1       International  Shivratri Fair Committee  headed  by Sh. Mohit Chawla, IPS worthy  Superintendent of Police , District Mandi  is   organizing  sports  activities  on  the eve  of International Shivratri  Fair 2015 w.e.f. 01/02/15 to  24 /02/15  at   Paddal   Ground  Mandi . Sh P.L. Thakur , IPS, worthy  Inspector  General of Police, Central Range Mandi  will  preside  over the opening ceremony on  01/02/2015   11  AM onwards . Sh. Sandeep Kadam , IAS,  worthy  Deputy  Commissioner Mandi  alongwith other  senior officers of  District  Administration   Mandi   shall also  grace  the occasion.     Citizens are cordially invite  to attend  the opening ceremony  on  01/02/15  at 11 AM  at Paddal  ground  Mandi  as well as  watch  the events  at Paddal ground  Mandi  w.e.f.01/02/2015 to 24/02/15  as per  attached schedule

CASE   OF  EXCISE ACT

2          Case FIR No. 14/15 dated 30/01/15  U/S 39 of HP Excise Act has been registered in P.S.  Gohar  by  SI  Lal Sin gh  SHO of P.S. Gohar   that on 30/01/15  he was on  patrolling  alongwith  other police officials at  Mandhu Nal and  during the course of patrolling he recovered  8 bottles of   Country Liquor  from the possession  of  Pawan  Kumar  S/O Sh. Kanshi Ram  R/O  Kuthachi PO  Sukki Bai Tehsil Balh  Distt. Mandi (HP) .  SI  Lal Singh  SHO of  P.S.  Gohar is investigating the case.

CASE OF  NDPS ACT

3          Case FIR No. 44/15 dated 31/01/15  U/S  20 of NDPS  Act has been registered in  P.S.  Sundernagar  by  HC  Chaman Lal  No. 12  I.O. of  P.S. Sundernagar   that on 31/01/15  he  laid a nakka  alongwith other police officials at  Pungh  and  during the course of   checking of  Vehicle (CH01D-4009)  he recovered  410  Gram  Charas (Cannabis) from the possession of  Hemant S/O Sh. Uttam Parkash  R/O  A-22 Navjeeven Camp  Gobindpuri Kalkaji  Aali (South  Delhi) .  HC  Chaman  Lal  No. 12  I.O. of P.S. Sundernagar is investigating the case.

CASE   OF MISCHEIF

4          Case FIR No. 43/15  dated 30/01/15  U/S 436  IPC has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar on the complaint of  Smt.  Kamla Devi   W/O Sh. Sant Ram  R/O  Katwali PO  Kalahod Tehsil  Sundernagar Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 30/01/15  some  unknown  person   set her house on fire and estimated    loss of property  is  Rs  2.50 Lakh.  ASI  Sghamsher Singh  I/O of P.S. Sundernagar  is investigating the case.

CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY , HURT  AND CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION

5          Case FIR No. 38/15  dated 30/01/15  U/S 341, 323, 504, 506, 34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat  on the complaint of  Sh.  Krishan Chand  S/O Sh. Nathu Ram  R/O  Chandpur PO  Khouda Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi (HP)   that on  29/01/15  Sunil   Kumar  came  alongwith his friends   and  beat him  up and also threatened with dire consequences.  ASI   Suresh  Chand  I.O. of P.S. Sarkaghat is investigating the case.

   CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

 6         Case FIR No. 39/15  dated 31/01/15  U/S  279, 337  IPC has been registered in  P.S. Sarkaghat on the complaint of Sh. Sohan Lal S/O Sh. Pohlo Ram  R/O  Ghori PO  Samila Tehsil  Baldwara  Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 30/01/15  a Tata Sumo  (HP28A-0570)  came rashly  and hit  his  father  and  his father  sustained injuries.  HC  Chaman   Lal  No. 28 I.O. of PP Hatli  is investigating the case.

CASE OF CRIMINAL  TRESPASS AND  CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION

7       Case FIR No. 22/15 dated 30/01/15  U/S 447, 506,434 , 34 IPC has been registered in P.S.   Karsog  on the complaint of Sh. Prem Singh  S/O Sh. Dila Ram  R/O  Katahach  PO Sorashan Tehsil Karsog  Distt. Mandi (HP)   that  Bega Ram  &  Mann Dass  entered in his  land  and  also  threatened with dire consequences.  ASI   Amar Nath I/C of PP Pangna is investigating  the case.

 CASE  OF CRIMINAL  TRESPASS , HURT  AND MISCHIEF

 8         Case FIR No. 23/15 dated 31/01/15 U/S 451, 323, 427 IPC has been registered in P.S.   Karsog  on the complaint of   Smt.  Parwati   Devi  W/O Sh. Mani  Ram  R/O  Kupsham PO  Kao Tehsil  Karsog  Distt. Mandi  that on 31/01/15  when she was present on  her  shop  in the   mean time  Amin  Chand  S/O Sh. Hirdu Ram  R/O  Fanani PO  Kao   entered  her   shop  and  beat  her up and she sustained  injuries.  HC   Ranjeet Singh  No. 71  I.O. of P.S.  Karsog is investigating the case.

CHALLAN

  9        144 Challans  was issued under    M.V. Act    and  fine of Rs.24,700 /- was  recovered  and 13 challans  was issued  under COTPA and  fine of Rs. 1300/-   was recovered  during last 24 hours.
