CRIME REPORT ON 17 MARCH

INSPECTION OF WATER TANKS & WATER TREATMENT PLANTS

1.         Today as per the  directions of the hon'ble High Court regarding inspection of Water Tanks and Water Treatment Plants has been conducted by the team constituted which includes the undersigned, ADC Mandi, XEN I&PH Mandi, a team of health department. The team inspected the water tanks and water treatment plants at Dudar which cater to the main water supply to Mandi town and samples of filtered water were also taken for lab testing.

CASE OF HURT AND INTIMIDATION

2. Case FIR No. 76/16 dated 16/03/16 U/s 325, 504  IPC has been registered  in P.S. Balh on the complaint of  Smt. Shakuntla Devi W/O Sh. Nidhi Singh  R/O  Dusra Kahbu Tehsil  Balh  District Mandi (HP) that  on 20/02/16 Rewati  Devi resident of  the same locality  beat her up  and  she sustained injuries.  HC  Raj Kumar  I.O. of P.S. Balh is investigating the case.    

CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY , HURT AND INTIMIDATION

3.  Case FIR No. 46/16 dated  16/03/16  U/S 341, 323, 504  IPC has been registered in   P.S.  Jogindernagar on  the complaint of Sh. Tek Chand S/O  Sh. Govind  Ram  R/O  Ghamrehar PO Jalpehar Tehsil  Jogindernagar  District Mandi  (HP) that  Pyar   Chand  S/O Sh. Mangat  Ram    resident  of same  locality   obstructed his way  and beat him up  and he sustained  injuries.  HC  Rajmal  No. 875  I.O. of P.S. Jogindernagar is investigating the case.

CASE OF CRIMINAL TRESPASS, HURT AND   CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION

 4. Case FIR No. 47/16 dated 16/03/16  U/S 451,  323, 504, 506  IPC has been registered in P.S.  Jogindernagar on the complaint  of Sh.  Bhudhi Singh  S/O Sh. Ratku  Ram  R/O  Har  PO  Harabag Tehsil  Jogindernagar District  Mandi (HP) that   Lalit Kumar  S/O Sh. Prem Singh  resident of same locality  entered in  courtyard of his home and  beat him up  and also threatened him with dire consequences.  HC Chaman Lal No. 38  I.O. of P.S. Jogindernagar is investigating the case.

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

 5. Case FIR No.  70/16 dated  16/03/16  U/S  279 IPC  &  U/S185  MV Act has been registered   in  P.S.  Sarkaghat  by  HC Rajesh  Kumar  No. 907  I.O. of PP Hatli that   on  16/03/16  on   receiving telephonic information  he went to  spot at Narola and found that   vehicle  (HP01M-1970)  &    HP( 01K-1143)    collided   with  each other. This  accident occurred  due to  rash and negligent  driving   under the influence of alcohol by the driver of  Vehicle(HP01K-1143) namely  Ram  Singh  S/O Sh. Brij Lal  R/O  Ukhla Baras PO Dhurkhadi Tehsil  Baldwara Distt.  Mandi   and  driver of (HP01M-1970)   namely  Sunny  Kumar  S/O  Sh. Bhag Singh   resident of same locality . HC Rajesh  Kumar  No. 907  I.O. of  PP Hatli  is investigating the case.

CHALLANS

6.   353  Vehciles were  challaned  under M.V. Act and fine of Rs. 47,900 /- was recovered  and  34  challans  were  issued under COTPA  Act  and fine of Rs. 3500/- was recovered  and  9 challan were  issued  under Mining Act and  fine of Rs. 23,600/- was recovered  during last 24 hours.
