CRIME REPORT 3 MAR

WINNERS OF OPEN HALF MARATHON (MALE) & MINI MARATHON (FEMALE) 2013                             

1.Today District Police Mandi organized an open half marathon (male) and mini marathon (female) on the eve of International Shivratri Fair 2013 under Anti   Smoking    Campaign launched by   the   District   Police   Mandi  under  COTPA which was flagged off by Dr. Atul Verma, IPS, Inspector General of Police, Central Range, Mandi, from historic Seri Manch. Chief Guest, Dr. Atul Verma, IPS,  also distributed prizes among the winners. In this event  132 participants (male = 113 & female= 19) were enrolled, out of which 128 participants (male =  109 and female= 19) participated in this event.

 

 Names of winners of half marathon (male category) are as under:-

(a) Sh. Rakesh Kumar S/O Sh. Balak Ram R/O Vill. Gaura Gaggal PO Gaggal Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi (HP),  secured  1st position and awarded with cash prize of  Rs.21,000/-.

 (b) Sh. Dinesh Kumar S/O Sh. Om Prakash R/O VPO Anu Tehsil Sadar Distt. Hamirpur (HP) serving in Himachal Pradesh Police, secured 2nd position and awarded with  cash prize of  Rs. 15,000/-.

 (c) Sh. Ishwar Singh S/O Sh. Mehar Chand R/O Vill. Gugan Kakrana PO thana Kalan Tehsil & District Una (HP) serving in Indian Army, secured 3rd position and awarded with cash prize of Rs.11,000/-.

 

In addition to above  three prizes,  following consolation prizes were also awarded in half marathon (male):-

 

   (i) Sh. Rakesh Kumar S/O Sh. Mehar Chand VPO Passan Tehsil Dharmshala District Kangra (HP) serving in Himacha Pradesh Police,  secured 4th position and awarded with cash prize of Rs. 1000/-.

  (ii) Sh. Virender Kumar S/O Sh. Pratap Chand, secured 5th position and awarded with cash prize of Rs. 1000/-.

  (iii) Sh. Pradeep Singh S/O Sh. Pyar Chand R/O Vill. Galu PO Dul Tehsil Jogindernagar Distt. Mandi (HP), secured 6th position and awarded with cash prize of Rs. 1000/-.

  (iv) Sh. Ravi Kumar S/O Sh. Sarwan Kumar R/O Vill. Mandir Tanda PO Lohara Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi (HP), secured 7th position and awarded with cash prize  of Rs. 1000/-.

  (v) SH. Hira Lal S/O Sh. Chand Ram R/O Vill. Mehani PO Gharan Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi (HP),  secured 8th position and awarded with cash prize of Rs. 1000/-.

 

 Names of winners of mini marathon  (female category) are as under:-

 

  (a) Miss Reeta Kumari D/O Sh. Rajender Singh R/O Vill. Nalwin PO Kar Distt. Hamirpur (HP) at present student of Gautam Girls College Hamirpur (HP), secured  1st position and awarded with cash prize of Rs. 21,000/-. 

  (b) Miss Arpita D/O Sh. Anil Saini R/O Vill. Rohana PO Rohana Tehsil and District Muzzafarnagar (UP),  secured 2nd position and awarded with  cash prize of Rs. 15,000/-.

   (c) Miss Kanta Devi D/O Sh. Netar Singh R/O Vill. Kandhi PO Saroa Tehsil Chachiot Distt. Mandi (HP), secured 3rd position and awarded with cash prize of Rs. 11,000/-.

 

In addition to above three prizes, following consolation prizes were also awarded in mini marathon (female):-

 

(i) Miss Manju Kumari D/O Sh. Sarwan Kumari D/O Sh. Sarwan Kumar R/O vill. Mandir Tandfa PO Lohara Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi (HP),  secured 4th position and awarded with cash prize of Rs. 1000/-.

(ii) Miss Neha Kumari D/O Sh. Tara Chand Govt. College Hamirpur (HP), secured 5th position and awarded with cash prize of Rs. 1000/-.

(iii) Miss Pooja D/O Sh. Bhumi Singh R/O VPO Galu Tehsil Jogindernagar Distt. Mandi (HP), secured 6th position and awarded with cash prize of Rs. 1000/-.

(iv) Miss Rubhi Kashyap D/O Sh. Vijender Kashyap R/O Vill. Rohana Khurad PO Rohana Tehsil & Distt. Muzafarnagar (UP), secured 7th position and awarded with cash prize  of Rs. 1000/-.

(v) Miss Pummi Devi D/O Sh. Dhobu Ram R/O VPO Nauhali Tehsil Padhar Distt. Mandi (HP),  secured 8th position and awarded with cash prize of Rs. 1000/-.

 

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

 2. Case FIR No. 15/13 dated 02/03/13 U/S 279,337 IPC has been registered in P.S. Padhar by HC Chaman Lal No. 867 I.O. of P.S. Padhar that on 02/03/13 at about 05.35 PM at Tandu a bus (DL1PC-4335) came from Drang side very rashly and negligently and hit a scooty (HP76-0661) and rider of said scooty sustained injuries. HC Chaman Lal No. 867 I.O. of P.S. Padhar is investigating the case.

 CASE OF NON APPEARANCE IN RESPONSE TO A PROCLAMATION

3. Case FIR No. 22/13 dated 03/03/13 U/S 174 A IPC has been registered in P.S. BSL Colony Sundernagar by HC Harbans Singh No. 68 I.O. of P.O. Cell Mandi that he was arrested Smt. Vijay Luxmi Thakur R/O Haneti PO Purana Bazaar Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi (HP) who was declared proclaimed offender by the Ld Court of JMIC 2nd Sundernagar on 21/08/2012. HC Karan Singh No. 24 I.O.of P.S. BSL Colony Sundernagar is investigating the case.

CASE OF HURT AND INTIMIDATION

4. Case FIR No. 22/13 dated 02/03/13 U/S 323,325,504,34 IPC has  been registered in P.S. Aut on the complaint of Sh. Netar Singh S/O Sh. Singhu Ram VPO Hanogi Tehsil Sadar Mandi (HP) that on 27/02/13 Padma Devi Raj and  Raj Kumar beat him up and on 28/01/13 he was going to P.S. Aut for lodging the complaint on the way Hira Lal S/O Sh. Jai Prakash beat him up and he sustained injuries. HC Sanjeev Kumar I.O. of P.S. Aut is investigating the case.

CASE OF BURGLARY AND THEFT

5. Case FIR No. 23/13 dated 03/03/13 U/S 457,380 IPC has been registered in P.S. Aut on the complaint of Sh. Karan Singh S/O Sh. Chandu Ram R/O Vill. Jala PO Aut Distt. Mandi (HP) that today at about 4 AM three sheep were stolen away from his cowshed which were transported by a van (HP66-3132) by two persons. Approximately value of these three sheep are about Rs. 18000/-. HC Khem Singh No. 21 I.O. of P.S. Aut is investigating the case.

CASE OF THEFT

6. Case FIR No. 27/13 dated 03/03/13 U/S 379 IPC has been registered in P.S. Karsog on the complaint of Sh. Kartar Singh, Deputy Ranger Richhani Block  Range Seri  of Karsog Division that on 02/03/13 he was on patrolling along with other officials in D-234 Sunderu C-4 Forest and during the course of patrolling he found that some unknown culprits cut down one tree of deodar (cedar) and one tree of kayal. ASI Amar Singh I.O. of P.S. Karsog is investigating the case.

CHALLAN

7. 38 challans were issued and fine of Rs. 3500/-   was recovered under M.V. Act and 15 challans were issued under COTPA & fine of Rs. 1880/- was recovered   during last 24 hours.
