1. WINNERS OF OPEN HALF MARATHON-2014 (MALE & FEMALE)

 

1.      Today District Police Mandi organized an open half marathon (male & female)  on the eve of International Shivratri Fair-2014 of District  Mandi  which was flagged off by Sh. Devesh Kumar, IAS, Deputy Commissioner,  Mandi, District Mandi (HP) from historic Seri Manch. Chief Guest, Sh. Devesh Kumar, IAS,  also distributed prizes among the winners. In this event  120 participants (male =  94 and female= 26) participated.   

    

    Names of winners of half marathon (male category) are as under:-

    

   (a) Sh. Praveen Kumar  S/O Sh. Prem Lal R/O VPO. Bharthin Tehsil Jhanduta  Distt. Bilaspur (HP)  secured  1^st position and awarded with cash prize of  Rs.15,000/-.

    (b) Sh. Nagender Pal  S/O Sh. Nanak Chand  R/O Vill. Roa Pali PO Chunahan Tehsil Nerchowk Distt. Mandi (HP), secured 2^nd position and awarded with  cash prize of  Rs. 11,000/-.

    (c) Sh. Ramesh Kumar  S/O Sh. Nanak  Chand R/O Vill. Pali PO Chunahan Tehsil Nerchowk Distt. Mandi (HP), secured 3^rd position and awarded with cash prize of Rs.7,000/-.

     

    Names of winners of half  marathon  (female category) are as under:-

    

     (a) Miss Kanta Devi D/O Sh. Netar Singh R/O Vill. Kandhi PO Saroa Tehsil Chachiot Distt. Mandi (HP) secured  1^st position and awarded with cash prize of Rs. 11,000/-. 

     (b) Miss Neha Thakur  D/O Sh. Narender Kumar R/O Vill. Kataula Bagi PO Sajil Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi (HP),  secured 2^nd position and awarded with  cash prize of Rs. 8,000/-.

      (c) Miss Shalu D/O Sh. Desh Raj R/O Vill. Kanehar PO Drahal Tehsil Jogindernagar Distt. Mandi (HP), secured 3^rd position and awarded with cash prize of Rs. 6,000/-.

    

2. Case FIR NO 21/14dated 23/02/14  U/S 323,325,506,34 IPC has been registered in Karsog on the complaint of Sh. Mohan Lal  S/O Sh. Sahanu Lal  R/O village Malohani PO Pangna  Tehsil Karsog Distt. Mandi (HP) that  Raku R/O Dhai, Mahesh Kumar R/O village Sui  beat him up and he sustained injuries.   ASI Shanti Swaroop   Incharge P.P. Pangna is investigating the case.  
3. Case FIR No. 20/14 dated 22/02/14 U/S 279,337 IPC has been registered in P.S. Gohar on the complaint of Sh. Dharmender Kumar S/O Sh. Om Chand R/O Vill. Makri PO Kholanala Sub Tehsil Balochowki Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 22/02/14 Chiranjan Singh S/O Sh. Thakur Dass R/O Makri fell down from his M/Cycle on road due to rash and negligent driving by him and he sustained injuries. HC Prabhakar Ram No. 872 I.O. of P.S. Gohar is investigating the case.
4. Case FIR No.  17/14 dated 22/02/14 U/S 279,337 IPC has been registered in P.S. Aut Distt. Mandi (HP) on the complaint of Sh. Nishant Saini S/Osh. Leela Dhar R/O Ropa PO Bhijpur Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 22/02/14 he was going from Nagar to his home by M/Cycle (HP31A-1754) and when reached near Rans Nullah, a car (HP33B-1090) came from Mandi side very rashly and negligently and hit his M/Cycle due to which he sustained injuries. ASI Mohar Singh I.O. of P.S. Aut is investigating the case.  
5. Case FIR No. 21/14 dated 22/01/14 U/S 451,323,504,506 IPC has been registered in P.S. Jogindernagar on the complaint of Smt. Swarna Devi W/O Sh. Hardev Singh R/O Vill. Kunsol PO Bassi Tehsil Jogindernagar Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 22/02/14 Gian Chand S/O Sh. Makoru resident of same locality entered in her courtyard beat her up along with her sister-in-law. HC Thakur Singh No. 31 I.O. P. P. Bassi investigating the case.

1. 31 vehicles were challaned and compounded to Rs. 11,8500/-  and 3 challans   made under COTPA & fined  Rs. 300/-.
