set by team of District Kullu.
CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY, HURT AND CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION
2. Case FIR No. 46/16 dated 09/03/16 U/S 341, 323 , 506, 34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Gohar on the complaint of Smt. Maina Devi W/O Sh. Shiv Kumar R/O Sainj PO Khunachi Tehsil Thunag District Mandi that on 07/03/16 she was going to home along with her husband, in the mean time Ramesh Kumar S/O Sh. Kalu Ram resident of same locality came along with his wife Guddi Devi and her sons namely Bal Krishan & Ashok Kumar , they obstructed their way and beat up both of them and also threatened them with dire consequences. HC Sarwan Kumar No. 917 I.O. of PP Janjehli is investigating the case.
CASE OF CRIMINAL TRESPASS, HURT, RASH AND NEGLIGENT ACT AND CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION
3. Case FIR No. 47/16 dated 09/03/16 U/S 451, 323,336, 504, 506, 34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Gohar on the complaint of Smt. Guddi Devi W/O Sh. Ramesh Kumar R/O Sainj PO Khunachi Tehsil Thunag District Mandi (HP) that on 07/03/16 she was present her home alongwith her husband and their son namely Ashok Bharti, in the mean time Shiv Kumar, Karan Dass & Dault Ram resident of the same locality entered in her courtyard and beat her up and also threatened her with dire consequences. 4. Case FIR No. 32/16 dated 09/03/16 U/S 341, 323, 504 IPC has been registered in P.S. BSL Colony Sundernagar on the complaint of Sh. Vimal Verma S/O Sh. Chaman Lal R/O Lunapani PO Bhangrotu Tehsil Balh District Mandi (HP) that he is a Bus conductor with Bus ( HP 31B-7511). On 09/03/16 he was on duty with said Bus and he was present at Dhanotu with said bus, in the mean time Bus(HP31B-7515) which was driven by Sewak Ram S/O Sh. Bhagirath R/O Dodwa PO Bhojpur Tehsil Sundernagar District Mandi came there, obstructed his way and beat him up . HC Vinod Kumar No. 18 I.O.of P.S. BSL Colony Sundernagar is investigating the case.

5. Case FIR No. 33/16 dated 09/03/16 U/s 341, 323 IPC has been registered in P.S. BSL Colony Sundernagar on the complaint of Sh. Sewak Ram S/O Sh. Bhagirath R/O Dodwa PO Bhojpur Tehsil Sundernagar District Mandi that he is driver with Bus ( HP31B-7515). On 09/03/16 he was on duty with said bus on its route from Sundernagar towards Mandi and when they reached near Dhanotu where a Bus (HP31B-7511) was waiting for passengers at Dhanotu. On this he asked to the conductor namely Vimal Verma S/O Sh. Chaman Lal R/O Vill. Lunapani PO. Bhangrotu Tehsil Balh Distt Mandi (HP) that why your bus is standing here as this is the timing of their bus, in the mean time said conductor obstructed his way and beat him up . HC Vinod Kumar No. 18 I.O.of P.S. BSL Colony Sundernagar is investigating the case.
CASE OF MOLESTATION, OBSTRUCTIING WAY, HURT AND CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION
6. Case FIR No. 21/16 dated 10/03/16 U/S 354, 341, 323, 504, 506 IPC has been registered in P.S. Aut on the complaint of a lady R/O Phanyar PO Kalani Sub-Tehsil Balichowki Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 10/03/16 she was cutting the grass for her cattle in her field, in the mean time Lajje Ram S/O Karam Singh of the same locality came there and tried to outrage her modesty and when complainant cried for help, in the mean time her husband came there and Lajje Ram beat her up alongwith her husband and he also threatened them with dire consequences. 7. Case FIR No. 70/16 dated 09/03/16 U/S 341, 323 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Roop Lal @ Sanju S/O Sh. Prem Singh R/O Dolakh PO Bhangrotu Tehsil Balh District Mandi (HP) that on 09/03/16 he was coming to his home , in the mean time Rakesh Kumar @ Rakku obstructed his way and beat him up. ASI Tarsem Singh I.O. of P.S. Balh is investigating the case.
CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT
8. Case FIR No. 69/16 dated 09/03/16 U/S 279, 337 IPC & U/S 187 MV Act has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Sushil Kumar S/O Sh. Janku Ram R/O Barswahan Tehsil Balh District Mandi (HP) that on 09/03/16 he was going to his home and when he reached near Sasan , in the mean time a scooter(HP33-6634) came rashly and hit him and fled away from the spot. HC Raj Kumar No. 27 I.O. of PP Rewalsar is investigating the case.
CASE OF EXCISE ACT
9. Case FIR No. 26/16 dated 09/03/16 U/S 39 of HP Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Dharampur by SI Parveen Kumar SHO of P.S. Dharampur that he was on patrolling alongwith other police officials at Morla and during the patrolling he recovered 5 bottles of Country Liquor from the possession of Sanjay Kumar S/O Sh. Hari Chand R/O Morla PO Brang Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi (HP) . SI Praveen Kumar SHO of P.S. Dharampur is investigating the case.
CASE OF EXCISE ACT
10. Case FIR No. 27/16 dated 09/03/16 U/S 39 of HP Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Dharampur by SI Praveen Kumar SHO of P.S. Dharampur that he was on patrolling alongwith other police officials at Morla and during the patrolling he recovered 5 Bottles of Country Liquor from the possession of Sanjay Kumar S/O Sh. Narain Singh R/O Morla PO Barang Tehsil Sarkaghat District Mandi (HP). SI Parveen Kumar SHO of P.S. Dharampur is investigating the case.
CHALLANS
11. 171 Challans were issued under M.V.Act and fine of Rs. 22,100/- was recovered and 19 Challan was recovered under COTPA and fine of Rs. 1900/- was recovered and 4 Challans were issued under Mining Act and fine of Rs. 2500/- during last 24 hours.
