                                      PRESS NOTE

1. Case FIR No 15/14 dated 04/02/14  U/S 20 of ND&PS Act & U/S 196 of MV ACT has been registered in P.S. Jogindernagar  bu SI (Prob.) Rajesh Kumar that he was on traffic checking along with other police officials at Tobhali and during the course of checking of a car (HP39-5366) he recovered 85 Gram cannabis (charas) from the possession of Pankaj Sharma S/O Sh. Bharat Bhushan R/O VPO Paprola Tehsil Baijnath District Kangra (HP). Accused has been arrested and further investigation of the case is being carried out by SI (Prob.) Rajesh Kumar I.O. of P.S. Jogindernagar is investigating the case.

2. Case FIR No 33/14 dated 04/02/14  U/S 20 NDPS Act has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar by SI Rattan Singh I.O. of P.S. Sundernagar that on 04/02/14 he was on patrolling alongwith other police officials at Pungh and during the course of checking of a car (HP25A-0424) he recovered 1 KG and 958 Gram cannabis (charas) from the possession of   Hukkam Chand S/O Sukh Ram R/o Vill. Seri P.O. Chunahan Tehsil Sadar Distt Mandi HP, Rakesh Kumar S/O Govardhan Dass Vill. Daghut P.O. Joo Tehsil   Distt Kullu (HP) & Chet Ram S/O Lt. Sh, Nikka Ram R/O Vill. Kehad P.O. Rajgarh Distt Mandi (HP). All three accused have been arrested and further investigation of the case is being carried out by SI Rattan Chand I.O. of P.S. Sundernagar.

3. Case FIR No 34/14 dated 505/02/14  U/S 452, 323, 34 IPC  has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar on the complaint of Sh.  Prem Lal S/O Sh. Munshi Ram R/O Village Sohar P.O. Baroti Tehsil Sundernagar  Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 04/02/14   Amar Singh S/O Hari Singh R/O Sohar along with another  person entered in his room beat him up. HC Chaman Lal No. 895 I.O. of P.S. Sundernagar is investigating the case.

4. Case FIR No 35/14 dated 05/02/14 U/S 325 IPC  has been registered in P.S. Sundenragar on the complaint Sh. Triloknath Sharma S/O Amar Nath Sharma R/O   Saroj Kunj near PWD Rest House Sundenraar that on 03/02/14 he parked his vehicle outside of the PWD Rest House Sundernagar and an unknown person beat him up and he sustained injuries. HC Ravinder Singh No. 863 I.O. of P.S. Sundernagar is investigating the case.

5. Case FIR No 36/14 dated 05/02/14  U/S 336, 427, 34 IPC  has been registered in P.S. Sundenragar on the written complaint of Sh. Piru Ram S/O Sh. Jiyunu Ram R/O Vill. Reyun PO Batwara Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 04/02/14 Shyam Lal, Hans Raj, Jai Pal carried out a blast in their land without any prior intimacy due to which slates of his house broke and a slate fell down on the foot of his daughter who sustained injuries. ASI Brij Lal incharge Police Post Slapper is investigating the case.

6. Case FIR No. 54/14dated 04/02/14 U/S  341,323,504,34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Smt. Anita Kumari W/O Sh. Kashmir Singh R/O VPO Gutkar Tehisil Sadar District Mandi (HP) that on 03/02/14 her brother in-law obstructed her way and beat her up. HC Kamal Kant No. 860 I.O. of P.S. Balh is investigating the case.

7. Case FIR No. 55/14 dated 04/02/14 U/S  341,323,34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Het Ram S/O Sh. Chuha Ram R/O Vill. Gudan PO Pangna Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi (HP) that 04/02/14 Ramesh Kumar R/O Bangrotu obstructed his way and beat him up. HC Kamal Kant No. 860 I.O. of P.S. Balh is investigating the case.

8. Case FIR No. 56/14 dated 05.02.2014 u/s 341,323,504 IPC has been registered on the statement of Sh. Bangali Ram S/O Late Sh. Lihnu Ram age 78 years, R/O Village Upper Ghatta PO Kummi Tehsil Sadar District Mandi HP. He alleged that on dated 05.02.2014 at about 4 PM while he was standing on  the road in front of his house, his son Moti Ram obstructed his way and made a blow of wooden stick (Dhanda) on his head. The case is being investigated by ASI Rajesh Kumar I/O PS Balh.

9. Case FIR No 14/14 dated 04-02-2014 U/S 498A, 342, 190,506IPC has been registered in written application of Bharati Devi W/O Jitender Kumar R/O Vill. Lawandi PO Bajni Tehsil Sadar PS Padhar Distt. Mandi HP and age 21 Years came in this PS along with Father Gopal Dass. She alleged in application that since on dated 16-01-14 she got marriage with said Jitender Kumar after two days of marriage started mentally and physically torched and bitten her. That on dated 23-01-14 she went to her parent's home Mobisarri and told her father and mother about above story. On the next day her husband Jitender kumar came her Parent's home and sorry feel about this story.On the requested of her husband the parent's of complainant  sent back to their village Lawandi. She stated that yesterday her husband came their bedroom drunken condition shut the door and bitten her very badly and pushed her neck bitten of her husband sustain injuries all parts of bodies.  On the above sited subject case has been registered and investigated by ASI Ashok Kumar  I/O PS Padhar.

10. Case FIR No. 42/14 dated 04/02/14 U/S 451,323,504,506,34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi on the complaint of Sh.   Rajender Singh R/O House No. 210/12 Ramnagar Mandi that on 04/02/14 Lalit Vaidya along with other three persons entered in land and beat him up.  HC Sanjeev Kumar No. 32 I.O.  P.S. Sadar Mandi s investigating the case.

11.77 Vehicles were challaned and compounded to Rs.  19,800/-    and 4 challans  made under COTPA & fined  Rs. 400/- .
