CASE OF EXCISE ACT

1.      Case FIR No. 102/12 dated 25/10/12 U/S 61 of Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Padhar by ASI Deepak Kumar that on 25/10/12 at about 6 PM he was present at Kataula in c/w investigation of case FIR No. 63/12 and during the course of investigation of above case he received secrete information and recovered 3000 ML country liquor and 1000 ML illicit liquor from the possession of Harbans S/O Sh. Hari Singh VPO Kamand Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi (HP). Accused has been arrested and further investigation of the case is being carried out by ASI Deepak Kumar I.O. of P.S. Padhar.

2.      Case FIR No. 103/12 dated 26/10/12 U/S 61 of Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Padhar by Sh. Krishan Chand Thakur S/O Sh. Khem Chand Thakur R/O Vill. Ghatta PO Kummi Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi (HP) at present Incharge Flying Squad Team No. II, 30-Drang Assembly Constituency Drang that on 25/10/12 at about 07.30 PM, he along with other officials of his team were on patrolling at Barot Bazaar and during the course of patrolling he recovered 91500 ML (122 bottles) country liquor,  102000 ML (136 bottles) English wine and   5850 ML  (9 bottles) Beer from the possession of Hoshiar Singh S/O Sh. Bhagat Singh R/O VPO Toh Tehsil Bhoranj Distt. Hamirpur (HP). Accused has been arrested by HC Hari Singh No. 407 I.O. of P.S. Padhar and further investigation of the case is being carried out by him.

3.      Case FIR No. 190/12 dated 25/10/12 U/S 61 of Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar by ASI Joginder Singh I.O. of P.S. Sundernagar that on 25/10/12 at 6 PM he was on patrolling along with other police officials and  during the course of patrolling he recovered 5 liter illicit liquor from the possession of Sandeep Kumar S/O Late Sh.Dhani Ram R/O Halel PO Kanaid Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi (HP). Accused has been arrested and further investigation of the case is being carried out by ASI Joginder Singh I.O. of P.S. Jogindernagar.

4. Case FIR No. 290/12 dated 26/10/12 U/S 379 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi on the complaint of Sh. Gulshan Kukreja R/O H. NO. 77/6 Samkhetar Mandi that on 25/10/12 he parked his vehicle (HP65-1619) Tata Ace near Electricity Office Samkhetar and at about 08.30 PM his above vehicle was not found there. HC Inder Singh No. 7 I.O. of P.P. City Mandi is investigating the case.

Riyur Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 24/10/12 at about 04.50 PM an Alto car (HP33B-6970) came from Chowki Chandrahan side and hit to Chet Ram S/O Sh. 2.     Case FIR No. 314/12 dated 24/10/12 U/S 341,323,504,34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Pawanish Guleria S/O Sh. Jagdish Chand R/O Vill. Arthi PO Bhangrotu Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi that on 24/10/12 Palu S/O Sh. Padam R/O Vill. Chalkha along with other four persons obstructed his way and beat him up. SI Chhota Ram I.O. of P.S. Mandi that today he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Bus Stand Sarkaghat and during the course of patrolling he recovered 9000 ML country liquor from the possession of Gopal Singh S/O Sh. Sunka Ram R/O Vill. Narwalka PO Kamlah Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi (HP). Accused has been arrested and further investigation of the case is being carried out by HC Narpat Ram No.886 I.O. of P.S. Sarkaghat.

4.     Case FIR No. 288/12 dated 24/10/12 U/S 279 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sadar on the complaint of Dr. Ghanshyam Bhubhal R/O Vill. Kathlag PO Padhiun Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 20/10/12 at about 06.30 PM a HRTC bus hit his car (HP33C-0555) which was parked nearby Kathlag. HC Anil Kumar No. 406 I.O. of P.S. Sadar Mandi is investigating the case.

 

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

5.     Case FIR No. 289/12 dated 24/10/12 U/S 279,337 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi by HC Shiv Singh No. 894 I.O. of P.S. Sadar Mandi that on 24/10/12 a chassis of a HRTC bus was coming from Nerchowk side towards Mandi which was rolled down from the road near Visco Resorts Mandi and dirver of said chassis of bus sustained injuries. HC Shiv Singh No. 894 I.O.of P.S. Sadar Mandi is investigating the case.

CASE OF BURGLARY AND THEFT

 

1. Case FIR No. 310/12 dated 23/10/12 U/S 454,380 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Smt. Premi Devi W/O Sh. Gurdash Ra, R/O Vill. Doh PO Rewalsar Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi that on 22/10/12 she went to Union Public School Rewalsar to bring her child from school, in the mean time she was informed by her sister-in-law (Jetahni) that main door of her house was opened and almirah was also found opened. When she came back to her home, she found that jewellery of worth Rs. 40,000/- was stolen away by some unknown culprits.  HC Malkiat Singh No. 57 I.O. of P.P. Rewalsar is investigating the case.

4.      Case FIR No. 187/12 dated 23/10/12 U/S 326,504 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar on the complaint of Sh. Chhotu Ram S/O Sh. Budhu Ram R/O Saroh PO Sudahan Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 21/10/12  Sohan Lal S/O Sh. Krishan Lal R/O Saroh PO Sudahan Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi (HP) beat him up and also attacked upon him with a knife. Madan Lal R/O Alsu PO Dehar Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi(HP). SI (Prob.) Sandeep Chaudhary is investigating the case.

Chamroga PO Sainj Bagra Tehsil Karsog Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 23/10/12 Hem Raj S/O Sh. Bhim Singh R/O Vill. Chamroga PO Sainj Bagra Distt. Mandi obstructed his way and beat him up. 9. Case FIR No. 98/12 dated 23/10/12 U/S 279,337 IPC has been registered in P.S. Aut on the complaint of Sh. Suresh Kumar S/O Sh. Shobha Ram R/O Vill. Fruti PO Kothi Distt. Kullu (HP) that on 23/10/12 he along with his friends S/Sh. Vir Chand, Bihari Lal, Devi Singh, Nikka Ram, Lal Singh, Balbir Singh, Shyam Lal, Janjal Ram, Man Singh and  Santosh Kumar went to Kullu by a jeep (HP62A-1693) which was driven by Raj Kumar S/O Sh. Hari Ram R/O Vill. Manchhani PO Kothi Tehsil Sadar Distt. Kullu (HP) and when they reached at Banala More, driver Raj Kumar lost control over said jeep and fell down from the road and they sustained injuries. 2.       Case FIR No. 308/12 dated 22/10/12  U/S 61  of Excise Act has been registered in PS Balh by HC Ram Singh No. 66 I.O. of P.S. Balh that he was on  patrolling alongwith  other Police officials at Ghayater and during the course of patrolling he recovered  45000 ML country liquor from the possession of Jitender Kumar  S/O Sh. Satya Pal  R/o Vill Ghatyer PO Kapahi  Distt Mandi (HP).  Accused has been arrested and further investigation of the case is being carried out by HC Ram Singh No. 66 I/O of  PS Balh.

3. Case FIR No. 309/12  dated 23/10/12  U/S  279, 337 IPC has  been registered  in PS Balh on the complaint of Sh. Yog Raj S/O Thakur  Singh  R/O Vill. Pathan  PO Kot PS Gohar  Distt Mandi (HP) that he is conductor with Ravindera Bus Service (HP32-7315) and today at about 12.15PM when said bus reached at Nerchowk. A L.P. Truck (HP64-8695) came from Mandi side very rashly and hit his bus due to which 14 passengers sustained injuries. HC Kewal Singh No. 20 I.O. of P.S. Balh   is investigating the case.

Bharari PO Sajao Piplu Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi that he is serving as driver in HRTC Depot Sarkaghat. On 22/10/12 at about 05.30 PM Roop Lal S/O Sh. Mandi  that  on 22/10/12 at about  8.45 PM  he was going to his house by his M/Cycle and when reached nearby Talyahar  Bhim Singh  and  Jsswant Singh  obstruct his way and beat him up. CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

1.      Case FIR No. 169/12 dated 21/10/12 U/S 279,337 IPC & 185 M.V. Act has been registered in P.S. Jogindernagar on the complaint of Shripat S/O Sh. Bhikham Ram R/O VPO Dul Tehsil Jogindernagar Distt. Mandi (HP) that he was sitting in a truck along with Ravi Kumar and Praveen which was driven by Ravi Kumar S/O Sh. Dalip Kumar R/O Dul and when said truck reached near Banad, Ravi Kumar lost control over it and hit with a wall due to which said truck fell down on the road. And they all sustained injuries. CASE OF NEGLIGENT CONDUCT WITH RESPECT TO FIRE

2.      Case FIR No. 168/12 dated 22/10/12 U/S 285 IPC has been registered in P.S. Karsog on the written complaint of R.O. Forest Range Seri Tehsil Karsog Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 21/10/12 at about 3 PM suddenly fire broke out in the Dhumru Forest in Kot Kosh beat which was controlled with the help of officials of forest department and local people. 3.      Case FIR No. 306/12 dated 22/10/12 U/S 279,304A IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Nek Ram S/O Sh. Nag Ram R/O VPO Barsu Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi that today at about 01.30 PM he received telephonic call that his father met with an accident who is under treatment in CHC Ratti. On this he reached in CHC Ratti and he came to know that his father was declared brough dead by the M.O.of CHC Ratti. This accident took place due to rash and negligent driving by driver of bus (HP65-1919) Vijay Kumar S/O Sh. Gulab Singh R/O Vinayak PO Bhojput Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi (HP). ASI Baldev Singh I/C Highway is investigating the case.

CASE OF NDPS ACT

1.     Case FIR No. 122/12 dated 20/10/12 U/S 20 of NDPS Act has been registered in P.S. Gohar by SI Naveen Jhalta, SHO P.S. Gohar that  on 20/10/12 at 05.30 PM he laid a nakka along with other police officials at Dadwa Kelodhar and during the nakka he recovered 1 Kg 200 Gram cannabis (Charas) from the possession of Om Prakash S/O Sh. Surjan Singh R/O Vill. Dadwa PO Bada Tehsil Chachiot Distt. Mandi (HP). Accused has been arrested and further investigation of the case is being carried out by SI Naveen Jhalta, SHO P.S. Aut.

2.     Case FIR No. 168/12 dated 20/10/12 U/S 13 of Gambling Act has been registered in P.S. Jogindernagar by SI (Prob.) Sakini Kapoor I.O. of P.S. Jogindernagar that on 20/10/12 at about 6 APM he was on patrolling along with other police official and during the course of patrolling he caught red handed to Chaman Lal S/O Late Sh. Ram Daya; R/O Panjangna PO Dull Tehsil Jogindernagar Distt. Mandi (HP), Suresh Kumar S/O Sh. Baldev Singh R/O Vill. Shanan PO Dull Tehsil Jogindernagar Distt. Mandi (HP), Ravinder Kumar S/O Sh. Jogeshwar Singh R/O Panjangna PO Dull Tehsil Joginderngar Distt. Mandi (HP), Panna Lal S/O Sh. Thakur Singh R/O Vill. Panjangna PO Dull Tehsil Jogindernagar Distt. Mandi (HP) and Praveen Kumar S/O Late Sh. Sonfi Ram R/O Vill. Panjangna PO Dull Tehsil Jogindernagar Distt. Mandi (HP) who were gambling near bridge Mandi. He has also been recovered playing cards and cash amounting to Rs. 1800/- on spot from them. All accused have been arrested and further investigation of the case is being carried out by SI (Prob.) Sakini Kapoor I.O. of P.S. Jogndernagar.

3.     Case FIR No. 186/12 dated 21/10/12 U/S 289 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar on the complaint of Smt. Pawan Kumar W/O Sh. Ramesh Kumar R/O Bhated Slapper PO Sudahan Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi that today at about 07.15 AM she was going to her fields for taking grass and when she reached near the house of Babu Ram, his pet dog bite her from her leg. ASI Shanti Swaroop I/C P.P. 5.     Case FIR No. 286/12 dated 20/10/12 U/S 406 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi on the complaint of Smt. Vandana Rana D/O Sh. Budhi Singh R/O Pali Muhalla Bidlo Ka Bass Badshah Ka Jhanda H. No. 7 Durga Bhawan Distt. Pali Rajasthan at present C/O Sh. Kamal Kant Thakur near Employment Exchange Paddal Distt. Mandi that she gave her golden ornaments to Sujeet Kumar S/O Sh. Ravinder Nath R/O VPO Radha Bhalabpur Tehsil Bali Diwan Ganj West Bengal for sage guard. Now said Sujjet Kumar went to his home along with her ornaments and also switched off his mobile phone. SI Chanchal Singh I.O. of P.S. Sadar Mandi is investigating the case.

6.     Case FIR No. 166/12 dated 20/10/12 U/S 279,337 IPC has been registered in P.S. in P.S. Karsog on the complaint of Smt. Reema Devi W/O Sh. Dilu Ram R/O Vill. Mahota PO Jassal Tehsil Karsog Distt. Mandi  (HP) that a maruti car (HP11-5757) came from Shimla side very rashly and fell down about 100 mtrs. downward. 7.     Case FIR No. 167/12 dated 21/0712 U/S 279,337 IPC has been registered in P.S. Karsog on the complaint of  Sh. Prakash Chand S/O Sh. Durga Dutt VPO Dhawan Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi that he works as salesman in wine shop at Katlu and today at about 10.15 AM he was present in his shop, in the mean time a utility (HP30-2156) came from Karsog side very rashly and fell down about 100 mtrs. downwards from the road and all three occupants of said vehicle sustained injuries. HC Chhaju Ram No. 60 I.O. of P.S. Karsog is investigating the case.

1.     Case FIR No. 281/12 dated 19/10/12 U/S 61 Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat by HC Chaman Lal  No. 28 I.O. I/C Nakka Bhambla that on 19/10/12 at about 07.30 PM he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Batail bazaar and during the course of patrolling he recovered 14,250 ML unclaimed country liquor from back side the Batail bazaar. HC Chaman Lal No. 28 I.O. of Nakka Bhambla is investigating the case.

CASE OF EXCISE ACT

2.     Case FIR No. 303/12 dated 19/10/12 U/S 61 of Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Balh by HC Malkiat Singh No. 57 that on 19/10/12 at about 03.30 PM he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Riyur more and during the course of patrolling he recovered 3150 ML country liquor from the possession of Pushap Raj S/O Sh. Durga Dass PO Riyur Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi. Accused has been arrested and further investigation of the case is being carried out by HC Malkiat Singh No. 57 I.O. of P.S. P.P. Rewalsaar.

CASE OF THEFT

 

3.     Case FIR No. 304/12 dated 20/10/12 U/S 379,411 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Praveen Kumar S/O Sh. Shri Ram  VPO Kurak Tehsil Karnal Distt. Karnal (Haryana) that he is storekeeper in Nagarjun Company. During the intervening night of 19-20/10/12 some unknown culprits stole away material of shuttering from the site. Approximately cost of stolen material is about Rs. 48,000/-. Accused Malkiatt Singh S/O Sh. Kashmir Singh R/O Vill. Panjahda PO Banurhatti Distt. Patiala (PB) at present Kawari Shop at Dadour and Kamla Devi W/O Sh. Hari Dass VPO Bhangrotu Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi (HP) were arrested along with stolen property by HC Lal Siingh P.S. Balh and further investigation of the case is being carried out by hi.

4.     92 challans were issued and fine of Rs. 9,800/-  was recovered under M.V. Act, 13 challans were issued under COTPA and fine of  Rs. 1300/- was recovered and 3 challans were issued under Mining Act during last 24 hours
