BEWARE FROM ADULTERATION
1. Due to ongoing festive season, adulteration in the sweets and other products is an area of concern. So Mandi Police request the general masses to be careful and watch out for any adulterated sweet/product/article/goods/eatable as this can affect the health. If any such case comes to the notice you are requested to report it immediately to the local police or food supply inspector so that action as per law against the defaulters can be initiated. Mandi Police is concerned for your good health and zero tolerance to these activities/ malpractices shall be observed.
ARREST OF PROCLAIMED OFFENDER
2. SI Sunil Kumar SHO P.S. Karsog arrested Lala Ram S/O Sh. Mansa Ram R/O Vill. Bharmada (Shahoti) PO Mahunag Tehsil Karsog Distt. Mandi (HP) who was wanted vide complaint No. 9-11/2011 under NIA Act and he was declared proclaimed offender on 11/09/2014 by the Ld court of JMIC Karsog.
ARREST OF PROCLAIMED OFFENDER
3. HC Bhal Chand No. 542 I.O. of P.S. Karsog arrested Narayan Singh S/O Sh. Bali Ram R/O village Lower Churasani PO Kutachi Sub Tehsil Nihari District Mandi (HP) who was wanted vide complaint No. 202/2011 under NIA Act and he was declared proclaimed offender on 17/09/2014 by the Ld court of JMIC Karsog.
CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY AND RIOTING
4. Case FIR No. 171/14 dated 14/10/14 U/S 341, 143 IPC has been registered in P.S. Jogindernagar by Insp. Amar Singh that today he was on patrolling alongwith other police officials at Jogindernagar and during the course of patrolling he found that a demonstration was organized by the activists of SFI of Govt. Degree College Jogindernagar in connection with hike in fee by the university at near Bus Stand which causing obstruction in the traffic near Bus Stand jogindernagar as well as general public. Insp. Amar Singh SHO of P.S. Jogindernagar is investigating the case.
CASE OF EXCISE ACT
5. Case FIR No. 233/14 dated 13/10/14 U/S 39 of HP Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar by ASI Shamdher Singh I.O. of P.S. Sundernagar that on 13/10/14 he was on patrolling alongwith other police officials at Sangahan during the course of patrolling he recovered 5000 ML Illicit Liquor & 10 Ltr. Lahan from the possession of Shyam Lal S/O Sh. Sant Ram R/O Sangahan P.O. Jugahan Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi (HP). ASI Shamsher I/O of P.S. Sundernagar is investigating the case.
CASE OF EXCISE ACT
6. Case FIR No. 136/14 dated 13/10/14 U/S 39 of HP Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Gohar by SI Naveen Jhalta SHO of P.S. Gohar that on 13/10/14 he was on patrolling alongwith other police officials at Jel and during the course of patrolling he recovered 18 Bottles of Country Liquor & 4 Bottles of English Wine from the possession of Tikkam Singh S/O Sh. Bir Singh R/O Jel P.O. Jacch Tehsil Chachiot Distt. Mandi (HP) . SI Naveen Jhalta SHO of P.S. Gohar is investigating the case. SI Naveen Jhalta SHO of P.S. Gohar is investigating the case.

7. Case FIR No. 137/14 dated 13/10/14 U/S 39 of HP Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Gohar by SI Naveen Jhalta SHO of P.S. Gohar that on 13/10/14 he was on patrolling alongwith other police officials at Dhangyara and during the course of patrolling he recovered 9 Bottles of English Wine from the possession of Puran Chand S/O Sh. Devi Ram R/O Dhangyara P.O. Jel Tehsil Chachiot Distt. Mandi (HP). SI Naveen Jhalta SHO of P.S. Gohar is investigating the case.
CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT
8. Case FIR No. 352/14 dated 14/10/14 U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat on the complaint of Jai Pal S/O Sh. Gumu Ram R/O Upper- Behri P.O. Kothuan Tehsil Sandhole Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 14/10/14 he along with Leela Devi, Jagat Ram, Amar Singh, Pawan Kumar& Sushil Kumar were travelling by Tractor(HP28A-1349) and when they reached near Baei Nala , in the mean time the driver of said Tractor lost control over it and rolled down on the road and all the occupants sustained injuries. ASI Desh Raj I.O. of P.S. Sarkaghat is investigating the case.
CHALLAN
9. 229 challans were issued and fine of Rs. 29,400/- was recovered under M.V. Act, 13 challans were issued under COTPA & fine of Rs. 130/- was recovered and 1 Challan was issued under Mining Act & fine of Rs. 4600/- was recovered during last 24 hours.
