CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT
1 Case FIR No. 49/16 dated 20/03/16 U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in P.S. Jogindernagar by HC Rajmal No. 845 I.O. of P.S. Jogindernagar that on receiving a telephonic information he rushed to the spot at Gadyara and found that a Motor Cycle( HP29A-6186) met with an accident due to rash and negligent riding by Vikram Thakur S/O Sh. Harbansh Singh R/O Pahloon PO Jalpehar Tehsil Jogindernagar District Mandi (HP) aged 23 years old . In this accident said rider along with pillion rider namely Munish Kumar S/O Parshotam Singh R/O Danag Baduha Tehsil Baijnath District Kangra aged 19 years old sustained injuries. HC Rajmal No. 875 I.O. of P.S. Jogindernagar is investigating the case.
CASE OF KIDNAPPING
2 Case FIR No. 52/16 dated 20/03/16 U/S 363 IPC has been registered in P.S. Gohar on the complaint of a person R/O Dari PO Chailchowk Tehsil Chachiot District Mandi (HP) that on 19/03/16 at about 8:30 AM his daughter aged 15 years old is missing since 19/03/16 and he suspect that Meena Devi who is residing at Shimla kidnapped his minor daughter. ASI Bodh Raj I.O. of P.S. Gohar is investigating the case.
CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY, HURT AND CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION
3 Case FIR No. 78/16 dated 20/03/16 U/S 341, 323, 506 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Smt. Soma Devi W/O Sh. Brij Lal R/O Dhabryani PO Beena Tehsil Balh District Mandi (HP) that on 20/03/16 at about 3 PM while She was going towards her grass field, in the mean time her Brother-in-law came there and obstructed her way and beat her up . HC Raj Kumar No. 27 I.O. of PP Rewalsar is investigating the case.

4 Case FIR No. 38/16 dated 21/03/16 U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in P.S. BSL Colony Sundernagar on the complaint of Sh. Pushap Raj S/O Sh. Chet Ram R/O Gandhimani PO Devdhar Tehsil Chachiot District Mandi (HP) that on 21/03/16 he was going towards Kullu by his Vehicle(HP63-5790) and when he reached near Dhanotu in the mean time a Van (HP34F-2096) which was driven by Chander Prakash S/O Sh. Dev Prakash District Kullu (HP) rashly and negligently and collided with his above vehicle as a result both occupants of vehicle (HP34F-2096) sustained injuries. ASI Shiv Kumar I.O. of P.S. BSL Colony Sundernagar is investigating the case.

5 Case FIR No. 76/16 dated 20/03/16 U/S 39 of HP Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat by ASI Naresh Kumar I.O. of P.S. Sarkaghat that he was on patrolling alongwith other police officials at Bhuvani and during the course of patrolling he recovered 4500 ML Country Liquor from the possession of Suharu Ram S/O Sh. Gulajari Ram R/O Bhuvani PO Darpa Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt Mandi (HP). ASI Naresh Kumar I.O. of P.S. Sarkaghat is investigating the case.
CASE OF CRUELTY BY HUSBAND & HUSBAND'S RELATIVES AND SUICIDE
6 Case FIR No. 77/16 dated 21/03/16 U/S 498(A) , 306 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat on the complaint of Sh. Roshan Lal S/O Sh. Diwana Ram R/O Kharout PO Thouna Tehsil Sarkaghat District Mandi (HP) his daughter namely Salita Devi was got married with Kali Dass S/O Sh. Inder Singh R/O Rasehar PO Maseran Tehsil Sarkaghat District Mandi (HP) . After some time of marriage her husband started to harass her physically and mentally by demanding dowry as a result on 20/03/16 Salita Devi committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substances . This incident occurred due to regular harassment of her husband Kali Dass. ASI Rajesh Kumar I.O. of P.S. Sarkaghat is investigating the case.
CASE OF NDPS ACT
7 Case FIR No. 78/16 dated 20/03/16 U/S 20 of NDPS Act has been registered in P.S. Sadar by SI Jai Lal I.O. of P.S. Sadar that on 20/03/16 he laid a nakka along with other police officials at Sukki Bain and during the nakkabandi he recovered 1 Kg 35 Gram Charas ( Cannabis) from the possession of Krishan Kumar S/O Sh. Tashi Ram R/O Gothla PO Somnachani Tehsil Balichowki District Mandi (HP) . Accused has been arrested and further investigation is being carried out by SI Jai Lal I.O. of P.S. Sadar .

8 Case FIR No. 79/16 dated 20/03/16 U/S 20 of NDPS Act has been registered in P.S. Sadar by HC Kamal No. 79 I/C of P.P. Slapper that on 20/03/16 he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Shivratri mela and during patrolling he recovered 108 Gram Charas ( Cannabis) from the possession of Nitin S/O Sh. Naresh Kumar R/O House No. 180 Mohalla Charna Jeet Pura Ward No. 31 Jalandhar City ( PB) aged 36 years old. HC Kamal Singh No. 79 I.O. of P.S. Sadar is investigating the case.

Tehsil Sundernagar Distt Mandi (HP) which was causing obstruction to the general public as well as traffic . ASI Jeet Singh I/C of PP Slapper is investigating the case.
CASE OF FOREST ACT
14 Case FIR No. 22/16 dated 20/03/16 U/S 379, 120 (B) IPC & U/S 41& 42 of Indian Forest Act has been registered in P.S. Padhar on the complaint of Om Parkash Chandel RO Forest officer Urla that he recovered 22 sleepers & 72 frames from the possession of Devi Lal S/O Sh. Chunu Ram , Biri Singh & Gopal R/O Dhar District Mandi (HP) which were laid by them at Urla on the campus of Saw possessed by Sh. Bhagat Ram resident of Urla having no legal documents with the owner of above sleepers & frames . Total value of stolen property is Rs. 93,968 /- SI Vinod Thakur SHO of P.S. Padhar is investigating the case.
CHALLANS
167 Challans were issued under M.V.Act and fine of Rs. 31,600 /- was recovered and 07 Challans were issued under COTPA Act and fine of Rs. 700/- was recovered during last 24 hours.
