                                                            PRESS NOTE

1. Case FIR No. 117/14 dated 13/05/14 U/S 341,323,504 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi on the complaint of Sh. Kewal Ram S/O Dila Ram R/O vill Trambi PO Marathu Tehsil Sadar Distt Mandi (HP) that on 13/05/13 Pradeep Kumar obstructed his way and beat him up. HC Durga Dass No. 408 I.O. of P.S. Sadar Mandi is investigating the case.

2. Case FIR No. 147/14 dated 14/05/14 U/S  363,366 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Smt.  Bhawana Sharma W/O Sh. Tara Chand R/O Ward No. 6 Rewalsar Tehsil Balh District Mandi (HP) that her minor daughter missing since 13/04/14 and she suspects that her daughter was kidnapped by a Nepali person namely Suraj who was working in B.S. Fast Food Dhaba at Rewalsar.   ASI Chiranji Lal Incharge P.P. Rewalsar is investigating the case.   

3. Case FIR No 143/14 dated 14/05/14 U/S 363,366 IPC has been registered in P.S.  Sarkaghat on the complaint of  Smt. Thakari Devi W/O Sh. Prakash Chand R/O Village Joli PO Mahol  Tehsil and Distt Kullu (HP) that her daughter missing since 05/05/14 and she suspects that someone kidnapped her daughter.  SI (Prob.) Anil Kumar I.O. of P.S.  Sarkaghat is investigating the case.

4. Case FIR No 142/14 dated 13/05/14 U/S 39 of HP Excise Act has been registered in P.S.  Sarkaghat by Insp. Prakash Chand SIU Mandi that he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Panihor and during the course of patrolling he recovered 48 bottles of country liquor from the possession of   Jagat Ram S/O Sh. Bhagat R/O Panihor PO Rakhoh Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt Mandi (HP). Inspr. Prakash Chand Incharge SIU Mandi is investigating the case.

5. Case FIR No. 52/14 dated 13/05/14 U/S 341,323,34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Gohar on the complaint of Sh. Jeewa Nand S/O Sh. Thakur Dass R/O Vill. Khanunu PO Shalla Tehsil Chachiot Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 12/05/14 Sheru, Dassi Devi and Raju obstructed his way and beat him up.  HC Krishan Pal No. 13 I.O. of P.S. Gohar is investigating the case.

6. Case FIR No. 53/14 dated 13/05/14 U/S 39 of H.P. Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Gohar by SI Naveen Jhalta SHO P.S. Gohar that on 13/05/14 he was on patrolling along with other police officials and during the course of patrolling he recovered 9 liters illicit liquor from the possession of Tilak Chand S/O Sh. Tara Chand R/O Vill. Sandoa PO Shalla Distt. Mandi (HP). SI Naveen Jhalta SHO P.S. Gohar is investigating the case.

   7. 59 vehicles were challaned and compounded to Rs. 4300/-  and 2 challans   made under COTPA & fined  Rs. 200/-.
