CASE OF ACCIDENT

1. A case of road accident (case FIR No. 32/12 dated 17/02/12 U/S 279/337 IPC) has been registered in PS Sadar Mandi on the complaint of Smt. Bharti Thakur D/O Sh. Joginder Thakur R/O H. No. 154/5 Hospital Road Sarkaght Distt. Mandi that on 17/02/12 she along with her friend Banita was going  from Bari to Ghera by a scooty which went down the road after skidding on the road due to rash and negligent ridding by her friend Banita and they both sustained injuries.  ASI Sawarnroop Singh is investigating the case.

CASE OF THEFT

2. A case of theft (case FIR No. 33/12 dated 17/02/12 U/S 379 IPC) has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi on the written complaint of Sh. Luder Chand S/O Sh. Sawaru Ram R/O Vill. Kandhi  PO Saroa Tehsil Chachiot Distt. Mandi that he kept shuttering plates near PWD office Pandoh and Kapoor Singh parked the body of his tractor (HP32A-1841) at Tawa Raffi  which were stolen away by Raveen S/O Sh. Amar Nath R/O Teen Pippal Pndoh, Gian Chand S/O Sh. Brestu Ram R/O Ghar Kothi Pandoh and Puran Chand S/O Sh. Mani Ram R/O Upper Pandoh that  during the intervening night of 14-15/02/12 having total approximately value of Rs. 40,000/-. ASI Ram Lal I/C PP Pandoh is investigating the case.

CASE OF HURT AND WRONGFUL ACT

3. A case of wrongful restraint & hurt (case FIR No. 34/12 dated 17/02/12 U/S 341/323 IPC) has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi on the complaint of Sh. Beli Ram S/O Sh. Paras Ram R/O Vill. Dhawan PO Kot Tungal Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi that on 17/02/12 Ludar Mandi S/O Sh. Shankar Ram R/O Vill. Dhawan obstructed his way and beat him up. HC Shiv Singh No. 894 P.S. Sadar Mandi is investigating the case.

CASE OF BURGLARY

4. A case of burglary (case FIR No. 35/12 dated 18/02/12 U/S 457/380 IPC) has been registered in PS Sarkaghat on the complaint of Sh. Krishan Chand S/O Sh. Tholu Ram R/O Vill. Haryali Tanda PO Bhambla Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi that during the intervening night of 17-18/02/12 some unknown culprits stolen away golden ornaments of worth Rs. 75,000/- from his house. ASI Ajit Singh is investigating the case.

CASE OF HURT AND OBSTRCUTING WAY

5. A case of wrongful restraint, hurt (case FIR No. 19/12 dated 17/02/12 U/S 341/323 IPC) has been registered in P.S. S/Nagar on the complaint of Sh. Het Ram S/O Sh. Nathu Ram R/O Bhojpur Tehsil S/Nagar Distt. Mandi that on 17/02/12 he was going to his house on the way Bam Dev obstructed his way and beat him up. HC Chaman Lal No. 12 I.O. of P.S. S/Nagar is investigating the case.

ARREST UNDER PREVENTIVE SECTIONS OF LAW

6. Shantosh Kumar S/O Sh. Karmu Ram VPO Dehar Tehsil S/Nagar Distt. Mandi has been arrested on 17/02/12 U/S 107/151 Cr.P.C. who is being produced before the court of SDM S/Nagar Mandi.

ROAD SAFETY CLUB MEETING

7. Today road safety club meeting was organized in PS BSL Colony S/Nagar in which about 200 students participated. They were made aware about the traffic rules and    functioning of police station. Similarly, 50 students of DAV Public Sr. Sec. School Nerchowk visited the PS Balh and they were made aware about traffic rules and signals and followed by the refreshment.

CHALLANS

8. 76 challan were issued and fine of Rs. 9,000/- was recovered under M.V. Act during the last 24 hours.  16 Challans were carried out under Anti Smoking Campaign launched by   the District Police Mandi  under  COTPA and fine of Rs. 17,00/- was recovered under COPTA Act during last 24 hours and 1 challan was issued under Mining Act during last 24 hours.
