SPORTS EVENTS DURING SHIVRATRI 2012

In view of International Shivratri Fair 2012, Sports Committee of International Shivratri Fair Mandi is going to organize following events at Paddal Stadium Mandi:-

(i)                 State level kabaddi event (male) w.e.f. 22/02/12 to 24/02/12 at 10.30 AM to 3 PM daily. Prize amount for winner team is Rs. 15,000/- and runner up team is Rs. 11000/-.  

(ii)               District level volleyball event(male) w.e.f. 21/02/12 to 23/02/12 at 10.30AM to 3 PM daily. Prize amount for winner team is Rs. 10,000/- and runner up team is Rs. 8000/-

(iii)             District level basketball event (male) w.e.f. 22/02/12 to 24/02/12 at 10.30 AM to 3 PM daily. Prize amount for winner team is Rs. 8,000/- and runner up team is Rs. 6,000/-

(iv)             District level chess (open). Prize amount for winner in Sr. category is Rs. 21,00/-,  runner up is Rs. 1500/- and third team is Rs. 1100/-.  Prize amount for winner in Jr. category is Rs. 700/-,  runner up is Rs. 500/- and third is Rs. 300/-.      

(v)               District level tug of war event (female) w.e.f. 26/02/12 to 27/02/12 at 1 PM onwards daily. Prize amount for winner team is Rs. 5100/- and runner up team is 4100/-.

(vi)                Wrestling event (male) w.e.f. 25/02/12 to 27/02/12 at 10.30 AM onwards daily. Prize amount for winner in Sr. category is Rs. 31,000/- and  runner up   is Rs. 25,000/-.  Prize amount for winner in Jr. category (under 21 years) of “Himachal Kumar”  is Rs. 15,000/-  and  runner up  is Rs. 11,000/- 

            Different sports activities among the students of nursery to 7^th classes are also being held at Paddal Ground Mandi which is the main attraction of this program. Judo event is also included in this category.

            

CASE OF KIDNAPPING

A case of kidnapping, abduction and criminal intimidation (U/S 363/366/506 IPC) has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat on the complaint of Sh. Lal Singh S/O Sh. Udho Ram R/O Vill. Kharsal PO Paunta Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi that on 09/02/12 his daughter Jayoti went to school at Paunta but she didn’t come back and he received information that Baldev S/O Sh. Nanak R/O Vill. Kharsal PO Paunta Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi kidnapped his daughter. Police is investigating the case.

CASE OF HURT, OBSTRUCTING WAY

A case of wrongful restraint, hurt and insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace (U/S 341/323/504/34 IPC) has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat on the complaint of Smt. Kala Devi W/O Dharam Chand R/O Vill. Tung PO Bahanu Tehsil Sarkagaht Distt. Mandi that Hem Raj S/O Sh. Khem Chand resident of same locality obstructed her way and beat her up. Police is investigating the case.

CASE OF HURT AND RIOTING

A case of rioting, hurt and insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace (U/S 147/149/323/504 IPC) has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Smt. Tara Devi W/O Sh. Hem Raj R/O Vill. Khandla PO Kummi Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi that on 12/02/12 her father-in-law was working in his fields, in the mean time Het Ram, Harish Kumar, Rukki Devi, Rami Devi, Om Chand and Chand Ram came there and beat him up. Police is investigating the case.

CASE OF HURT, OBSTRUCTING WAY

A case of wrongful restraint and hurt (U/S 341/323/34 IPC) has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Smt. Rami Devi W/O Sh. Mohan Lal Saini R/O Vill. Khandla PO Kummi Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi that on 12/02/12 at about 6 PM she was working in her land, in the mean time Tara Devi and Rattan Chand came there and beat her up and she sustained injuries. Police is investigating the case.

CASE OF ACCIDENT

A case of road accident (U/S 279/337 IPC) has been registered in P.S. J/Nagar by ASI Govind Pal I/C PP Ladbharol that he received an information that a tractor (HP29-1992) fell down from the road at Kenchimore in Kathon to Panjalag link due to rash and negligent driving of driver Nutan S/O Sh. Tula Ram and admitted to CHC Ladbharol. Police is investigating the case.

CASE OF THEFT

A case of theft (U/S 379 IPC) has been registered in P.S. Aut on the complaint of Sh. Dhya Singh S/O Sh. Prem Singh R/O Vill. Badagrain PO Panihar Tehsil Banzar Distt. Kullu (HP) at present security guard Om Metal SPML (JV) Panarsa that today at about 05.45 AM he checked the store and found that during the intervening night of 12-13/02/12 some unknown culprits had stolen away 35 Stiffen Plates having approximately cost of Rs. 2,49,900/-. Efforts are afoot to nab the culprits and recover the stolen property.


ARREST IN PREVIOUS CASE



A case FIR No. 166/11 dated 10/12/11 U/S 363/366A IPC was registered in P.S. Aut on the
written complaint of Sh. Hukam Ram S/O Sh. Surat Ram R/O Vill. Sevanal PO Panarsa Sub Tehsil Aut
Distt. Mandi that he has reported on 29/11/11 in P.S. Aut but police has not been registered any case till
date. His daughter studies in 7th class who was kidnapped by Smt. Magi Devi resident of Takoli and he also
suspects that some others are involved in this kidnapping. On this above case FIR was registered. On
13/12/2012 police has arrested accused Smt. Magi Devi W/O Late Sh. Prem Singh R/O Vill.
Takoli PO Nagwain Sub Tehsil Aut Distt. Mandi from Takoli and Ajay Kumar S/O Sh. Pratap Chand R/
O Vill. Bajrol PO Sujanpur Tehsil Sujanpur Tihra Distt. Hamirpur (HP) who were produced before the
Ld. Court of JMIC-IV at Mandi and the Ld. Court awarded two days police remand. During the course
of investigation Ajay Kumar revealed that he had paid Rs. 80,000/- to Smt. Magi Devi.
