PRESS NOTE ON 15/02/14

POLICE DEPARTMENT            MANDI DISTRICT (HP)

1. Case FIR No. 59/14 dated 14/01/14 U/S 279,337 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Mahender Pal S/O Sh. Khem Chand Sharma R/O Village Lehara PO Rawalsar Tehsil Sadar District Mandi (H.P.) that on 14/02/14 he was crossing road at Nerchwok, in the mean time a car (HP33T9586) came very rashly and negligently and hit him. HC Kamal Kant No. 860 I.O. of P.S. Balh is investigating the case.   

    

2. Case FIR No. 60/14 dated 14/01/14 U/S 279,337 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh.  Tek Chand S/O Sh. Narayan Singh   R/O Village Kalera PO Padwahan Tehsil Padhar District Mandi (HP) that on 14/02/14 he was changing the tyres of his truck (HP33-7977) which was parked along  the side of the road, in the mean time a bus (HP65-3005) came very rashly from Nerchowk side and struck with his truck and conductor of said bus sustained injuries. ASI Rajesh Kumar I.O. of P.S. Balh is investigating the case.

3. Case FIR No. 16/14 dated 14/02/14  U/S 39 of H.P. Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Karsog by  SI Rajesh Kumar, SHO P.S. Karsog that on 14/02/14 at about 5 PM he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Sapnot and during the course of patrolling he recovered 57 bottles of country liquor from the possession of  Jagdish Chand S/O Hari Chand VPO Sapnot Tehsil Karsog Disst Mandi (HP). SI Rajesh Kumar SHO P.S. Karsog is investigating the case.

4. Case FIR No 17/14 dated 14/02/14 U/S 39 of H.P. Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Karsog  by ASI   Amar Singh  that he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Sapnot and during the course of patrolling he recovered 9000 ML country liquor from the possession of  Nitya Nand S/O Sh Madan Lal village Kandhi PO Sapnot Tehsil Karsog Disst Mandi (HP). ASI Amar Singh I.O. of P.S. Karsog is investigating the case.

5. 103 vehicles were challaned and compounded to Rs.  12,400/-    and 2challans  made under COTPA & fined  Rs. 300/-.
