Samsoh PO Gahar Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi that on 20/07/14 Prakasho Devi, Sushma Devi, Rakesh Kumar R/O vill. Jhandi Distt. Hamirpur (HP) family members of her in-laws  along with other three  persons came in village  Samsoh entered in her house and beat her up. ASI  Rakesh Kumar  I.O. of P.S. Sarkaghat is investigating the case. 

 

CASE OF KIDNAPPING

1. Case FIR No. 228/14 dated  U/S  366 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of  a woman resident of  R/O  vill. Dhawan Tehsil Balh Distt. Mandi (H.P.) that  her daughter is missing from  her home since  15/07/14  and she suspect that  Narender Kumar S/O  Sh. Chamaru Ram  R/O  Chhatrel  Distt. Mandi  (HP) kidnapped  her daughter  with the  intention to marry  her.  SI  Sandeep  Sharma   I/O  of P.S. Balh is investigating the case.

    

CASE OF CRIMINAL BREACH OF TRUST

1. Case FIR No 121/14 dated 21/07/14 U/S 406,409 IPC has been registered in P.S. Jogindernagar on the written complaint of Sh.  Ramesh Chand Sharma S/O Sh. Rikhi Ram Sharma R/O Vill. H. No. 145/2 Haripur (Golbag) PO Sundernagar Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi (HP) at present working in the O/O the Enforcement Officer/P.F.I  Employees Provident Organization Dr. Jagdish Chand Building Distt. Kullu (HP) that  M/S Leroy Intra Private Ltd near link road Khaddar PO Bassi Tehsil  Jogindernagar  establishment is  covered under the provisions of  Employees Provident Funds & Miscellaneous Provisions Act 1952 and Schemes framed there under. The  employer of this establishment is under statutory  obligation to deduct the employees share of provident funds contributions from the contributions /charges .The amounts thus deducted from wages /salaries is of the nature of  trust money  with the employer. During the course of inspection of the establishment it has been noticed that the employer of above establishment had deducted the employees share of contributions from their wages/salaries for the period  April, 2013 to  May,  2014 but said employer has not been deposited the so  deducted amounts into said salary funds. 1.Case FIR No. 227/14 dated 19/07/14 U/S 39 of H.P. Excise Act  has been registered in P.S. Balh by ASI  Jagdish Kumar I/O of P.S. Balh that on 19/07/14 at  about 6.30 PM he was on patrolling along with police party at Behna  and during the course of patrolling he recovered 4 liters illicit liquor from the possession of   Roopo Lal @ Kishnu  S/O Sh. Bhagat Ram R/O VPO Behna   Distt. Mandi (HP).  ASI Jagdish Kumar I.O. of P.S. Balh is investigating the case.

 CASE OF PUBLIC SAFETY

2. Case FIR No. 85/14 dated 19/07/14 U/S 283 IPC has been registered in P.S. Aut by HC Rajinder Kumar No. 51 I.O. of P.S. Aut that on 19/07/14 he was on patrolling along with other police officials near Markanda Temple Aut and during the course of patrolling he found that Amar Singh S/O Sh. Purshotam Singh VPO Aut laid down the heaps of stone and soil on NH 21 which is causing obstruction to the general public. HC Rajinder Kumar I.O. of P.S. Aut is investigating the case.

3. Case FIR No. 86/14 dated 20/07/14 U/S 279,337 IPC has been registered in P.S. Aut on the complaint of Sh. Subhash Sharma S/O Sh. Devi Dayal R/O Vill. Pachahu PO Sachyani Distt. Kullu (HP) that today he was standing on NH 21 at Takoli, in the mean time a person namely Jogi Ram S/O Sh. Sauju Ram was crossing the road and a Tempo (HP34B-5871) came from Kullu side towards Mandi very rashly and hit said Jogi Ram who fell down on the road and sustained injuries. Luharad PO Bhargaon Tehsil Sadar,Distt Mandi (HP)  at present Conductor in HRTC Depot Mandi, that on 18/07/14 at about 2.00 PM when he was on duty on the  Mandi Pairi rout with HRTC bus (HP65-1618) and when said bus was ready to left out from the bus stand to its destination, a person namely Nittu S/O Sh.  Girdhari R/O  Village Pasta Pairi who was sitting inside the bus beat him up and also torn  his uniform.   ASI Chatter Singh I.O. of  P.S. 3. Case FIR No. 225/14 dated 18/07/14 U/S 279,337 IPC and U/S 187 M.V. Act has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Nirmal Singh S/O Sh. Shyam Singh R/O Bagla PO Barsu Tehsil Balh Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 18/07/14 a car (PB29P-3555) came very rashly from Mandi side and hit M/Cycle (HP33B-4631) due to which M/Cycle rider along with pillion were sustained injuries and said car sped away from the spot. AWARENESS PROGRAM FOR STUDENTS

1. Today Mandi Police  organized an awareness programme to the students of the Govt. Degree College Mandi in which students were aware about the laws relating to  M.V. Act, IT Act and about the menace of drugs.

1. Case FIR No. 222/14 dated 17/07/14  dated 306, 34 IPC has been registered in P.S.  Balh on the complaint of  Sh. Gopal  Singh  S/O Late Sh. Mohan Lal  R/O  Mahan P.O. Khalanu Tehsil  Kotli Distt. Mandi (H.P.)  that he is  serving  in the IPH Department  and his younger  daughter Ranjna Devi  marred with  Devender Kumar  S/O Sh. Kanshi  Ram  R/O  Kotli Gehri   Distt. Mandi (H.P.) On   17/07/14  he came to know that  his daughter has died at  zonal  Hospital   and he suspect that  his  daughter  had  died  due to   regular  harassment of  her  husband and   her mother-in-law . Mandi (HP) that on 15/07/14 he along with his cousin Brestu Ram were going to Nerchowk by their scooty (HP33A-3855) and when they reached near Chakkar he lost control over it and his scooty struck with a tipper (HP56-4909) and they sustained injuries. CASE OF  CHEATING & FORGERY  

3. Case FIR No. 247/14 dated 15/07/14  U/S 419,420,467,468,471 IPC has been registered  in P.S. Sarkaghat on the complaint of Sh. Prem Singh R/O Village Bastala PO Naubahi Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt Mandi (HP) that a case of land dispute was under trail  in the Ld Court of Divisional Commissioner,  Mandi, and on 21/09/12 ACO Lekh Ram was deputed to his village for recording the statement of the complainant and his wife Soma Devi and  after recording the statement his wife Soma Devi signed her statement and he also signed on her statement as  witness after recording the statement of his wife. But some time after his  appeal dismissed from the Ld. Court of Divisional Commissioner Mandi as ACO Lekh Ram submitted a forged statement in the Ld court instead of original statement of his wife Soma Devi which come to his notice after taking the copy of the nakal and statement of his wife from the Ld. BSL Colony Sundernagar that on 14/07/14 he was on patrolling along with other police officials and during the course of patrolling  he recovered 2 liters illicit liquor from the possession of Smt. Bhawna Devi W/O Sh. Balwant Singh R/O Vill. Palouhta PO Upper Behli Tehsil Sundernagar District Mandi  (HP). ASI Trilok Chand I.O. of P.S. BSL Colony Sundernagar is investigating the case.

CASE OF RASH AND NEGLIGENT ACT  

4. Case FIR No. 168/14 dated 15/07/14 U/S 336,304A IPC has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi on the complaint of Sh. Amar Singh S/O Late Sh. Chamaru Ram R/O Roparu Banog PO Lagdhar Tehsil Kotli Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 10/07/14  Lineman Gauri, Jaggu along with their another colleague came to his house to remove some electrical faults and they informed on the same day to him that they had got repaired  electric faults of his house. On 14/07/14 at about 8.30 PM he went towards bazaar side and after some time  Raj Kumar informed him that his mother and father fell-down due to electric shock and when he reached at home he found that his mother and father were died due to electric shock and this incident took place due to negligent act of above mentioned employees of the electricity department. Mandi (HP) that on 12/07/14 Dumani Ram S/O Sh. Puran Chand R/O Latosa PO Chhaprahan Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi (HP) obstructed her way and beat her up and she sustained injuries and an ear ring of her also lost in this incident. HC Jagdish Chand No. 36 I.O. of P.S. 6. Case FIR No. 156/13 dated 14/07/14 U/S 429,427 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar on the complaint of Sh. Jai Singh S/o Sh. Chint Ram R/O Vill. Chajwar PO Maloh Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi (HP) that Dharmesh Gupta stored soil on his land. On 14/07/14 when he came to his cowshed he found that due to heavy rainfall said stored soil fell down and entered in the cow shed of he complainant and a calf of his cow died in his cowshed. Mandi (HP) that on 14/07/14 a sooty came from Dinak side very rashly and hit a lady namely Shinduri Devi at Dhandrass and rider of said scooty also pelted stones upon him and Sh. Laxman Dass who was also along with there. HC Tek Chand No. 03 I.O. of P.S. Sundernagar is investigating the case.

8. Case FIR No. 158/14 dated 15/07/14 U/S 341,323,34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar on the complaint of Sh. Virender Kumar Sharma S/O Late Sh. Sumant Sharma R/O Vill. Chakli PO Slapper Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 14/07/14 Naresh Kumar and Rajender Kumar obstructed his way and beat him up. HC Tara Chand No. 896 I.O. of P. P. Slapper is investigating the case.

9. 156 challans were issued and fine of Rs. 23,100/- was recovered under M.V. Act and  14  challans were issued under COTPA  and fine of Rs. 1400/-  was recovered  during last 24 hours.
