PRESS RELEASE ON 28 MARCH
CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT AND DEATH DUE TO RASH AND NEGLIGENT ACT
1 CASE FIR NO. 86/16 dated 27/03/16 U/S 279, 304(A) IPC & U/S 187 MV Act has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat on the complaint of Sh. Balwant Singh S/O Sh. Daya Ram R/O Bhambla Tehsil Sarkaghat District Mandi (HP) that on 27/03/16 at about 2 PM he heard the loud noise on the road and he came out from his home and rushed towards the spot and found that a Motor Cycle(HP23B-3643) hit by unknown vehicle and sped away from the spot and rider SomDutt S/O Sh. Khazana Ram R/O Talwada P.O Gahar Tehsil Sarkaghat District Mandi(HP) lying on the spot and who declared brought dead by MO CHC Baldwara . SI Ashwani I/C of PP Hatli is investigating the case.
CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY AND HURT
2 Case FIR No. 87/16 dated 28/03/16 U/S 341, 323, 34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Jai Sngh S/O Sh. Thakur Singh R/O Nalwari PO Galma Tehsil Balh District Mandi (HP) that on 28/03/16 he was going towards Galma by his tractor , in the mean time Soun & Sanju both are the resident of same locality , obstructed his way and beat him up . HC Rajesh Kumar No. 64 I.O. of P.S. Balh is investigating the case.
CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY AND HURT
3 Case FIR No. 83/16 dated 27/03/16 U/S 341, 323 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sadar on the complaint of Anshu Thakur S/O Sh. Dharam Chand R/O Gokhra Tehsil Sadar District Mandi (HP) that on 27/03/16 that he was coming from Manali and when reached near Mandi , in the mean time Bhoju Ram a Texi driver of Vehicle (HP01M -1806) obstructed his way and beat him up. ASI Gian Chand I.O. of P.S. Sadar is investigating the case.

4 140 Challans were issued under M.V. Act and fine of Rs. 17,400/- was recovered and 11 Challan was issued under COTPA Act and fine of Rs. 1100/- was recovered and 02 Challans were issued under Mining Act and fine of Rs. 1200 /- was recovered during last 24 hours.
