CASE OF ACCIDENT

1. Case FIR No. 15/12 dated 22/02/12 U/S 279/337/304A IPC has been registered in P.S. Aut on the complaint of Sh. Khube Ram S/O Sh. Dhandu Ram R/O Jugani PO Kalhani Tehsil Thunag Distt. Mandi that he was going on foot to his home and when he reached at Kashour road, in the mean time a car (HP33A-6711) came from Pandoh side very rashly and fell down about 400 meters downward due to which three occupants namely Smt. Shavitri Devi W/O Sh. Pune Ram R/O Gumnag PO Shikabri Tehsil Thunag Distt. Mandi age 45 years old, Krishan Lal S/O Sh. Ram Dass R/O Kashour PO Kholanala Sub Tehsil Balichowki age 32 years old and Geeta Prakash S/O Sh. Paras Ram R/O Parnala PO Gadagusaini Sub Tehsil Balichowki Distt. Mandi age 40 years died on the spot whereas Smt. Jayotsana Gupta W/O Sh. Anil Gupta R/O H. No. 113/5 Mahajan Bazaar Mandi and Sh. Som Dutt S/O Sh. Annant Ram R/O H. No. 156/13 Paddal Distt. Mandi sustained injuries who were admitted to Z.H. Mandi. ASI Ashwani Kumar I/C PP Bali Chowki is investigating the case.

CASE OF ACCIDENT

2. Case FIR No. 25/12 dated 21/02/12 U/S 279/337 IPC and 187 MV Act has been registered in P.S. J/Nagar on the complaint of Sh. Bhim Singh S/O Sh. Moni Ram R/O Vill. Garauru PO & Tehsil J/Nagar Distt. Mandi that he was present in his shop, in the mean time a child namely Kaku @ Abhaya Kumar S/O Sh. Surinder Pal came there and a vehicle (PB07V-6401) hit him and sped away from the spot. SI Rajinder Kumar I.O. of PS Jogindernagar is investigating the case.

CASE OF ACCIDENT

3. Case FIR No. 49/12 dated 21/02/12 U/S 279/337 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Parma Nand S/O Sh. Naukhu Ram R/O Mundaru PO Taroh Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi that on 21/02/12 he was going along with his wife by his M/Cycle (HP33A-2356) and when he reached at Ratti another M/Cycle (HP33A-4420) came from Galma side and hit his M/Cycle, he along with his wife fell down on the road and they both sustained injuries. HC Ram Singh No. 66 is investigating the case.

CASE OF BURGLARY

4. Case FIR No. 24/12 dated 21/02/12 U/S 457/380 IPC has been registered in P.S. Karsog on the complaint of Sh. Kushal Singh S/O Sh. Chhotu Ram R/O Vill. Kewidhar PO Tevan Tehsil Karsog Distt. Mandi that he is student of 10+1 class of GSS Karsog Distt. Mandi and he reside in a rented room in the house of Suba Ram S/O Sh. Findu Ram Vill. Kanni PO Karsog. On 20/02/12 he went to his native place and on 21/02/12 when he came back he found that some unknown culprits stolen his house hold items along with cash of worth Rs. 3000/- and total approximately value of stole property is about Rs. 16,000/-. SI SHO Trilok Chand is investigating the case. 

CASE OF INQUEST

5. Sukh Ram S/O Sh. Gokal R/O Majher PO Kamlah Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi aged 60 years old died due to consumption of excessive quantity of alcohol. Postmortem of dead body was carried out at CH Sarkaghat and proceeding U/S 174 Cr.P.C. has also been carried out by the local police of PS Sarkaghat..

6. Accused Sunita Devi W/O Sh. Naresh Chandel VPO Gutkar Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi, Naresh Kumar @ Ashok Kumar S/O Sh. Jagdish Chand R/O Kusla PO Jai Devi Tehsil S/Nagar Distt. Mandi, Anil Kumar S/O Sh. Rattan Chand R/O VPO Seel Tehsil Dehra Distt. Kangra, Suresh Kumar S/O Sh. Acchru Ram R/O Vill. Salag PO Jukhala Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi, Sanju S/O Sh. Thihnu Ram R/O Ambedkar Nagar PO Bhojpur Tehsil S/Nagar Distt. Mandi and Bhaskar @ Lucky S/O Sh. Naresh Chandel VPO Gutkar Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi have been arrested in case FIR No. 20/12 dated 20/02/12 U/S 302/201/34 IPC and these all accused have been ordered to 7 days police remand. All accused persons will be produced again on 28/02/12 before the Ld. Court of JMIC-2 on 28/02/12.  

CHALLANS

7. 44 challans were issued and fine of Rs. 3,200/- was recovered under M.V. Act during the last 24 hours.  3 Challans were carried out under Anti Smoking Campaign under COTPA and fine of Rs. 700/- was recovered.
