CRIME REPORT ON 6 DEC

WEBSITE LAUNCHED FOR ONLINE ENTIRES BY THE MINISTRY OF OVERSEAS INDIAN AFFAIRS, NEW DELHI TO BRING BACK MORTAL REMAINS OF THE EMIGRANTS WHO DIED ABROAD.

 1. Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs, Government of India launched a software module in their website www.moia.gov.in for tracking status online of bringing back mortal remains of the bringing back mortal remains of the emigrants who have died abroad. The concerned officials may be sensitized for enabling the public, who may approach them for helping out on the issue of bringing back the mortal remains for making entries in the above software module. Link for entries is available in above mentioned website. On completion of making such entries, the Indian Missions located in the destination country, from where the mortal remains required to be brought back, will start processing those cases for bringing back the mortal remains expeditiously. Moreover the applicants can also track the status and need be make additional entries in the system.

CASE OF CRUELTY BY HUSBAND AND HUSBAND'S RELATIVES

2. Case FIR No. 423/14 dated 05/12/14 U/S 498A, 323,34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat on the complaint of a lady resident of Hari PO Hari Behna Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi (HP) that she was married during the year 2012 with Manoj Kumar but after six months of her marriage, her in-laws started to harass her. ASI Roop Lal I.O. of P.S. Sarkaghat is investigating the case.

CASE OF EXCISE ACT

3. Case FIR No. 422/14 dated 05/12/14 U/S 39 of H.P. Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat by ASI Desh Raj I.O. of P.S. Sarkaghat that he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Lower Barot and during the course of patrolling he recovered 27 bottles of country liquor from the possession of Hem Raj S/O Sh. Polo Ram R/O Vill. Lower Barot PO Fatehpur Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi (HP).  ASI Desh Raj I. O. of P.S. Sarkaghat is investigating the case.

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

4. Case FIR No. 302/14 dated 05/12/14 U/S 279,337 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar on the complaint of  Rakesh Kumar  R/O Chhatter PO Jugahan Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi (HP) on 05/12/14 an unknown vehicle hit a M/Cycle  (HP31B-1509) and its rider Suresh Kumar S/O Sh. Ramesh Kumar R/O Trot sustained injuries. SI Kalyan singh I.O. of P.S. Sundernagar is investigating the case.  

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

5. Case FIR No. 162/14 dated 05/12/14 U/S 279,337 IPC has been registered in P.S. Karsog on the complaint of Sh. Nand Lal D/O Sh. Mohan Lal R/O Vill. Ghatta PO Kummi Tehsil Balh Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 05/12/14 he was going to Sundernagar by JCB (HP67-2838)  and when he reached at Jach said JCB fell down about 50 feet downward and two persons namely LeelaDhar and Rohit sustained injuries. HC Bhal Chand No. 542 I.O. of P.P. Pangna is investigating the case.

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

6. Case FIR NO. 172/14 dated 06/12/14 U/S 279,337 IPC has been registered in Gohar on the complaint of Sh. Vikram Puri S/O Sh. Yudhister Puri VPO Naubahi Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 05/12/14 he along with Dhiraj Kumar were going to Janjehali by a car (A/F) and when they reached near Majhakhal driver Dhiraj Kumar lost control over said car and it fell down from the road and driver Dhiraj Kumar sustained injuris. HC Sarwan Kumar sustained injuries. HC Sarwan Kumar No. 917 I.O. of P.P. Janjehali is investigating the case.

7. 151vehicles were challaned and compounded to Rs. 15,900/-    and 93 challans  made under COTPA & fined  Rs. 900/-.
