                                                PRESS NOTE

1. Case FIR No. 116/14 dated 10/05/14 U/S 20 of  NDPS Act has been registered in this P.S. Sadar Mandi by  SI Vijay Pal I.O. of P.S. Sadar Mandi that he laid a nakka at Sukkibain and during the course of nakka he recovered 215 Gram cannabis (Charas) from the possession of Jaipal S/O Sh. Om Chand Thakur R/O  Kalangra PO Masheran Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt Mnadi (HP), Abhishek S/O Sh.  Basant  Singh R/O VPO Mausthfavad Tehsil Jagadhari Distt. Yamunanagar Haryana and Rohan Thakur S/O Late Sh. Rohit Kumar R/O  Taliti PO Khatmohal Tehsil Sunni Disttrict Shimla (HP) who were traveling by a private bus. SI Vijay Pal I.O. of P.S. Sadar Mandi is investigating the case.

2. Case FIR No. 50/14 dated 10/05/14 U/S 18 of NDPS Act has been registered in P.S. Gohar by SI Naveen Jhalta SHO P.S. Gohar that he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Baila and during the course of patrolling he recovered 155 plants of opium from the fields of Dasodha Devi @ Chamari Devi W/O Sh. Puran Chand R/O Baila PO Nandi Tehsil Chachiot distt. Mandi (HP). SI Naveen Jhalta I.O. of P.S. Gohar  is investigating the case.

3. Case FIR No. 145/14 dated 11/05/14 U/S 324,323 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Smt. Saraswati W/O Late  Sh. Bhagat Ram R/O Syahan PO Lohar Tehsil Balh Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 11/05/14 at about 6.30 AM Beena Devi W/O Tek Chand entered in her courtyard and beat her up. HC Rajesh Kumar No. 64 HC Rajesh Kumar No. 64  I.O. of P.S. Balh is investigating the case.

4. Case FIR No. 65/14 dated 11/05/14  U/S 353, 332, 34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Jogindernagar on the complaint of Dr. Bashir Ahmad Bhutt,  M.O. CHC Ladbharol Distt. Mandi (HP) that  on 10/05/14 at about 09.50 PM he was going to CHC Ladbharol to check-up a patient and on the way one person obstructed his way and beat him up.  ASI Vinod Singh Incharge Police Post Ladbharol is investigating the case.

5. Case  FIR No. 66/14 dated 11/05/14 U/S 324, 504 IPC has been registered in P.S. Jogindernagar on the complaint of Smt. Sunita Devi W/O Sh. Balwant Singh  R/O Bhran PO Utpur Tehsil Ladbharol Distt. Mandi (HP) that Amar Singh S/O Sh, Ganpat R/O Bhran PO Utpur Tehsil Ladbarol Distt. Mandi (HP)  beat her up and she sustained injuries.   HC Mangat Ram No 898 I.O. of P.P.  Ladbharol is investigating the case.   

6. Case FIR No. 114/14 dated 11/05/14 U/S 341, 504, 506 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar on the complaint of Sh.  Pramod Kumar S/O Sh. Prakash Chand R/O House No. 126/4 Near Cinema Chowk P.O. Bhojpur Distt. Mandi (HP) that today  Vijay Kumar excavated the common way,  obstruct his way & also  threatened him with dire consequences.  HC Tek Chand No. 03 I.O. of P.S. Sundernagar is investigating the case.

7.     64 vehicles were challaned and compounded to Rs. 19,100/-  and 3 challans   made under COTPA & fined  Rs. 300/-.
