CLOSING OF WRESTLING CHAMPIONSHIP

On the occasion of closing ceremony of the  Wrestling Championship-2016 following matches  held   today at Paddal ground Mandi on the eve of International Mahashivratri Mahotsav, 2016:-   

            Sh. Devesh Kumar, Divisional Commissioner, Mandi was  chief guest on this occasion. Sh. Prem Kumar Thakur, IPS Superintendent of Police, Mandi (HP)-cum-Convener, Shivratri Fair Sports Sub Committee, District Mandi (HP) distributed the prizes and guraz  among the winners & runners of said wrestling championship.   

(I) "MANDI KUMAR" TITLE UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE GROUP

             Final Match  for "Mandi Kumar " title (below 18 years old age group)  held  between wrestler Sh. Mukesh  Kumar resident of Dhawal,  Sundernagar Vs wrestler Sh. Vijay  Kumar   resident of Kansa Chowk district Mandi (HP)  and wrestler Sh. Mukesh Kumar won the said title of "Mandi Kumar" by defeating wrestler Sh. Vijay Kumar. Cash prize amounting to Rs. 51,00/- along with guraz was given to the winner of "Mandi Kumar" title wrestler Sh. Mukesh Kumar, R/O Dhawal, Sundernagar Distt. Mandi   and cash prize amounting to Rs. 3000/- was given to the runner of above mentioned title wrestler Sh. Vijay Kumar.      

 

 (II) "HIMACHAL KUMAR" TITLE BELOW 21 YEARS OF AGE GROUP

            Final Match  for "Himachal  Kumar" title (below 21 years old age group)  held  between wrestler Sh. Sahil  resident of Nalagarh,  Distt. Solan  Vs wrestler Sh. Rajveer  resident of Dhawal, Sundernagar  district Mandi (HP)  and wrestler Sahil won the said title of "Himachal  Kumar" by defeating wrestler Sh. Rajveer. Cash prize amounting to Rs. 21,000/- along with guraz was given to the winner of "Himachal Kumar" title wrestler Sh. Sahil, R/O Nalaghar Distt. Solan (HP) and cash prize amounting to Rs. 15,000/- was given to the runner of above mentioned title wrestler Sh. Rajveer.

  

(III) "SHIVRATRI KESARI" TITLE (OPEN FOR ALL)  

            Final Match  for "Shivratri Kesari" title (open for all)  held  between wrestler Sh. Krishan resident of Sonipat, Haryana    Vs wrestler Sh. Suramu  resident of Hoshiarpur, (PB)  and wrestler Sh. Krishan resident of Sonipat, Haryana  won the said title of "Shivratri Kesari" by defeating wrestler Sh. Suramu. Cash prize amounting to Rs. 51,000/- along with guraz was given to the winner of "Shivratri  Kesari" title wrestler Sh. Krishan, R/O Sonipat, Haryana   and cash prize amounting to Rs. 35,000/- was given to the runner of above mentioned title wrestler Sh. Suramu.
