Mandi (HP) that   on 18/04/15  Roshan  Lal   resident of same locality  entered  in the courtyard of  his home  and  beat him up alongwith his wife  and daughter.  ASI  Hari Singh  I.O. of P.S. 4        Case FIR No. 95/15 dated 17/04/15  U/S 447, 147, 149 , 504, 506  IPC has been registered in P.S.   Balh  on the complaint of  Sh. Ashraf Mohd  S/O  Late. Sh. Fazal  Deen  R/O  Dhaban Tehsil  Balh  Distt. Mandi (HP) that on  15/04/15  he was  working in his   land , in the mean time  5/6  persons   entered in his land  and  abused  him  and also threatened  him with dire consequences.  HC Vijay No. 866 I.O. of P.S. Balh is investigating  the case.

5          Case FIR No. 27/15   dated 18/04/15 U/S 41, 42 IF  Act  &  U/S 379  IPC has been registered in P.S.  Padhar  on the complaint of   Tek Chand    at  present   Forest  Beat  Officer  Devgarh that on 17/04/15  he was on  patrolling  alongwith other police officials   and during the course of  checking of   Vehicle (  HP76-1603)   he recovered  72  No. Frames  & 24 No.  of  Planks of  Deodar having  approximate  value  Rs. 1,04,734. Mandi (HP)  that on 17/04/15  he was going towards  Chandigarh by  his  Truck(HP68-2432) and  reached near Pulghrat, in the mean time  a Motor Cycle(PB08CE-5662)  came rashly from Nerchowk side  and  hit  said  truck  and   rider of said  Motor  Cycle  sustained injuries.  HC Ram Singh  No. 66 I.O. of P.S. 1          Case FIR No. 35/15 dated 16/04/15 U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in P.S. BSL Colony Sundernagar  by  Lady  Const.  Anjana Kumari  No. 405  5^th  IRBn  Bassi  Distt. Bilaspur  at present  temporary  attached  PS  BSL Colony  Sundernagar that  on  today i.e.  16/04/15  she was  on   traffic  duty at BSL Colony  Sundernagar  Chowk, in the mean time  a  HRTC Bus( HP31A-9817)   which was driven by  Ram Singh ,  came rashly and met with an accident  and one occupant Nikku  Ram  R/O  Hatgarh Distt. Nathu  Ram  R/O  Kotrovi PO Urla Tehsil Padhar Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 15/04/15  his  Son-in-law, Naresh Kumar S/O Sh. Hirda Ram  R/O  Bir  Tehsil Sadar  Distt. Mandi  (HP)  tried to committed   suicide  by consuming some poisonous material.  HC   Baldev   Chand   No. 896  I.O. of  P.S. Sundernagar is investigating  the case.

Thakur Dass  R/O House No.182/12 Ward No. 12  Ram Nagar Distt. Mandi (HP)  that on 14/04/15 he  was  going by  the Tractor (HP65-3479)  which  was driven by   Khovinder Singh  and   Kansi Ram  S/O Sh. Tej  Bahadur who was under  the influence of alcohol   also boarded  on said  tractor, when they reached  near  Gutkar, in the mean time  said  Kanshi Ram  jumped  from  the tractor  and came beneath the  trolley  tyre and    died at  ZH Mandi.  ASI   Sahib Singh  I.O. of P.S. Megh  Singh  R/O  Chatrri  Tehsil  Thunag  Distt. Mandi which  causing  obstruction to the  general public as well as traffic .  ASI  Jeet  Singh  I/C of  PP Janjehli  is investigating  the case.

Mandi (HP) which was causing  obstruction to the  general public as well as traffic .  ASI  Jeet  Singh  I/C of  PP Janjehli  is investigating  the case.

Mandi (HP) which  causing  obstruction to the  general public as well as traffic .  ASI  Jeet  Singh  I/C of  PP Janjehli  is investigating  the case.

Gohar  by  ASI   Jeet Singh  I/C of  PP Janjehli that  on 12/04/15  he was on patrolling  alongwith other police officials at  Chatrri and during the course  of patrolling  he  found  that  a heap of  stones was  laid on the  road    by    Mohar  Lal  S/O Sh. Shukru Ram  R/O  Tippra PO  Chattri  Tehsil  Thunag  Distt. Mandi (HP) which  causing  obstruction to the  general public as well as traffic .  ASI  Jeet  Singh  I/C of  PP Janjehli  is investigating  the case.

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

 8         Case FIR No. 26/15 dated 12/04/15  U/S 279, 337  IPC has been registered in P.S.  Padhar on the complaint  of   Smt.  Promila Thakur W/O Sh. Rakesh Kumar R/O  Khil PO  Makridi Tehsil Jogindernagar  Distt. Mandi (HP)  that on 12/04/15  she  alongwith  their children,   &  Chita Devi ,  Mamta Devi were coming  by  Car(HP53-0315)  which was  driven by  Nand Lal  and when  they  reached  near  Urla , in the mean time  driver of said  vehicle lost the control   upon the vehicle due to rash driving  and  said  car  fell down 100 Mtrs.  downwards from the road    and  all the  occupants sustained injuries in this mishap.  HC Anil Kumar  No. 412  I.O. of P.S.  Padhar is investigating the case.

CHALLAN

9          128  Challans  were  issued under    M.V. Act    and  fine of Rs.23,800/-  was  recovered  and 8 challans  were  issued  under COTPA and  fine of Rs. 1000/-  was recovered  and 1  challan  was   issued under  Mining  Act and fine of Rs. 4600 /-  was  recovered  during last 24 hours.

    AWARENESS RELATED TO WOMEN SAFETY

1        Today Sh. Rajesh Kumar, HPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police Mandi (HQ)  visited to the Woman Police Station   Mandi  and  apprised the women  towards their safety and rights.

CASE OF EXCISE ACT

2        Case FIR No. 25/15 dated 11/04/15  U/S  39 of HP Excise Act has been registered in P.S.  Padhar by  ASI  Govind  Pal  I/C of  PP  Kamand that he was on patrolling alongwith other police officials at  Nandli and during the course of patrolling he recovered  5250 ML  Country  Liquor from the possession of  Lal Chand  S/O  Late. Sh.  Hukkme Ram  R/O  Nandli PO  Katoula Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi(HP).  ASI  Govind  Pal  I/C of  PP  Kamand  is investigating the case.

3        183  Challans  were  issued under    M.V. Act    and  fine of Rs.31,600 /- was  recovered  and 4 challans  were  issued  under COTPA and  fine of Rs. 500/-   was during last 24 hours.
