PRESS NOTE ON 21 FEB

  1. Case FIR No. 53/14 dated 20/02/14 U/S  20,29 of  NDPS Act has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi by SI (Prob.) Kulwant Singh I.O. of P.S. Sadar Mandi that on 20/02/14 he laid a nakka along with other police officials at Sukki Bain and during the course of checking of a car (HR26AL-7592) he recovered 1506 gram cannabis (charas) from the possession of Hasveer S/I Sh. Sadhu Ram, Rohit Kumar S/O Sh. Surender, Rakesh Kumar S/O Nirjan Dass, Narender Kumar S/O Sh. Jaipal all are resident of VPO Garhshankar Distt. Hoshiarpur (PB). SI (Prob.) Kulwant Singh I.O. of P.S. Sadar Mandi is investigating the case.

  2. Case  FIR No. 16/14 dated 20/02/14 U/S 279,337 IPC  has been registered in P.S. Aut on the complaint of Sh. Duni Chand S/O Sh. Jaharu Ram R/O Vill. Thansi PO Nagwain Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 20/02/14   he was going back from Nagwain to his house Thanis by an unknown jeep and when said jeep reached at Ashu nullah driver Rohit Sharma S/O Sh. Prakash Chand R/O Vill. Moshara PO Nagwain lost control over it and fell down from the road. ASI Chaman Lal  I.O. of P.S. Aut is investigating the case.

  3. Case FIR No 48/14 dated 20/02/14 U/S 325,34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar on the complaint of Sh. Roop Lal S/O Sh. Tulsi Ram R/O Vill. Kangar PO Rajwari Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 20/02/14 three unknown persons obstructed his way and beat him up and he sustained injuries. ASI Hitender Singh I.O. of P.S. Sundernagar is investigating the case.

  4. Case FIR No. 50/14 dated 21/02/14 U/S 380 IPC has been registered on the complaint of Sh. Pakanj Kumar S/O Sh. Kishori Lal R/O vill. Galahi PO Hatwar Tehsil Ghumarwin Distt. Bilaspur (HP)  that he is the student of Pharmacy-II Sem. in Dreams College Khilara. He and his friend Pankaj Kumar kept Rs. 53,000/- along with personal documents in their quarter at place Pungh and they left towards their native place and key of quarter handed over to his friend Nikhi Bhardwaj. On 16/02/14 when he return back in their quarter and found that Rs. 53000/-along with their personal documents stole away by his class mate namely Rohit. ASI Ram Lal I.O. P.S. Sundernagar is investigating the case.

  5. 104 vehicles were challaned and compounded to Rs. 13000/-  and 6 challans   made under COTPA & fined  Rs. 600/-.
