PRESS NOTE ON 14 MAR

  1. Case FIR No 27/14 Dated 13/03/14 U/S 39 of HP Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Gohar by SI Naveen Jhalta, SHO P.S. Gohar that on 13/03/14 he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Devdhar and during the course of patrolling he recovered 3750 ML illicit liquor from the possession of  Changu Ram S/O Sh. Haru Ram R/O  Village Rakani PO Devdhar Tehsil Chachiot Distt Mandi (HP).  SI  Naveen Jhalta SHO P.S. Gohar is investigating the case.

  2. Case FIR No.64/14 dated 13/03/14 U/S 11 of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals   Act has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar by ASI Prakash Chand I.O. of P.S. Sundernagar that on 13/03/14 he along with other police officials laid a nakka at Pungh, in the mean time a truck (HP65-1134) came from Sundernagar side and during the course of checking he found that buffaloes were loaded in said truck very overcrowded. ASI Prakash Chand I.O. of P.S. Sundernagar is investigating the case.

  3. Case FIR No. 65/14 dated 13/03/14  U/S 341, 323, 504 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar on the complaint of Sh. Shyam Lal S/O Late Sh. Ganga Ram Vill. Dhawalbari P.O. Dhawal Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi  (HP) that on 13/03/14  Lekh Ram S/O Sh. Devnu R/O Khurahal obstructed his way and beat him up.   HC Tek Chand No. 902 I.O. of P.P.Slapper is investigating the case.

  4. Case FIR No. 66/14 dated 13/03/14  U/S 341, 323, 504, 506, 34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar on the complaint of Sh. Dinesh Kumar S/O Sh. Hari Chand R/O VPO Jarol Tehsil Sundernagar Distt Mandi  (HP) that on 13/03/14   4/5 persons obstructed his way & beat him up.  HC Girdhari Lal No. 30 I.O. of  P.S. Sundernagar is investigating the case.

  5. Case FIR No 32/14 dated 13/03/14 U/S 498A,504,506, 34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Jogindernagar on the complaint of   Smt Maya W/O Sh. Raj Kumar at present residing her parental house at  Vill Har Gunain P.O. Harabag Tehsil Joginderngar Distt. Mandi (HP) that  she was got married during the  year 2007 with Raj Kumar R/O Balh, Tehsil Jogindernagar Distt. Mandi (HP) and after her marriage she went along with her in-laws and husband to Abu Road Rajasthan. After marriage her in-laws, husband and sister-in-law snatched her jewelery and demanded  one lac from her parents as  dowry they were also creating certain problems to her after her marriage.  ASI Govind Pal I.O. of P.S. Jogindernagar is investigating the case. 

  6. Case FIR No. 86/14 dated 13/03/14 U/S  498A,323,34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Smt.   Hem Lata W/O Sh. Jitender Soni   R/O VPO PO Rajgarh Tehsil Balh District Mandi (HP) that   she was married during the year  2009 and after her marriage she is being mal-treated by her husband and mother in-law. On 13/03/2014 she asked to visit her relatives at Ladrour, her mother in law abused her and husband beat her up.  ASI Joginder Singh I.O. of P.S. Balh is investigating the case.

  7. Case FIR No. 87/14 dated 13/03/14 U/S 341,323 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh.  Gurdev Singh S/O Sh. Gangtha Ram  R/O Village Dharwahan PO Nerchowk Tehsil Balh District Mandi (HP) that on 13/03/14  he was going to his home, his nephew Chet Ram obstructed his way and beat him up.   HC Nand Lal No. 37 I.O. of P.S. Balh is investigating the case.

  8. Case FIR No. 88/14 dated 14/03/14 U/S  341,323  IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Srijan Chaudhary S/O Sh. Tej Singh Choudhary R/O Vill. Dadaour PO Dhawan Tehsil Balh District Mandi HP that on 13/03/14 he was in lab along with his fellow students in Abhilashi College, in the mean time S.K. Shukkla, Secretary of the said college beat him up. HC Rajesh Kumar No. 64 I.O. of P.S. Balh is investigating the case.

  9. Case FIR No. 64/14 dated 13/03/14 U/S 353,332,147,148,149,504,506 has been registered in P.S. Sadar  on the complaint of Sh.  Jagdish Chand Head Constable No. 36 I.O. of P.P. Pandoh that on 13/03/14 he along with C.Vijay Kumar No. 285 were present at Pandoh Bazar, he received information on his mobile that some persons were creating nuisance at Jaral Colony Park. On this he rushed to the spot along with HC Hari Singh No. 407 and HHC Sanjay Kumar No. 547 and saw 6 persons were present and he tried to disperse from there along with other police officials in the mean time a person hit with an iron rod on his head and another person hit with stone on the head of HHC Sanjay Kumar No. 547 and these all six persons assaulted the police party. Sh. Raman Kumar Meena, IPS, Asstt. Superintendent of Police, Mandi is investigating the case.

  10. 101 vehicles were challaned and compounded to Rs. 10,300/-  and 3 challans   made under COTPA & fined  Rs. 300/-.
