CASE OF THEFT AND UNDER FOREST ACT
1. Case FIR No. 4/13 dated 10/01/13 U/S 379 IPC and U/S 41,42 I.F. Act has been registered in P.S. Aut on the complaint of an officer of Forest Department of Panarsa Range that officials of forest department laid a nakka at Kandhi Kanooj Road and during the course of nakka they recovered four sleepers of cedar (deodar) from a vehicle (HP02K-0695). Driver of said vehicle along with another person sped away from the spot. ASI Chaman Lal I.O. of P.S. Aut is investigating the case.
CASE OF CRIMINAL TRESPASS & THEFT
2. Case FIR No. 9/13 dated 10/01/13 U/S 447, 379 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat on the complaint of a person resident of village Sarnota under the jurisdiction of P.S. Sarkaghat that another person of the same locality entered in his land cut down the trees from his land having approximately cost of Rs. 4000/-. HC Prakash Chand I.O. of P.S. Sarkaghat is investigating the case.
CHALLAN
3. 104 challans were issued and fine of Rs. 8900/- was recovered under M.V. Act, 12 challans were issued under COTPA & fine of Rs. 1200/- was recovered and 4 challans were issued under Mining Act during last 24 hours.
