CASE OF NARCOTICS

1. Case FIR No. 31/12 dated 12/04/12 U/S 20 of ND&PS Act has been registered in P.S. BSL Colony Sundernagar by SI Firoj Khan SHO P.S. BSL Colony Sundernagar that he was on patrolling along with other police officials near Shivam Welding and Auto Workshop Bharari and during the course of patrolling he recovered 450 gram cannabis (charas) from the possession of Yog Raj S/O Sh. Devi Ram R/O Bharari PO Chambi Tehsil Sundernagar Distt Mandi HP. Accused has been arrested and further investigation of the case is being carried out by SI Firoj Khan SHO P.S. BSL Colony Sundernagar.

CASE OF BURGLARY AND THEFT

2. Case FIR No. 34/12 dated 12/04/12 U/S 457,380 IPC has been registered on the complaint of Sh. Niharkhu Ram S/O Sh. Anganu Ram R/O Vill. Megal Neri PO Bijani Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi HP that on 11/04/12 at 7.00 PM he pay worship at the Shyama Kali Temple and after paying worship he locked the door of temple and went to sleep in the room nearby the temple. On 12/04/12 early in the morning when he went the temple to worship, he saw the lock of door was opened and when he entered inside the temple he found that nath of Mata Shyama Kali of golden, Choki of copper and brass were missing. He suspect that some unknown culprits stolen away these articles by breaking the lock of the temple. Approximately cost of stolen property is about Rs. 26,000/-. SI Rattan Singh SHO P.S. Padhar is investigating the case. Accused Vikas Sahi S/O Bahi Raj R/O VPO Surkheat Distt. Karnali (Nepal), Adeash S/O Narjan R/O Vill. Mehal Moudi Tanda Kheat Distt. Karnali (Nepal) were arrested by SI Rattan Singh SHO P.S. Padhar in above case on 12/04/12 and stolen property recovered.

CASE OF CRIMINAL TRESPASS AND CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION

3. Case FIR No. 35/12 dated 12/04/12 U/S 447,506,34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Padhar on the complaint of Sh. Shalig Ram S/O Ramdita Security Officer IIT Mandi that Jai Dev and his son Hem Singh trespassed illegally in Khasra No. 5,9,12,14 and 19 in Muhal Kamand and they also threatened to the security guards with dire consequences. 4. Dinesh Kumar S/O Sh. Ravi Singh R/O VPO Kuthera & Rupa Devi W/O Sh. Ravi Singh R/O VPO Kuthera Tehsil Jogindernagar Distt. Mandi were arrested by SI Rajender Kumar I.O. of P.S. Jogindernagar on 12/04/12 who were wanted in case FIR No. 60/12 dated 06/04/12 U/S 498A/306/34 IPC and are being produced before the Ld. Court.

PREVENTIVE ARREST

5. Nathu Ram S/O Sh. Kalu Ram R/O Tetanag PO Jogindernagar Distt. Mandi was arrested U/S 107/151 from Tatanag on 12/04/12 at 11 PM by HC Gopal Chand I.O. of P.S. Jogindernagar who is being produced before the SDM Jogidernagar.

6. Case FIR No.111/12 dated 12/04/12 U/S 380 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Nishant Sharma S/O Sh. Sarwan Kumar R/O Nalwari PO Galma Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi that on 10/04/12 he went to Kansa Chowk for playing Cricket match. He kept his bag in the room near cricket ground and when he came back after finishing of cricket match he found that his bag was stolen away by some unknown person. He had kept three mobile sets, ATM card, canteen card and cash of worth Rs. 4000/- in his bag. Total cost of stolen property is about Rs. 25000/-. SI Chhotta Ram I.O. of P.S. Balh is investigating the case.

7. Case FIR No. 46/12 dated 12/04/12 U/S 376,506,452,323 IPC has been registered in P.S. Gohar on the complaint of a lady resident of village Majhwas PO Devdhar Tehsil Chachoit Distt. Mandi HP that on 09/04/12 she was present in her cowshed, in the mean time a person HP entered in her cowshed and raped her forcibly. He is also beat her up and threatened with dire consequences. CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY, HURT AND INTIMIDATION

8. Case FIR No 89/12 dated 13/04/12 U/S 341,323,504 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat on the complaint of Sh. Raj Kumar S/O Sh Relu Ram R/O Badol PO Jhangi Tehsil Sandhole Distt Mandi (HP) that on 12/04/12 at about 7.45 PM when he was going to his home, on the way Kashmir Singh S/O Sh Bhagmal VPO Jhangi obstructed his way and beat him up. HC Sarwan Kumar I.O. of P.P. Sandhole is investigating the case.

9. 86 challans were issued and fine of Rs. 16,050/- was recovered under M.V.Act, 14 challans were issued under COTPA and fine of Rs. 1500/- was recovered and one challan issued under Mining Act during last 24 hours.

CASE OF CRUELTY BY HUSBAND AND HUSBAND’S RELATIVES

1. Case FIR No. 60/12 dated 11/04/12 U/S 498A, 306, 34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Jogindernagar on the complaint of Sh. Gur Singh S/O Late Sh. Beli Ram R/O Sambla PO Pandoh Tehsil Chachiot Distt. Mandi that his daughter Bhima Devi was married with Dinesh Kumar S/O Sh. Ravi Singh R/O Kuthehra Tehsil Jogindernagar Distt. Mandi during the year 2007. After 6/7 months of her marriage, her husband and mother-in-law Smt. Rupa Devi started to torture and beat her up. Due to their harassment on 11/04/12 his daughter took some poisonous substance along with her minor son Aditya and daughter Aditi. His daughter Bhima Devi and her minor son Aditya died due to consumption of poisonous substance whereas her minor daughter Aditi is under treatment at C.H. Jogindernagar. SI Rajender Kumar, Addl. SHO P.S. Jogindernagar is investigating the case.

2. Case FIR No. 58/12 dated 11/04/12 U/S 149, 341, 323, 120B, 201, 202, 217, 218 IPC has been registered in P.S. Jogindernagar on the written complaint of Sh. Saurabh Guleria S/O Sh. Yesh Pal R/O Dharrear PO Jalpehar Tehsil Jogindernagar Distt. Mandi received U/S 156 (3) of Cr.P.C. in P.S. Jogindernagar that on 04/04/12 at about 11 PM he was going towards his car parked near bus stand Jogindernagar along with his brother Gaurav Guleria, Munish, Ankush, Lakhan Pal and Raman Sharma. Sh. Sarvesh Kumar, Constable   6^th I.R.Bn. along with 15-20 police officials came there and beat him up along with his friends and brother. Police officials restrained to him and his friends at Police Station and Dr. Jayant, MO of C.H. Jogindernagar also did not examine him medically. Inspr. Bishan Dass SHO P.S. Banwar PO Pipli Tehsil Jogindernagar Distt. Mandi that he is serving in HPSEB Ltd. On 10/01/12 Contractor Inder Singh S/O Sh. Kundan Singh R/O Pohal PO Pipli Tehsil Jogindernagar Distt. Mandi cut down the tress from his land with JCB without his consent he was also threatened to him. ASI Subhash Chand I/C PP Bassi is investigating the case.

4.      Case FIR No 88/12 dated 11/04/12 U/S 363, 366, 120B IPC has been registered  in P.S. Sarkaghat on the complaint of Jai Singh S/O Sh Parma Ram  Village Lalana PO Marhi  Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt Mandi that on 04/04/12 his minor daughter Nisha Devi went to school but she did not returned back till date. He suspect that Rakesh Kumar S/O Sh Kuldeep, Vidya Devi W/O Kuldeep, Kali Dass S/O Sudama, Pappi Devi W/O Sh. Ishwar Dass kidnapped/abducted her.  ASI Sushil Kumar, Incharger P.P. 5.      Case FIR  No. 109/12 dated 12/04/12 U/S 325,323,504 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Smt. Kamla Devi W/O Soni Lal R/O Lunapani PO Bhangrotu Tehsil Sadar Distt Mandi that on 31/03/12 at about 5.15 PM when she was sitting in her house, in the mean time her  husband Soni Lal started  abusing her and he also beat her up. Mandi that on today at about 11.15 AM  he was present in his shop, in the mean time Jitender Kumar @ Kalu S/O Ravi Singh R/O Rathoha came to his shop and he started to abuse him and also beat him up.  SI Rajinder Singh I/O PS Balh is investigating the case.

7. Case FIR No. 108/12 dated 12/04/12 U/S  279, 337IPC and 187 M.V. Act has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Banarsi Dass S/O Sh. Saju Ram R/O VPO Balt Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi that on today at about 8.45 AM when he reached near  Medical College’s gate for his duty, in the mean time a M/Cycle (HP32-0709) came very rashly and hit him and sped away from the spot.  SI Chhota Ram I.O. of  PS Balh is investigating the case.

CASE OF MISSING

8. Subhash Chand S/O Sh. Jagiri Lal R/O Kasarla PO Ratti Distt Mandi reported that on 11/04/12  his daughter namely Suman kumari aged about 17 years old went to school at Bhangrotu for taking admission in 10+2 class but she did not come back so far. He carried out her search every where but she could not be traced out.  Efforts are afoot to trace out the above missing girl.

Mandi that today at 05.45 AM he was going to his home and on the way Ramesh Kumar. Krishan Chand, Ram Chand and Jagdish Kumar R/O Gaddal obstructed his way and beat him up. 10. Case FIR No. 86/12 dated 12/04/12 U/S 341/143 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi by Inspr. Surender Kumar SHO P.S. Sadar Mandi that today he was present at BBMB Colony at Jaral, where 20/22 ladies and gents were protesting against BBMB management that the workers who have completed 240 days are not regularized by the BBMB management. They also demanded work for them for 365 days. The above persons obstructed the N.H. 21 from 11 AM to 11.35 AM. ASI Ram Lal I/C PP Pandoh is investigating the case.

11. Case FIR No. 42/12 dated 12/04/12 U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in P.S. Aut on the complaint of Smt. Punam Pathania W/O Sh. Dharamveer Pathania R/O Vill. Jhiri PO Nagwain Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi that she was going on morning walk along with her husband at Jhiri, in the mean time a truck (PB10DC-8356) came very rashly and hit her and she sustained injuries. Balh that on 10/04/12 at about 03.45 PM he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Dadour and during the course of patrolling he found that three persons were shouting and making noise loudly and they were creating nuisance at public place. Chattri Tehsil Thunag Distt Mandi HP that he parked his JCB machine at Shilhi Ruhamani towards Chattri road and on 08/04/12 some unknown persons stolen away an hydrolyic pump & oil of the JCB at during the intervening night of 08-09/04/12. Druman Saploh PO Suradi Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi that Puran Chand R/O Vill. Druman Saploh PO Suradi Tehsil & PS Sadar Distt. Mandi obstructed her way and beat her up. CASE OF CHEATING

9. Case FIR No.78/12 dated 09/04/12 U/S 419 IPC & U/S 7 of the Himchal Pradesh of Malpractices at University, Board and other Specified Examination Act, 1984 has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi on the written complaint of Principal Vallabh Govt. Post Graduate College Mandi that on 29/10/11 during the evening session, paper of BCA at Vallabh Govt. College Mandi unfair means (impersonation) was detected that two candidates namely Dhiraj Kumar S/O Sh. Bhup Singh of BCA 1st having roll No. 6727 and Ghanshyam S/O Sh. Jhabe Ram of BCA 1st having roll No. 6728 both from Noble College of Education (Pvt.) Pandoh Distt. Mandi. They both deliberately exchange their seats and also forged signatures of each other. A case was framed under examination conduct rules and forwarded to H.P. University Shimla for placing it before the UMC Committee. HPU Shimla has directed vide letter No.-1/DR/UMC/BCA/Mandi./6727 & 6728 dated 19/03/12 that it is not a case of UMC but it is a case of impersonation for which FIR in this regard with the local police should be lodged and above case is registered on the basis of above complaint along with relevant documents were received in P.S. Sadar Mandi that on 09/04/12 he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Bindrawani and during the course of patrolling he found that Naresh Kumar S/O Sh. Madan Mohan Dhiman R/O Bindrawani Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi has stopped a truck on N.H. 21 which is causing obstruction to the general public. HC Shiv Singh No. 894 I.O. of P.S. Tanuj Vaidya S/O Sh Yoginder Vaidya R/O Plot No 8 Industrial area Souli-Khud, Distt Mandi at present A.V. Auto Pvt. Ltd. Plot No 59/60 Industrial Area near Hanumaan Mandir Baddi Distt Solan HP that on 07/04/12 at about 8.40 PM. The complainant was coming by Bus Tata AC from Chandigarh to Mandi and when he reached in Bus Stand Mandi, he found that his Laptop was stolen away by some unknown person. Sadar Mandi on the complaint of Sh Devender Kumar S/O Sh Desh Raj R/O Vill Puhara PO & Tehsil Shahpur Distt Kangra HP at present Conductor in HRTC Depot Chamba that today at about 2.15 AM HRTC Bus No (HP73-1801) which was bounded from Chamba to Manali when reached at Bindrabani, a Car (HP 33-A-2139) came from Pandoh side toward Mandi very rashly and struck with above HRTC bus. Driver of said car sustained injuries and admitted to Z.H. Mandi. HC Chaman Lal No. 12 I.O. of P.P. Pandoh is investigating the case.

CASE OF EXCISE ACT

13. Case FIR No. 57/12 dated 10/04/12 U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has s been registered in P.S. Jogindenagar by ASI Gobind Paul I.C PP ladbharol that on 09/04/12 he was on patrolling along with other police official at Ladbharol and during the course of patrolling he found that Krishan Lal S/O Late Sh. Kishori Lal R/O VPO Ladbharol Distt. Mandi was selling wine in his tea shop ad he recovered 5250 ML country liquor from his possession. Accused has been arrested and further investigation of the case is being carried out by ASI Gobind Pal I/C PP Ladbharol.

1.     Case FIR No. 33/12 dated 08/04/12 U/S 279,337 IPC has been registered in P.S. Padhar on the complaint of Sh. Prem Singh S/O Sh. Kalu Ram R/O Vill. Katipari Tehsil Padhar Distt. Mandi that on 08/04/12 at about 11 AM he along his brother-in-law Nanak Chand and his wife Chameli Devi were going towards Padhar on foot and when they reached at Kothi, a tempo (HP76-0122) came from Narla side very rashly and hit his brother-in-law Nanak Chand which was driven by Ankush Sharma S/O Sh. Piar Chand R/O VPO & Tehsil Padhar Distt. Mandi. HC Hari Singh No. 407 I.O. of P.S. Padhar.

2.     Case FIR No. 38/12 dated 08/04/12 U/S 283 IPC has been registered in P.S. Aut by HC Jagdish Chand No. 36 I.O. of P.S. Aut that on 08/04/12 he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Aut and during the course of patrolling he found that Israeal S/O Sh. Mausam Ali H.No. 133 Muhalla Rakhona-1 Gramnagar Rakhona Distt. Bharaich (UP) was selling eatable items on the road side by installing his Rehari which was causing obstruction to the general public. HC Jagdish Chand No. 36 I.O. of P.S. Aut is investigating the case.

3.     Case FIR No.75/12 dated 08/04/12 U/S 283 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi by HC Raj Mal No. 856 I.O. of P.S. Sadar Mandi that he was on patrolling and traffic checking at Chadyara near Rani-Ki-Bain and during the course of patrolling and checking traffic he found that some parked vehicles were causing obstruction to the general public & traffic.  HC Raj Mal No. 856 I.O. of P.S. Sadar Mandi is investigating the case.

ARREST OF ACCUSED IN PREVIOUS CASE

4.     Accused Mast Ram S/O Sh. Nihala Ram, Rakesh Kumar @ Rinku S/O Mast Ram, Ramesh Jumar @ Golu S/O Sh. Masat Ram R/O Vill. Bhairu Stain PO Ahju Tehsil Jogindernagar Distt. Mandi were arrested on 08/04/12 by ASI Satpal Singh I.O. of P.S. Jogindernagar who were wanted in case FIR No. 56/12 dated 06/04/12 U/S 302,341,323,506,34 IPC and they are being produced in the Ld. Court of JMIC Jogindernagar.

1.     Case FIR No.41/12 dated 7/4/12 U/S 341,323, 34 IPC has been registered  in PS Gohar on the complaint of Sh. Nikhil Raj S/O Sh. Tilak Raj  Vill. Phatoh PO Bhager Tehsil Gumarwin Distt. Bilaspur at present C/O Student of MG Collage Badhu Distt. Mandi that on 4/4/12 at about 6 pm he and his friend Pawan Negi were coming back from the Badhu Bazzar to his hostel and in the meantime Smt.Koshilya Devi , Shodha Devi , Ankush and other 6/7 girls came there and they all obstructed his way and beat  him up.  Case is being investigating by the HC Prabhakar Ram I/O PS Gohar.

CASE OF CRIMINAL TRESSPASS, HURT AND INTIMIDATION

2.     Case FIR No. 42/12 dated 7/04/12 U/S 451, 323, 504 IPC has bben registered in PS Gohar on the complaint of Sh. Rajeev S/O Sh. Ram Krishan at present Principal M.G.I.G.T.Bhadhu Tehsil Chachoit Distt. Mandi that on 4/4/12 at about 7.45pm Sh. Nikhil S/O Sh.Tilak Raj Distt. Bilaspur at present Student M.G. Polytechanical Badhu entered into girl hostel in drunken condition and started beating girls and hostel Warden. HC Inder Singh No.35 I/O of P.S. Gohar is investigating the Case.

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

3.     Case FIR.No. 30/12 dated 7/4/12 U/S 279, 337IPC has been registered in P.S. BSL Colony on the complaint of Sh. Neem Chand S/O Sh. Chhaju Ram R/O Vill. Balag PO Balag Tehsil Sunder Nagar that on 7/4/12 he was going to his home along with Bhagat Ram driver Jeep No HP 65 0188 at about 5.30 PM while said jeep reached near Jandroh in the mean time one M/CYCLE  No HP 31 4981 on  which three persons were sitting came from Kateru side very rashly and negligently hit with the above said  jeep. This incident occurred due to the rash and negligent driving of the rider of the above said M/Cycle and they sustained injuries. Case is being investigating by HC. Sant Singh N0 8 I/O of PS BSL COLONY SNR.

4.     Case FIR No.43/12 dated 8/4/12 U/S 283 IPC has been registered in PS Gohar  by the HC Deep Chand No. 910 that  today he was on patrolling along with other police officials at the Chail Chownk Bazaar the he found that the owner of the private Bus No HP 65 7576  Roshan Lal Thakural S/O Gain Ram Vill. Bhaur P.O.Kanaid Tehsil SunderNagar parked his bus on the road which is causing obstruction to the traffic and general public. HC Deep chand No. 910 I/O of P.S. Gohar is investigating the case.

5.     Case FIR No. 44/12 dated 8/04/12 U/S 283 IPC has been registered in PS Gohar by ASI Hans Raj that today at about 11.45 am when he was on patrolling along with other police officials at the Chail Chownk Bazzar then he found that the owner of the private bus No HP34 A 3684 Murari lal S/O Bhup  Singh Vill. Ghanyari P.O.Gohar parked his bus on the road which is causing obstruction to the general public and traffic. Case is being investigated by the ASI HansRaj I/O P.S. Gohar.

Aut by HC Prakarm  No. 904 that  today  at about 1.15 pm he was on patrolling along with other police official at the Aut bazzar then he found that Man Dass S/o Shesh Ram R/O Panou P.O.Aut  Distt. Mandi was selling the Manyari Material on the road which is causing obstruction to the general public and traffic. HC Prakarm I/O of P.S. Aut is investigating the case.
