NATIONAL POLICE COMMEMORATION DAY

1. Every year on October 21, tribute is paid to the policemen who sacrifice their lives while discharging their duties. This  day is observed as National Police Commemoration Day in their remembrance. Today Mandi Police paid the tribute at P.L. Mandi led by Sh. Ajay Kumar Yadav, IPS, W/IGP CR Mandi  to the policemen of all states and paramilitary forces who sacrificed their lives while discharging their duties.

2. Case FIR No. 110/15 dated 20/10/1/5  U/S 283 IPC has been registered in P.S. BSL  Colony Sundernagar  by  HC Ram Lal No. 543 that on 20/10/15   he was on patrolling alongwith other police officials  at Sundernagar Bazaar  and during the course of patrolling he  found that  a Rehari was laid on the  road by  Jamuna Dass S/O Sh. Gokul  R/O  Sujanpur Tehsil Bareli (UP)  which was causing  obstruction to  general  public as well as traffic.  HC Ram Lal  No. 543  I.O. of  P.S. Sundernagar is investigating  the case.

3. Case FIR No. 167/15 dated 21/10/15  U/S 279, 337  IPC has been registered in P.S.  Jogindernagar on the complaint of Sh. Manjit Singh S/O Sh. Vidhi Singh  R/O  Lower Chauntra PO  Chauntra Tehsil Jogindernagar Distt. Mandi  (HP)  that on 20/10/15  about  11 PM  when he was present in his home , in the mean  he heard the  loud noise   and  he  rushed to   the spot and found that  a  vehicle (HP32-7333)  collided with   a telephone  poll  which was driven by   Anil Kumar  S/O Sh. Pinka Ram  R/O  Kas Tehsil Jogindernagar (HP)  and another person  namely  Rakesh S/O Sh.  Pinka Ram R/O  Kas Tehsil  Jogindernagar also boarded   said  vehicle  and they  both  sustained injuries.  This incident  occurred due to rash and negligent driving  of   above  said  vehicle driver.  ASI  Tarsem Singh  I/C of PP Ghatta is investigating  the case.

4.  Case FIR No. 257/15 dated 21/10/15 U/S 283  IPC has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar  by  ASI  Balak Ram I.O. of P.S. Sundernagar that he was on patrolling alongwith other police officials  at Cinema Chowk and during the course of patrolling he found  a heap  of bricks  was laid on the road by  Rajesh Kumar  S/O Sh. Sukh Ram R/O House No. 121/4 Bhojpur Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi (HP)  which was causing obstruction  to the general  public as well as traffic. ASI  Balak Ram  I.O. of  P.S. Sundernagar is investigating  the case.

5. Case FIR No. 258/15  dated 20/10/15 U/S  39 of HP Excise Act has  been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat by  ASI  Chiranji Lal I/C of PP Hatli  that he was on patrolling alongwith other police officials  and during the course of patrolling he recovered  2500 ML Country Liquor from the possession of  Ranjeet Singh  S/O Sh. Amar Singh  R/O  Kot Tehsil Baldwara Distt. Mandi (HP).  ASI  Chiranji  Lal  I/C  of  PP Hatli is investigating the case.

1            Case FIR No. 280/15 dated 19/10/15 U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on  the complaint of Sh. Roop Lal S/O Sh. Mani Ram R/O Chalakha PO  Balh Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 19/10/15  when he was  present in his shop at Bhangrotu, in the mean time  a Motor Cycle(HP33D-2589)  came rashly from  Lunapani side  and  hit to  Tarsem Lal  S/O Sh.  Dault Ram R/O  Bhangrotu   Tehsil Balh Distt. Mandi (HP) and  sustained injuries   HC Dharamender Singh  No. 77  I.O. of P.S.  Balh is investigating the case.

2          Case FIR No. 281/15 dated 20/10/15 U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in  P.S.  Balh on the complaint of Sh. Surender Kumar S/O Sh. Bali Ram R/O  Nalsar PO Rajgarh Tehsil Balh Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 20/10/15  when he was present at  Nalsar, in the mean time a  Scooty(HP28C-0265) came rashly from Baggi side  and collided with  a Motor Cycle(HP33D-3358)  due to which  riders of above  both  vehicles sustained injuries .  SI  Vikas Kumar I.O. of P.S. Balh is investigating the case.

3          Case FIR No. 256/15 dated 20/10/15  U/S 20 of NDPS Act has been registered in P.S.  Sundernagar  by  HC Tek Chand No. 03  I.O. of P.S. Sundernagar that on 20/10/15  he   laid a nakka   alongwith other  police officials  at Pungh and during  the  course of checking of   a HRTC  Bus ( HP42-1243)  he recovered  47 Gram Charas  from the possession of  Shubham Sharma S/O Sh.  Hans Raj  Sharma R/O House No.  B-11/365, Gandhi Nagar, Jalandhar (PB) 22 years old .   HC  Tek  Chand  No.03 I.O. of P.S. Sundernagar is investigating the case.

4          Case FIR No. 118/15 dated 19/10/15 U/S  279, 429 IPC has been registered in  P.S. Aut on the  complaint of  Sh. Sukardeen S/O Sh. Dalmeer Singh  R/O  Khoti Nala P.O.   Hanogi Tehsil Aut Distt. Mandi  (HP)  that he was  coming  from Kullu  to Mandi  alongwith  his pet  Buffalos. When he  reached near Panarsa, in the mean time  a Jeep Bolero (HP66-0536) came  rashly  from Kullu side and  hit his one Buffalo  and ran away from the spot .ASI  Mohar Singh  I.O. of P.S. Aut is investigating the case.

5         Case FIR No. 134/15 dated 19/10/15  U/S  323, 336, 506  IPC has been registered in P.S. Karsog  on the complaint of Sh. Vir Singh S/O Sh. Dhayan Singh R/O  Kuidhar PO Gopalpur Tehsil  Karsog Distt. Mandi (HP) that  on 19/10/15  Ramesh S/O Sh.  Narayan Singh  R/O  Shinhj PO  Pokhi Tehsil Karsog Distt. Mandi (HP) beat him up,  he sustained  injuries and also  threatened  him  with dire consequence. ASI  Amar I.O. of  P.S. Karsog is investigating the case.

Basahal PO Chauntra Tehsil Jogindernagar Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 18/10/15 at about 07:30PM she was present at her home in the mean time, Maya Devi W/O Sh. Shali Ram ,Ravi Kumar S/O Sh. Shali Ram R/O Vill. Basahal PO Chauntra Tehsil Jogindernagar Distt. Mandi  entered  in her courtyard  abused and beat her up. They also threaten her with dire consequences.  ASI Sukesh Kumar I/O  PS Jogindernagar is investigating the case.

Mandi (HP) that on 18/10/15 at 10:15PM he was going to his home along with his cousin namely  Karan in the mean time a  Mahindra Jeep(HP53-9285) came rashly  from Mandi side and hit to him  alongwith  three other persons, and sped  away from the spot  whiche was driven  by Rakesh Kumar S/O Sh. Dilvar Ram R/O Vill. Lulani PO Dharer Tehsil Baijnath Distt. Kangra (HP). ASI  Sukesh Kumar  I.O. of P.S  Jogindernagar is investigating the case.

3          Case FIR No. 156/15 dated 19/10/15 U/S 420, 467, 468, 471  IPC has been registered in P.S. Gohar on the  written complaint of    Sr. Superintendent of Post, Distt. Post   Office Mandi  that   Sh.  Nok Singh  S/O Sh. Jai  Ram  R/O  Keoli Post office Sunah Lumbathach Tehsil Thunag Distt. Mandi  made  misappropriated  Govt. money  amounting  to  Rs. 8,69688/-  by  using  forged  documents   when   he     was  posted  as  a  Gramin  Dak Sevak at  Sunah  Lambathach  under Sub Post Office  Thunag. 3. Case FIR No. 255/15 dated 18/10/2015 U/S 279,337 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi on the complaint of Smt. Madhu Devi W/O Sh. Basant Singh R/O Vill. Satahan PO Lagdhar Tehsil Kotli Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 18/10/2015 she was going to her home by HRTC bus (HP65-4637) along with her mother Shakuntla Devi and brother Shashi and when they reached near village Kushmal driver of said bus lost control over it and hit said bus with a tipper which was coming from opposite side and in this incident her mother and brother sustained injuries. Mandi (HP) that on  16/10/2015 at about 11:05 PM  he was present at his home in the mean   a truck(HP-64B-4599) which  was coming from Bhiuli side  fell down  on his house and timber store. 5.       Case FIR No. 106/15 dated 16/10/15 U/S 283 IPC has been registered in PS BSL Colony by ASI Shiv Kumar that on  16/10/15 at about 4:00 PM  he was on patrolling  along with  other police officials near Tail Control and during the course of patrolling he found that  Ramesh Kumar S/O Sh. Ramu Ram R/O Derdu PO Kapahi Tehsil Sunder Nagar was selling pani puri (gol gappe) by laying Rehari on the road side which was causing obstruction to the general public.   ASI Shiv Kumar I/O PS BSL Colony is investigating the case.

6.       Case FIR No. 107/15 dated 16/10/15 U/S 283 IPC has been registered in PS BSL Colony by HC Vinod Kumar that on  16/10/15 at about 4:30 PM  he was on patrolling  along with  other police officials near HPSEB Office Changar Colony Sundernagar  and during the course of patrolling he found that  Devi Ram S/O Sh. Choudhry Ram R/O Village Ghangal P.O Mahadev Tehsil Sunder Nagar selling fruits and vegetables by laying rehari on the road side which was causing obstruction to the general public.    HC Vinod Kumar I/O PS BSL Colony is investigating the case.

7.       Case FIR No. 108/15 dated 16/10/15 U/S 283 IPC has been registered in PS BSL Colony by HC Sanjeev Kumar that on  16/10/15 at about 05:45 PM  he was on patrolling  along with  other police officials near Humsafar Hotel Sundernagar and during the course of patrolling he found that Puran Lal S/O Sh. Sohan Lal R/O VPO Sujanpur Tehsil and Distt. Bareli (U.P.) was selling chat by laying his rehari on the road side which was causing obstruction to the general public as well as traffic.  HC Sanjeev Kumar I/O PS BSL Colony Sundrnagar is investigating the case.

8.       Case FIR No. 109/15 dated 16/10/15 U/S 39 of HP Excise Act has been registered in PS BSL Colony Sundernagar by ASI Khalil Ahmad I/C PP Nihari  that on  16/10/15 at about 6:00PM he was on patrolling along with  other police officials   at  Nihari and during the course of patrolling he recovered 9000 ML  country liquor from the possession of Neem Chand S/O Sh. Kundan Lal R/O Vill. Neend (Manaha) Sub.Tehsil- Nihri  Distt Mandi HP.  ASI Khalil Ahmad is investigating the case.

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

9.       Case  FIR No. 116/15  Dated 16/10/2015 U/S  279,337 IPC has  been  registered   in PS Aut by  HC  Durga Dass  I/O PP   Balichowki Distt  Mndi (HP)   that  on   16/10/2015 at 02:00PM a car (HP 32 A-2156)  was coming   from Thachi   towards  Balichowki   and  when    reached  at  Panala  turn, it  fell down about  500-600 meter downwards from the road. In this accident driver  Om Parkash   S/O Sh. Kali Ram   Village  Bungh    PO  Khalwahan  Sub-Tehsil Balichowki  Distt  Mandi  (HP) aged  29  years old   and Sh. Neter Pal  S/O  Sh. Todar Mal  village  Malari    PO  Panjai  Sub-Tehsil Balichowki  Distt  Mandi aged about 16 years old died on the spot.   Sh. Hitashwer  S/O Sh. Roshan lal   Village Segla    PO  Panjai  Sub-Tehsil Balichowki  Distt  Mandi  sustained injuries.  HC Durga Dass  I/O PP Balichowki  is investigating the case.

10.   Case FIR No. 277/15 dated 16/10/2015 U/S 3 of  SC/ST Act has been registered in PS Balh on the complaint of Sh. Daya Ram S/O Sh. Hetu R/O Village Soyara PO Balt Tehsil Balh District Mandi (HP) that on 09/10/2015 at about 09:00 AM  he was working in his fields, in the mean time Kishan Chand and Roop Singh R/O Village Kareri threaten him and also used filthy language to him by caste.  Addl. S.P. Mandi Sh. Kuldeep Chand Rana Distt. Mandi is investigating the case.

11.   Case FIR No. 278/15 dated 16/10/2015 U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS Balh on the complaint of Sh. Ram Krishan S/O Sh. Jagat Ram R/O Village Rakkar PO Ratti Tehsil Balh District Mandi (HP) that on 16/10/2015 at about 07:00 PM he was going on the road side in the mean time a  car  (HP 33B-7137) came from Baggi side very rashly and hit a Motorcycle (PB10DX-2643) and rider of said motorcycle  sustained injuries. ASI Jagidsh Chand I/O PS Balh is investigating the case.

1        Case FIR No. 153/15 dated 16/10/15 U/S 366 IPC has been registered in P.S.  Gohar on the complaint of  a person R/O  Dhawas PO  Bagachanogi Tehsil Thunag Distt. Mandi(HP) that his  wife & daughter(half years old)  is missing since  20/08/15  and he   searched them everywhere in his relations  but  they  have  not been traced so far . 2        Case FIR No. 254/15 dated 15/10/15 U/S 325, 504 , 34  IPC has been registered in P.S.  Sundernagar on the complaint of Sh. Shahjad S/O Sh. Mandi (HP) that on 15/10/15   Hem Raj resident of the  same  locality entered in   the courtyard of his house  and beat up to  Desh Raj S/O Sh. Atma Ram . 4        Case FIR No. 276/15 dated 15/10/15 U/S 341, 323, 504, 34 IPC has been registered in  P.S.  Balh on the complaint of Sh. Hem Raj S/O Sh. Tulsi Ram R/O Batahan PO  Gambar Khad Tehsil Balh  Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 15/10/15  Desh Raj,  Bheem Dutt and Neetu resident of the same locality obstructed his way and beat him up.  HC  Raj  Kumar  No. 27  I.O. of PP Rewalsar is investigating the case.

CASE OF NDPS ACT

1          Case FIR No. 131/15 dated 14/10/15 U/S 20 of NDPS Act has been registered in P.S. Karsog  by  SI  Sunil Kumar SHO of P.S. Karsog that  14/10/15  he was on patrolling alongwith other police officials   and   during the course of patrolling he recovered   2 Kg 265 Gram  Charas   from  the possession of  Shiv   Ram  S/O Sh. Bhim  Singh  R/O  Kutchah PO  Jain Tehsil  Anni Distt. Kullu  (HP).  SI  Sunil Kumar SHO of P.S. Karsog  is investigating  the case.

CASE OF EXCISE ACT

2         Case FIR No. 68/15 dated  14/10/15  U/S 39 of  HP Excise Act has been registered  in P.S.   Dharampur  by  ASI Vinod  Singh  I/O of P.S. Dharampur that  14/10/15  he was on patrolling alongwith other police officials  at  Giun  and during the course of patrolling he recovered   5000  ML  Illicit  Liquor from the possession of  Anju Kumar S/O Sh.  Bhuri  Singh  VPO   Giun Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi (HP)  ASI Vinod Singh  I.O. of  P.S. Padhar is investigating the case.

3          Case FIR No. 251/15 dated 14/10/15 U/S 341, 323, 504, 506 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sadar on the complaint of Sh. Kishori Lal  S/O Sh. Sher Singh R/O  House No. 237/1 Jawahar Nagar Mandi (HP) that on 14/10/15  Mahender Pal  S/O Sh.  Charan Dass  obstructed  his way and beat him up and  also threatened  him with dire consequences.  HC Sanjeev  Kumar  No. 32  I.O. of  PP City  Mandi is investigating the case.

CASE OF CRIMINAL TRESPASS AND HURT

4         Case FIR No. 252/15 dated 14/10/15 U/S 451, 323 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sadar  on the complaint of Smt. Suman Kumari W/O  Late. Sh. Kamal Prakash R/O  Sehal PO  Pairi Tehsil Sadar  Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 14/10/15 Manju Devi  W/O Sh. Pawan Kumar resident of the  same locality  entered in  her  courtyard  and beat her up and  she   sustained  injuries.  ASI  Gian Chand  I.O. of  P.S. Sadar  Mandi is  investigating the case.

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

5         Case FIR No. 250/15 dated 14/10/15  U/S  279, 337  IPC  & U/S  187  MV Act has been registered in P.S. Sadar   on the complaint of Smt.  Anjana Devi  W/O Sh. Rajesh Kumar R/O  House No. 113/12 Ram Nagar Mandi  Distt. Mandi (HP)  that on 14/10/15   she was  going  to bring  her daughter  from  school and  when  reached near Veterinary Hospital Ramnagar, in the mean time  an unknown  vehicle bearing last digit (0021) came rashly from  back side   and hit   to her and she sustained injuries.  HC Sanjeev Kumar No. 32  I.O. of PP City  Mandi is investigating the case.

Mandi (HP)  that on 14/10/15  Yuv Raj,  DalipThakur, Nishu &  Kailash  obstructed his way  and  beat him up and also threatened  him with dire consequences.  HC  Vijay  Kumar No. 411 I.O. of   P.S. Karsog is investigating the case.
