PRESS NOTE 12 JUNE

POLICE DEPARTMENT           MANDI DISTRICT (HP)

  1. Case  FIR No. 177/14 dated 12/06/14 U/S 279,337,304A IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh.  Chandermani S/O Sh. Het Ram  R/O Village Sunarli PO Suki Bain Tehil Chachiot  District Mandi (HP) that on 11/06/14 he along with Naresh Kumar were going to their home by Jeep (HP31A-3785) which was being driven by Ghanshyam and when said Jeep reached near  Banasti Nala, Driver of said jeep lost control over it and fell down from the road and driver Ghanshyam died on the spot.  HC Nand Lal No. 37 I/O of P.S. Balh is investigating the case.

  2. Case FIR No. 45 dated 11/06/2014 U/S 323, 325, 34 IPC has been registered in P.S. BSL Colony Sundernagar on the complaint of Sh.   Parma Nand S/O Nanak Chand R/O Village Ghattta PO Kummi Tehsil Balh District Mandi (HP) that on 03/06/14 Sonu, Lucky, Pabbi & Dimple beat him up at Dhanotu Bridge NH-21 and he sustained injuries.   ASI Trilok Chand I.O. of  PS BSL Colony Sundernagar is investigating the case.

  3. Case FIR No. 133/14 dated 12/06/14 U/S  306 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi on the complaint of Sh.  Rajender Kumar S/O  Sh. Puran Chand R/O  Village Nela PO Dudar Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi (HP) that his brother's wife Ram Payari W/O  Lal Singh R/O  Nela PO Dudar Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi tortured  his wife Savitri Devi physically and mentally and compelled his wife Savitri Devi to    to commit the suicide. SI Vinod Kumar I.O. of P.S. Sadar Mandi is investigating the case   

  4. Case FIR No.  83/14 dated 12/06/14  U/S 325 IPC has been registered in P.S. Jogindernagar on the complaint of Smt. Kashmira Devi W/O Sh.  Yusub Khan R/O Kumharnu PO Balh-Kwar Tehsil Lad-Bharol Distt Mandi HP  that on 07/06/14 she was working in her fields, in the mean time  Hazara Bibi W/O Sh. Anwar Khan R/O Vill. Kumharnu PO Balh-Kwar Tehsil Lad-Bharol Distt Mandi (HP) beat her up and she sustained injuries. ASI Vinod Kumar, Incharge Police Post Ladbharol is investigating the case.

  5. 76 vehicles were challaned and compounded to Rs.  11,900/-     and 4 challans  made under COTPA & fined  Rs. 500/-.
