NOTIFICATION TO MANAGE THE TRAFFIC DURING INTERNATIONAL SHIVRATRI FAIR 2016
- In view to manage the traffic smoothly during the forthcoming International Shivratri Fair 2016, Mandi Police proposed comprehensive traffic plan to the Deputy Commissioner, District Mandi (HP) and the Deputy Commissioner, Mandi notified the traffic plan vide Notification No. MND-Peshi-RA/2016-8115 dated 29/02/2016. Copy of said Notification is enclosed herewith for publication in all daily leading news papers.
CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT
- Case FIR No. 29/16 dated 01/03/16 U/s 279, 337 IPC has been registered in P.S. BSL Colony Sundernagar on the complaint of Sh. Dina Nath S/O Sh. Puran Chand R/O Kainchari PO Baggi Tehsil Balh District Mandi (HP) that on 01/03/16 he was going to home by Motor Cycle (HP33D-4678) and his friend namely Naresh Kumar & Hem Rah were also going by their Motor Cycle(HP33C-5709) and when they reached near tail control , in the mean time a Vehicle(HR55S-0182) came rashly from Mandi side and hit to Motor Cycle (HP33C-5709) as a result rider along with pillion rider sustained injuries. HC Ram Lal No. 543 I.O. of P.S. BSL Colony Sundernagar is investigating the case.

3. Case FIR No. 58/16 dated 01/03/16 U/s 325, 323, 34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat on the complaint of Sh. Sudesh Kumar S/O Sh. Shiv Ram R/O Fatehpur Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 25/02/16 two unknown persons beat him up and he sustained injuries. SI Manmohan Singh I.O. of P.S. Sarkaghat is investigating the case.
CASE OF HURT AND CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION
4. Case FIR No. 59/16 dated 01/03/16 U/s 325, 323 , 506 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat on the complaint of Smt. Vimla Devi W/O Sh. Kishore Chand R/O Narola Tehsil Baldwara Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 29/02/16 her daughter-in-law namely Santosh Kumar beat her up and she sustained injuries. SI Ashwani Kumar I/C of PP Hatli is investigating the case.
CASE OF MOLESTATION AND CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION
5. Case FIR No. 60/16 dated 02/03/16 U/S 354, 354(A) , 504 , 506 ,34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat on the complaint of a lady resident of Bada Samahal PO Gahar Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi (HP) that Kartar Singh & Shakti Singh tried to outrage her modesty and they also threatened her with dire consequences . ASI Rajesh Kumar I.O. of P.S. Sarkaghat is investigating the case.
CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT
6. Case FIR No. 59/16 dated 01/03/16 U/S 279, 337 & U/S 187 MV Act has been registered in P.S. Sadar on the complaint of Sh. Jai Singh S/O Sh. Het Ram R/O Murah Po Thachi Sub- Tehsil Bali Chowki Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 01/03/16 he was going to his home and when he reached near Monal Hotel , in the mean time a Motor Cycle came rashly and hit to him and sped away from the spot . HC Sanjeev Kumar No. 32 I.O. of PP City is investigating the case.
CASE OF EXCISE ACT
7. Case FIR No. 60/16 dated 01/03/16 U/S 39 of HP Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Sadar by Insp. Ranjeet Singh I/C CIA Mandi that on 01/03/16 he was on patrolling at Niyul and during the course of patrolling he recovered 17 Bottles of Country Liquor from the possession of Devi singh S/O Nag Ram R/O Niyul PO Ghran Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi (HP). Insp. Ranjeet Singh I/C of CIA Mandi is investigating the case.
CASE OF CRIMINAL TRESPASS, MOLESTATION AND CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION
8. Case FIR No. 63/16 dated 01/03/16 U/S 451, 354 , 504, 506, 34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of a lady R/O Tanda PO Balt Tehsil Balh Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 01/03/16 Bhup Singh entered in her courtyard and tried to outrage her modesty and he also threatened her with dire consequences and sped away from the spot. ASI Rajender Thakur is investigating the case.
CHALLANS
- 267 Vehicles were challaned under M.V.Act and fine of Rs. 41,600/- was recovered and 17 Challans under COTPA Act and fine of Rs. 1700/- was recovered and 3 challans were issued under Mining Act and fine of Rs. 7000 /- was recovered during last 24 hours.
