1. Case FIR No. 24/12 dated 28/02/12 U/S 20 of NDPS Act has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar by SI Madan Lal that today he laid a nakka along with other police officials at Pung, in the mean time one person came on foot from Bilaspur side and on seeing police party he turned back at once and on suspicion he was caught with the help of police party and he revealed out his name & address as Jaspal Singh S/O Sh. Amarjeet Singh H. No. 2520/4 Mohalla Poolchakkar Roopnagar Tehsil & Distt. Roopnagar(PB) and recovered 800 gram cannabis (charas) from his possession in the presence of Sh. Ajay Rana SDPO Sundernagar. Accused has been arrested and further investigation of the case is on progress. SI Madan Lal I.O. of P.S. Sunderangar is investigating the case.
CASE OF ACCIDENT
2. Case FIR No. 23/12 dated 27/02/12 U/S 279,337 IPC & U/S 184 M.V. Act has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar on the complaint of Sh. Chhabi Ram S/O Sh. Tola Ram R/O Sarsaylu PO Gurkotha that on 27/02/12 he was on traffic duty at Tarot, in the mean time a swift car (HP31C-7506) came from Mandi side and a M/Cycle A/F of TVS make came from Sundernagar side and they collided with each other due to rash and negligent driving of M/Cycle rider and driver of above car. SI Madan Lal I.O. of P.S. Sundernagar is investigating the case.
CASE OF ACCIDENT
3. Case FIR No. 27/12 dated 28/02/12 U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in P.S. Jogindernagar on the complaint of Sh. Dulo Ram S/O Late Sh. Mehar Singh R/O Batehar PO Sainthal Tehsil Jogindernagar Distt. Mandi that on 09/011/11 at about 5 PM he was going to his home and when he reached at Kohra a car (HP33T-9278) came very rashly and negligently and hit him and he sustained injuries. Driver Joginder Singh S/O Sh. Surjan Singh R/O Dhelu PO Dohag Tehsil Jogindernagar Distt. Mandi assured him that he will pay all expenditure occurred on his treatment and he paid him only Rs. 16,300/- and thereafter he refused to pay the expenditure occurred on his treatment. HC Raj Mal I.O. of P.S. Jogindernagar is investigating the case.
CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY AND INTIMIDATION
4. Case FIR No. 17/12 dated 28/02/12 U/S 341, 504, 34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Aut on the complaint of Sh. Balwant Singh S/O Sh. Yog Raj R/O Vill. Kalichan PO Newual Tehsil Kullu Distt. Kullu that on 27/02/12 he was going back from Mandi to Newual along with Ramesh Thakurm Bhawani Thakur, Chet Ram by a vehicle (HP01K-0245) and when they reached at Shiladaral, in the mean time a pick up jeep (HP31-B0227) came there, obstructed their vehicle and driver of said jeep Rum Singh S/O Sh. Tot Chand R/O Kanoj PO Chattighat Distt. Mand and Gopal Singh S/O Sh. Dela Ram R/O Rahala PO Sayari Distt. Mandi beaten him up. HC Bhup Singh No. 870 I.O. of P.S. Aut is investigating the case.
CASE OF CAUSING FIRE BY NEGLIGENT ACT
5. Case FIR No. 38/12 dated 27/02/12 U/S 285 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi on the complaint of Sh. Kamlesh Kumar S/O Sh. Inder Singh village Ambla Tala PO Bhargoan Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi that on 27/02/12 Desh Raj, Bhupender Pal, Pradep Kumar went to their home and when they reached Ghuran, Desh Raj S/O Sh. Ghanshyam told them he had sodium metal if it is diluted in water reaction will take place. He diluted it in water and it reacted with a blast, due to which his face was brunt. ASI Sawarnroop Singh is investigated the case.

6. Balvinder Singh @ Mandeep Singh S/O Sh. Bhajan Singh R/O 4/01 Jawaharnagar Mandi has been arrested on 27/02/12 by SI (Prob) Sandeep Chaudhary in case FIR No. 29/12 dated 14/02/12 U/S 379 IPC of P.S. Sadar Mandi.

7. Today about 200 Anganwari workers demonstrated near SDM Office Karsog under the leadership of Banti Devi, President Anganwari Workers Union Karsog and handed over a memorandum to SDM Karsog regarding their demands.
