POLICE DEPARTMENT           MANDI DISTRICT (HP)

1. Case FIR No 46/14 dated 08/02/14 U/S 20 of NDPS Act has been registered in this P.S. Sadar Mandi by SI (Prob) Kulwant Singh I.O. of P.S. Sadar Mandi  on 08/02/14 he laid a nakka along with other police officials at Sukki Bain and during the course of search of a vehicle (HP01C-0914) he recovered 1 KG 08 Gram cannabis (charas) from the possession of  Roop Lal S/O Sh. Netar Singh R/O Village Murhala PO & Tehsil Thunag Distt. Mandi (HP)  and Roop Lal S/O Bhudha Ram VPO Kathog Tehsil Padhar Distt. Mandi HP). Both accused persons have arrested who are being produced before the Ld. Court of and further investigation of the case is being carried out by SI (Prob.) Kulwant Singh I.O. of P.S. Sadar Mandi.

2.  A Case FIR No. 38/14 dated 09/02/14 U/S 363, 366A IPC has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar on the complaint of Sh.  Basant Ram S/O Sh. Piru Ram R/O Village Thana Barto P.O. Bayala Tehsil Sundernagar District Mandi (HP) that on 07/02/14 at about 11 AM his daughter  Daya Devi @ Situ aged 16  years old went to graze the goats but she did not returned back upto 6 PM and he suspects that his son-in-law Pappu  @ Pawan kidnapped his  daughter with the intention to marry with her. SI (Prob.) Hans Raj I.O. of  PS Sundernagar is investigating the case.

3. Case FIR No. 8/14 dated 08/02/14 U/S 39 of H.P. Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Jogindernagr by ASI Thakru Ram  Incharge Police Post Ghatta that he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Chauntra and during the course of patrolling he recovered 7 bottles of country liquor from the possession of Krishan Chand S/O Sh. Balak Ram at present shopkeeper at Chauntra Tehsil Joginderngar Distt. Mandi (HP).  ASI Thakru Ram incharge P.P. Ghatta is investigating the case.

4. Case FIR No. 19/14 dated 09/02/14 U/S 379,201,34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Jogindernagar that today at about 03.30 AM three persons were burning telephone cable at Talaidhar and when police party of P.P. Ghatta reached at the spot two persons sped away from the spot whereas Desh Raj S/O Sh. Prem Singh R/O VPO Bhagdhar Tehsil Dalhousie Distt. Chamba has been arrested by the local police of P.P. Ghatta and further investigation of the case is being carried out by ASI Thakru Dass Incharge P.P. Ghatta.

5. Case FIR No. 57/14 dated 08/02/14 U/S 341,323,34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Nand Kishre S/O Sh. Bansi Lal R/O Vill. Mandir Tanda PO Dhavan Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 08/02/14 he was present at Dadaur, in the mean time  two persons came there and they both beat him up. HC Naresh Kumar No. 862 I.O. of P.S. Balh is investigating the case.

6. 94 vehicles were challaned and compounded to Rs.  12,200/-    and 2challans  made under COTPA & fined  Rs. 200/-.
