                                                PRESS NOTE

1. Case FIR No. 138/14 dated 05/05/2014 U/S 341,323,504 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh.   Sunil Kumar S/O Sh. Durga Dass  R/O  Village Ghaur PO Rewalsar Tehsil Sadar District Mandi (HP) that today   he was going to Rewalsar by Taxi (HP 01M 1235) and when he reached near Riyur Nullah, driver of Shivali Bus obstructed his way and   beat him up. HC Lal Singh No. 80 I.O. of P.S. Balh is investigating the case.

2. Case FIR No. 74/14 dated 04/05/14 U/S 341,323,504,506 IPC has been registered in P.S. Gohar on the complaint of Sh. Rajinder Singh S/O Sh. Nanak Chand R/O Vill. Ruchad PO Chattri Tehsil Thunag Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 03/05/14 Ankush Kumar S/O Sh. Kripala Singh VPO Chhattri obstructed his way and beat him up.  HC Sanjeev Kumar No. 58 I.O. of P.P. Janjehali is investigating the case.

3. Case FIR No. 48/14 dated 04/05/14 U/S 39 of H.P. Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Gohar by SI Naveen Jhalta SHO P.S. Gohar that he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Majhkal he recovered 5 liters illicit liquor from the possession of Kamal Singh S/O Sh. Dila Ram R/O Vill. Majhkal Tehsil Thunag Distt. Mandi (HP). SI Naveen Jhalta SHO P.S. Gohar is investigating the case.

4. Case FIR No. 109/14 dated 04/05/14 U/S 341,323 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar on the complaint of Sh. Ranjeet Singh S/O Sh. Balak Ram R/O Vill. Ghangal PO Harabag Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 04/05/14 Sohan Lal obstructed his way and beat him up. HC Tek Chand No. 902 I.O. of P.P. Slapper is investigating the case.

5. 16 vehicles were challaned and compounded to Rs.  1500/-    and 2 challans  made under COTPA & fined  Rs. 200/-.
