Gulabi Devi W/o Sh. Shankar Dass R/O VPO Sainj Bagra Tehsil Karsog Distt. Mandi that Kathu Ram S/O Sh. Sangat Ram, Het Ram S/O Sh. Sangat Ram, Sangat Ram S/O Sh. Tegu Ram, Sarshwati W/O Sh. Kathu Ram, Shanti Devi W/O Sh. Sangat Ram, Maghi Devi D/O Sh. Sangat Ram and Anar Kali D/O Sh. Sangat Ram Kathu Ram entered in her land and destroyed the boundary of laid by her to her land in the presence of members of Gram Panchayat and also threatened to her. ASI Sohan Lal I.O. of P.S. 2. A case of theft (case FIR No. 09/12 dated 16/02/12 U/S 379/34 IPC) has been registered in P.S. Gohar on the complaint of Yeshwant Kumar S/O Sh. Tawaru Ram R/O Vill. Jabras PO Nihri Sub Tehsil Nihri Distt. Mandi that during the intervening night of 15-16/02/12, Ravin Kumar S/O Sh. Amar Chand R/O vill. Teen Pipal PO Pandoh Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi, Puran Chand S/O Sh. Mangat Ram R/O Upper Pandoh Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi and Gian Chand S/O Sh. Brestu Ram R/O Vill. Dhar PO Kothi Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi stolen away 16 Nos. iron plates of M/S Perfect Farma having approximately cost of Rs. 36,000/- from Koot. ASI Ram Krishan I.O. of P.S. Gohar is investigating the case. The case property has been recovered and accused arrested.

3. Ravin Kumar S/O Sh. Amar Chand R/O vill. Teen Pipal PO Pandoh Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi, Puran Chand S/O Sh. Mangat Ram R/O Upper Pandoh Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi and Gian Chand S/O Sh. Brestu Ram R/O Vill. Dhar PO Kothi Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi have been arrested today U/S 41(2) 109 Cr. P. C. today at 4 AM from Chailchowk who are being produced today before the court of the SDM Gohar.

4. Today HHC Bhuri Singh No. 337 and Const. Rafique Mohammad No. 692 of P.S. Padhar arrested Ravinder Singh S/O Sh. Kishan Singh R/O Sajehar PO Nauhli Tehsil Jogindernagar (HP) who was an army deserter and is being handed over to authority of Indian Army at Holta Tehsil Palampur Distt. Kangra for further action.

5. A case of criminal trespass, hurt, mischief, insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace and criminal intimidation (case FIR No. 24/12 dated 16/02/12 U/S 452/323/427/504/506/34 IPC) has been registered in P.S. J/Nagar on the complaint of Sh. Prakash Chand S/O Sh. Jahru Ram R/O Vill. Badiyar PO Bhargaon Tehsil J/Nagar Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 15/02/12 he closed the shop of liquor, in the mean time Nag R/O Chalarag abused him. After some time he went to his home and at about 10.45 PM Nag along with his son Sheellu, Neelu S/O Sh. Dharam Singh and other 6/7 persons came in his house and beat him up along with his another associate Sanjay and both of them sustained injuries. ASI Subhash Chand I/C PP Bassi is investigating the case.
CASE OF SEIZURE OF LEOPARD SKIN
6. A case of offences under wild life protect Act (case FIR No. 30/12 dated 16/02/12 U/S 51 of Wild Life Protection Act) has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi by SI Salim Qureshi I/O of P.S. Sadar Mandi that he laid a nakka along with other police officials at Sukki bain, in the mean time two persons came on foot from Pandoh side towards Mandi with a bag and during the course of checking of their bag he recovered two pieces of skin of leopard. Later on they were identified as Moti Ram S/O Sh. Laje Ram R/O Vill. Khalra Distt. Mandi and Munish R/O Upper Pandoh who were arrested in this case. SI Slim Qureshi is investigating the case.

7. A case of criminal breach of trust (case FIR No. 44/12 dated 16/02/12 U/S 409 IPC) has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sr. Supdt. Post Office Mandi Division Mandi that Sh.Hamender Gupta S/O Sh. Prakash Chand Chauhan Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi Gramin Dak Sewak of Branch Chunahan misappropriated govt. money deposited in the shape of RDs. amounting to Rs. 14830/-. SI Chhota Ram of P.S. Balh is investigating the case.
VISIT TO POLICE STATION BY SCHOOL CHILDERN
8. 50 students of Modern Public School Ratti visited P.S. Balh to study about the traffic rules with the help of local police of P.S. Balh.

Baroi PO Paunta Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi obstructed her way and beat her up. HC Baldev Singh I.O. of PP. Hattli is investigating the case.

A case of criminal trespass, rioting, insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace and criminal intimidation (case FIR No. 31/12 dated 15/02/12 U/S 447/451/147/149/504/506 IPC) has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat Distt. on the complaint of Sanjay Kumar S/O Sh. Prabhu Ram R/O Vill. Chandesh Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi that Ishwar Dass and his family members forcibly occupied their land and also constructing a structure of bamboo with the intention to grab their land and they also threatened him and his family. HC Narpat Ram No. 886 I.O. of P.S. Sarkaghat is investigating the case.
VISIT OF SCHOOL CHILDERN TO POLICE STATION
11. Today 50 students of Govt.Sr. Sec. School visited the P.S. Sarkaghat and local police of P.S. Sarkaghat to know about the working of Police Station i.e. registration of FIR etc and they were also taught about the adverse effects of the drugs and alcohol etc.
CHALLANS UNDER MV ACT, ANTI-SMOKING AND MINING ACT
12. Today 85 challan were carried and fine of Rs. 13,950/- was recovered under M.V. Act during the last 24 hours. 15 Challans were carried out under Anti Smoking Campaign launched by the District Police Mandi under COTPA and fine of Rs. 15,00/- was recovered under COPTA Act during last 24 hours and 2 challans were carried under Mining Act during last 24 hours.
