PRESS NOTE ON 13 MAR

POLICE DEPARTMENT          MANDI DISTRICT (HP)

                                             

  1. Case  FIR No. 21/14 dated 13/03/14 U/S  279,337,304A IPC   has been registered  on the complaint of Sh.  Sumit Sharma S/O Sh. Arun Kumar  VPO Saryali  Tehsil & Distt.  Tarantaran (PB) that on 13/03/14 he  was going from Manikarna to Anandpur Sahib by M/Cycle (PB46F-0159) and when reached near Nagwain a M/Cycle (PB46N-5693) came from Manikarna towards Mandi and a Tampo Traveler (PB01A-0690) came from Mandi side very rashly and negligently and struck with said M/Cycle and on  occupant of said M/Cycle namely Harpreet Singh S/O Sh. Amrik Singh VPO Saryali Tehsil & Distt. Tarntaran (PB) died on the spot and whereas another occupant namely Joga Singh S/O Sh. Kaka Singh VPO Saryali Tehsil and Distt. Tarantaran (PB) sustained injuries. ASI Hari Singh I.O. of P.S. Aut is investigating the case.

  2. Case FIR No 26/14 dated 12/03/14 U/S 39 of H.P. Excise Act has been registered in this P.S. Gohar by SI Naveen Jhalta SHO P.S. Gohar that on 12/03/14 he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Fahed Khad and during the course of patrolling he recovered 4 bottles of English wine and 2 bottles of country liquor from the possession of  Parma Nand S/O Sh. Kashmir Singh  R/O Vill. Fahed PO Bara Tehsil Chachiot Distt Mandi (HP). SI Naveen Jhalta SHO P.S. Gohar is investigating the case.

  3. Case FIR No. 62/14 dated 12/03/14 U/S 20 of NDPS Act has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi  by   SI Sanjeev Kumar SHO P.S. Sadar Mandi   that on 12/03/14 he laid a nakka along with other police officials at Garnol Nullah and during the course of nakka he recovered 700 Gram cannabis (charas) from the possession of   Roshan Lal S/O Sh. Ram Sawroop R/O Village Lohchab PO Khungakothi Tehsil ,   Distt. Jind (Haryana). Accused has been arrested and further investigation of the case is being carried out by SI Sanjeev Kumar SHO P.S. Sadar Mandi.

  4. Case FIR No. 63/14 dated 12/03/14 U/S   341,342,323,504,166,506,195 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi on the written application of Sh.  Prakash Chand S/O Lt. Lekh Ram Vill. Gordna PO Bhangrotu Tehsil Sadar Mandi (HP) that on  24/11/2014  . Anup Kapoor,Som Dutt Sharama and Prakas Chand illegally restrain, abuse, threat to kill and beat him up at bus stand Mandi.    HC Manoj Kumar I.O. of P.S. Sadar Mandi is investigating the case.

  5. Case FIR No. 31/14 dated 13/03/14 U/S 323/325 IPC has been registered in P.S. Jogindernagar on the complaint of Sh. Arun Kumar S/O Sh. Yog Raj R/O  Vill. Jhalwan PO Jalpehar Tehsil   Jogindernagar Distt Mandi (HP) that on 07/03/14 his brother Koiyan pelted a stone and he sustained injuries.   HC Kamlesh Kumar No 53 I.O. of P.S. Joginderngar is investigating the case.

     

  6. Case FIR No 71/14 dated 12/03/14 U/S  341,323,504, IPC has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat on the complaint of Sh.  Sh. Ravi Singh S/O Sh.  Panjku Ram R/O Garli PO Gharwasra Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt Mandi (HP) that on 12/03/14  Mela Ram S/O Sh.  Aagya Ram R/O Garli PO Gharbasra Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt Mandi (HP) obstructed his way and beat him up. ASI   Rakesh Kumar I.O. of P.S. Sarkaghat is investigating the case.

  7. A case FIR No.62/14 dated 13/03/14 U/S 20 of NDPS Act has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar by ASI Hitender Singh I.O. of P.S. Sundernagar that on 13/03/14 he laid a nakka along with other police officials at Pung and during the course of nakka he recovered 1 KG 605 Gram cannabis from the possession of Raj Kumar S/O Sh. Bhim Singh R/O Tamgash Loomini Distt. Gulmi Nepal. Accused has been arrested and further investigation of the case is being carried out by ASI Hitender Singh I.O. of P.S. Sunderngar. 

  8. Case FIR No. 63/14 dated 13/03/14 U/S 279,337 IPC & U/S  187 MV Act has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar on the complaint of Sh.  Amit Sharma S/O Achher Ram R/O Dhadyal PO Bhojpur Tehsil   Sundernagar Distt. Mandi (HP) that he  was present in his dental care clinic near rest house NH 21 and in the mean time an old aged person was crossing the road, in the mean time a M/Cycle rider came from Bus Stand side towards Chatrokhari and hit said person and he sustained injuries. ASI Sarwan Kumar Incharge TTR Wing Sundernagar is investigating the case.

  9. Case FIR No. 85/14 dated 12/03/14 U/S 39 of  HP Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Balh by  Sh. Amit Sharma, Dy. S.P. (Prob)  that on 12/03/14 he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Balt and during the course of patrolling he recovered 3 bottles of English Wine, 3 bottles of Country Liquor and 3 bottles of bear from the possession of  Rajender Kumar S/O Late Sh. Nand Lal VPO Meramasit Tehsil Balh District Mandi (HP).  Sh. Amit Sharma, Dy. SP (Prob.) is investigating the case.    

  10. 114 vehicles were challaned and compounded to Rs. 21,000/-.
