CASE OF ACCIDENTAL DEATH

1. Case FIR No. 22/12 dated 26/02/12 U/S 279, 304A IPC has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar on the written complaint of Sh.Bhagat Ram S/O Sh. Govind Ram R/O Thana PO Khakhrain Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi that on 18/02/12 his brother-in-law Jagmohan Sharma was going from his home Riwalsar to Bilaspur by his van (HP24A-0119) and when he reached near Naulkha his van was hit by a vehicle (HP31-5130) and both parties compromised on the same day. His brother-in-law sustained injuries and admitted to Sai Hospital Tarout from where he was referred to IGMC Shimla where he succumbed to his injuries. SI Madan Lal is investigating the case.

CASE OF ACT ENDANGERING HUMAN LIFE AND MINING ACT

2. Case FIR No. 27/12 dated 25/02/12 U/S 336 IPC and U/S 53 of Mines and Mineral Act has been registered in P.S. Karsog on the complaint of Mining Guard Pangna Tehsil Karsog Distt. Mandi that Dharam Singh S/O Sh. Devi Saran R/O Vill. Bali PO Behli Tehsil Karsog Distt. Mandi dug a 31 feet long and 44 feet wide & 80 feet deep hole on his land to sell the sand illegally which caused danger to the general public of the locality. ASI Jhabe Ram I/C PP Pangna is investigating the case.

CASE OF ACT ENDANGERING HUMAN LIFE AND MINING ACT

3. Case FIR No. 28/12 dated 25/02/12 U/S 336 IPC and U/S 53 of Mining Act has been registered in P.S. Karsog on the written complaint of Mining Guard Pangna that Mehar Chand S/O Sh. Devi Saran R/O Vill. Bali PO Behli Tehsil Karsog Distt. Mandi dug a 105 feet long 49 feet wide and 10 feet deep hole on his land to sell the sand illegally which caused danger to the general public of the locality. ASI Jhabe Ram I/C PP Pangna is investigating the case.

CASE OF ACCIDENTAL DEATH

4. Case FIR No. 29/11 dated 25/02/12 U/S 279,337,304A IPC has been registered in P.S. Karsog on the written complaint of Sh. Baldev Chand S/O Sh. Dagu Ram R/O Vill. Batala Behli Tehsil Karsog Distt. Mandi that on 25/02/12 he was present in his home, in the mean time he heard a loud sound on the road side. On this he went on the spot along with other people of the locality and saw that a Maruti Car (HP02M-0179) fell down about 70-80 feet downward. Driver Nikka Ram S/O Sh. Dhani Ram R/O Vill. Sanarli PO Bhanthal Tehsil Karsog along with another occupant Jai Ram S/O Sh. Jinu Ram R/O Vill. Lathari PO Bhnathal were rescued from the spot and both were brought to C.H. Karsog for treatment where driver Nikka Ram succumbed to his injuries and Jai Ram was referred to IGMC Shimla by the M.O. of C.H. Karsog. SI Trilok Chand SHO P.S. Karsog is investigating the case.

CASE OF OUTRAGING MODESTY, OBSTRUCTING WAY AND CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION

5. Case FIR No38/12 dated 26/2/2012 U/S 341,354,506 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat on the complaint of Smt. Urmila Devi W/O Sh. Gain Chand Vill. Tharu PO Kangu-Ka-Gehra Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt Mandi that on 25/2/12 at about 12.30 P.M she was going from Cholthara bazaar to her house and on the way Sandeep Kumar S/O Jaswant Singh Vill. Digo PO Cholthra Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt Mandi obstructed her way and tried to outrage her modesty and also threatened her with dire consequences. ASI Mohinder Singh I/O PS Sarkaghat is investigating the case.

6. 61 challans were issued and fine of Rs. 8,200/- was recovered under M.V. Act during the last 24 hours.  3 Challans were issued under COTPA and fine of Rs. 300/- was recovered.
