PRESS NOTE
1. Case FIR No. 35/14 dated 21/03/2014 U/S 20 of NDPS Act has been registered in P.S. Padhar by ASI Thakru Ram incharge P.P. Ghatta that today he along with other police officials laid a nakka near Police Post Ghatta and during the course of nakka he recovered 700 Gram cannabis (charas) from the possession of Ganga Ram S/O Sh. Mangat Ram R/O Vill. Bulang PO Sudhar Tehsil Padhar Distt. Mandi (HP). ASI Thakru Ram incharge P.P. Ghatta is investigating the case.
2. Case FIR No 18/14 dated 20/03/14 U/S 39 of H.P. Excise Act has been registered in P.S. BSL Colony Sundernagar by ASI Shanti Swaroop I.O. of P.S. BSL Colony Sundernagar that on 20/03/14 at about 6 PM he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Mahadev and during the course of patrolling he recovered 5000 ML country liquor from the possession of Roop Lal S/O Sh. Biru Ram R/O VPO Mahadev Tehsil Sundernagar Distt Mandi (HP). ASI Shanti Sawroop I.O. of P.S. BSL Colony Sundernagar is investigating the case.
3. Case FIR No 19/14 dated 20/03/14 U/S 39 of H.P. Excise Act has been registered in P.S. BSL Colony Sundernagar by SI Rattan Singh SHO P.S. BSL Colony Sundernagar that on 20/03/14 he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Upper Behli and during the course of patrolling her recovered 5000 ML country liquor from the possession of Radha Devi W/O Daya Ram R/O VPO Upper Behli Tehsil Sundernagar Distt Mandi (HP). SI Rattan Singh SHO P.S. BSL Colony Sundernagar is investigating the case.
4. Case FIR No 75/14 dated 21/03/14 U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar on the complaint of Sh. Vikarant Bhandari S/O Sh. Jeevan Bhandari R/O H.No. 25 Durga Colony Jalandhar District Jalandhar (PB) that on 20/03/14 he was going to Dental College Sundernagar by a car (PB-08CP-0225) and Dr. Vikas Jindal was going by another car (HP23B-6316) to the Dental College Sundernagar and when they reached near Poultry Farm Slah, in the mean time a Tanker (HP65A-7575) came from Chatrokhari side very rashly and hit the car (HP23B-6316) of Dr.Vikash Jindal and he sustained injuries. HC Lalit No 26 I.O. of P.S. Sundernagar is investigating the case.
5. 69 vehicles were challaned and compounded to Rs. 9600/- and 2 challans made under COTPA & fined Rs. 200/-.
