CASE OF MURDER

1. A case of murder (FIR No. 20/12 dated 19/02/12 U/S 302/201/34 IPC) has been registered in P.S. S/Nagar on the complaint of Sh. Sahil Singh S/O Late Sh. Manjeet Singh R/O Ward No. 6 Dakhri Tehsil Ghumarwin Distt. Bilaspur (HP) that on 18/02/12 his father went to attend a marriage ceremony at Bilaspur and when his father didn't came back from marriage ceremony, he make a call on his mobile but said call was forwarded. On 19/02/12 he received information from Police Post Dehar that a vehicle (HP69A-4444) was recovered from Satluj river. On this he reached at Dehar and saw that his father was lying dead inside his car and he suspects that some unknown persons killed his father and threw him along with his car in Satluj river. Inspr. Jagdish Chand SHO P.S. S/Nagar is investigating the case.

CASE OF HURT, OBSTRUCTING WAY, CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION

2. A case of wrongful restraint, hurt, insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace and criminal intimidation (case FIR No. 46/12 dated 20/02/12 U/S 341/323/504/506/34 IPC) has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Smt. Chuhari Devi W/O Sh. Shyamu R/O Vill. Tillu PO Brokhmani Distt. Mandi that on 19/02/12 she was going to her home, on the way Basakhu Ram, Smt. Sanehru Devi and Ram Lal obstructed her way and beaten her up. HC Ram Singh is investigating the case.

CHALLANS

3. 64 challans were issued and fine of Rs. 9,700/- was recovered under M.V. Act during the last 24 hours. 6 Challans were issued under Anti Smoking Campaign launched by the District Police Mandi under COTPA and fine of Rs. 600/- was recovered under COPTA Act during last 24 hours.
