Today
JCC-cum-crime meeting of district Mandi was held in Kamaksha hall at P.L. Mandi in which police officials of all Police Stations and Police Posts participated.
CASE OF CHEATING
A
case of cheating (U/S 420 IPC) has been registered in P.S. Sarkagaht on the
written complaint of Smt. Tara Devi W/O Sh. Shakti Chand VPO Gahar Tehsil
Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi that Roshan Lal
S/O Sh. Sarf R/O H. No. 52 Muhal Guard PO,Tehsil & Distt. Chamba came on
10/07/11 in her house and induced her to paid him sum of Rs. 45000/- with promise that he
will provide wooden logs to her against above mentioned amount. On this she
paid him amount of Rs. 45000/- but he didn’t deliver any wooden log till date
to her. Similarly he cheated other 7 persons namely Smt. Leela Devi, S/Sh.
Ranjeet Singh, Hardwari Lal, Ranvir Singh,
Balbir Singh, Ramesh Chand and Subhash Chand of the locality. Police is
investigating the case.
