CASE OF NDPS ACT

1. Case FIR No. 58/12 dated 13/06/12 U/S 20 of NDPS Act has been registered in P.S. Aut by HC Jagdish Chand No. 36 I.O. of P.S. Aut that on 13/06/12 at 07.40 AM he laid a nakka along with other police officials at Jhalogi more and during the course of patrolling he recovered 700 Gram cannabis (charas) from the possession of Dharmender Singh Bist S/O Sh. Vikram Singh Bist R/O H. No. 1 Gali Muhalla Tapovan Tehsil Narendernagar Distt. Gharwal (Uttrakhand). Accused has been arrested and further investigation of the case is on progress.

CASE OF ESSENTAL COMMODITIES ACT, THEFT AND RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY, EXCISE ACT INCOME TAX ACT

2. Case FIR No. 93/12 dated 12/06/12 U/S 2, 7 of Essential Commodities Act, U/S 379, 411 IPC, U/S 61 of Excise Act and U/S 69,132 Income Tax Act has been registered in P.S. Jogindernagar by SI Naveen Jhalta SHO P.S. Jogindernagar that he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Chauntra Bazaar Mandi and during the course of patrolling he received secret information that Palkey W/O SH. Tsewang R/O Tibetan Colony Chauntra Tehsil Joginderngar Distt. Mandi is in possession of Indian Currency and other house hold items in her house. On this he conducted raid in her house and during the course of search he recovered Rs. 29,63,005/- in cash from her house. SI Anil Kumar SHO of P.S. Jogindernagar is investigating the case.

Joginderngar by SI Rajender Kumar that during the course of patrolling he received information that a house in Chauntra near Jogindernagar has suspected property and person and he arrested following 8 suspects from said house. 1. Chen Chi-Hsuing R/o Republic of China passport No 212747070 date of birth 14 Oct 1977 .5 Hu-Chiu-Din R/o Republic of China passport No 303947421, date of birth 01 Sep 1962 .6 Chen Keo-Pin R/o Republic of China passport No 305501875 date of birth 28 Feb 1970 .7 Wu,Sung-Lung R/o Republic of China passport No 305267777, date of birth 27 Oct 1984 8. Huang Jau-Yuan R/o Republic of China passport No 305101738, DOB 04 May 1985. During the course of verification he found that all above persons have violated Foreigners Act and they all have been arrested and further investigation of the case is being carried out by SI Rajender Kumar I.O. of P.S. Jogindernagar.

4. Case FIR No. 95/12 dated 12/06/12 U/S 279,337 IPC and 187 M.V. Act has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar on the complaint of Sh. Shyam Lal S/O Sh. Ram Saran R/O Vill. Sayun PO Khurahal Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi that on 12/06/12 at about 08.50 PM he along with Sukh Ram and Gaber Singh were going on the side on foot at Slapper and in the mean time a Highwa (HP31C-7400) came from Sundernagar side towards Barmana very rashly and hit Gaber Singh and sped away from the spot. 5. Case FIR No. 59/12 dated 13/06/12 U/S 341,323,504,355 IPC has been registered in P.S. Aut on the complaint of Sh. Lal Chand S/O Sh. Shiv Ram R/O Vill. Guru-Ka-Lahor PO Bassi Tehsil Sh. Naina Devi Ji Distt. Bilaspur at present Shashtri teacher in GSSS Somnachan Sub Tehsil Balichowki Distt. Mandi that on 12/06/12 at 08.45 PM he went from Seri towards Jangi and on the way Din S/O Sh. Narain Dass R/O Nehra PO Balichowki Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi along with another person obstructed his way and beat him up and he sustained injuries. Mandi that on 12/06/12 he was going to Patrighat and when he reached at Parrighat bazaar Ravi Sharma and Lakshi Kant R/O Serli Batahi obstructed his way and beat him up. HC Baldev Chand I.O. of P.P. 7. Case FIR No. 50/12 dated 12/06/12 U/S 379 IPC and U/S 5 of Telegraph Act has been registered in P.S. BSL Colony Sundernagar on the complaint of Sh. Sukh Ram Kehal JTO BSNL Sundernagar that some unknown culprits stole away cable from Mouhan near Ghiri under telephone exchange Bhadu about 900 mtrs. having approximately value of Rs. 1,00,800/-. CASE OF EXCISE ACT

8. Case FIR No. 140/12 dated 12/06/12 U/S 61 Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi by HC Inder Singh No. 7 I.O. of PP City Mandi that on 12/06/12 he was on patrolling at Suhra Muhalla and during the course of patrolling he recovered 750 ML illicit liquor from the possession of Krishan Kumar S/O late Sh. Tata Ram R/O H. No. 183/4 Suhara Mohalla Mandi. Accused has been arrested and further investigation of the case is being carried out by HC Inder Singh No. 7 I.O. of P.S. City Mandi.

CASE OF HURT, GESTURE OR ACT INTENDED TO INSULT THE MODESTY OF WOMAN AND CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION

9. Case FIR No. 141/12 dated 13/06/12 U/S 509,323,504,506,34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi on the complaint of Smt. Bimla Devi W/O Sh. Nikka Ram R/O Vill. Jauli PO Tarnoh Distt. Mandi that on 12/06/12 Chet Ram along with Churamnai, Urmila Devi and Nirmla Devi all resident of the same locality threatened to her and also quarrel with her. HC Raj Mal No. 856 I.O. of P.S. Sadar Mandi is investigating the case.

CASE OF ATTEMPT TO MURDER AND ARMS ACT

10. Case FIR No. 70/12 dated 13/06/12 U/S 307 IPC & U/S 25 of Arms Act has been registered in P.s. Gohar on the complaint of Sh. Jeeva Nand R/O Village Lot PO Nandi Tehsil Chachiot Distt Mandi that today at about 8.45 AM he along with his wife were waiting for Bus towards Gohar in the mean time his brother Tek Chand came there by vehicle No.(HP-01M-0918) along with driver Naresh Kumar and he shot him by gun and sped away from the spot towards Pandoh side and he sustained injuries. CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

11. Case FIR No. 139/12 dated 12/06/12 U/S 279/337 IPC has been registered in P.S.Sadar Mandi on the complaint of Sh. Suraj S/O Sh. Madan Lal R/O Vill. Bhaur PO Kanaid Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi that on 12/06/12 an alto car (HP 28B-1398) came from Mandi side very rashly and hit Pankaj Kumar S/O Sh. Gajdev Singh R/O Vill. Jajrot PO Balt Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi and he sustained injuries. ASI Roop Lal I.O. of P.S. Sadar Mandi is investigating the case.

12. 69 challans were issued and fine of Rs. 10,850/- was recovered under M.V. Act, 6 challans were issued under COTPA and fine of Rs. 600 and 6 chalans were issued under Mining Act during the last 24 hours.

SEIZURE AND ARREST IN JOGINDERNAGAR

Yesterday afternoon police received an information that a house in Chauntra near Jogindernagar has suspected property and persons. On this information police raided the place and recovered 30 lacs and a case FIR No. 93/12 dated 12/06/12 U/S 3 & 7 of Essential Commodities Act, U/S 379,411 IPC, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act and U/S 69,132 Income Tax Act has been registered in P.S. Jogindernagar. During search 8 persons were found working as carpenters and painters in the under construction house. All of them were having Republic of China passport and tourist visa. None of them complied with the section 7 of the Foreigners Act. All 8 were booked and arrested in case FIR No. 94/12 dated 12/06/12 U/S 14 Foreigners Act.

1. Case FIR No 94/12 dated 11/06/12 U/S 448,380 IPC has been registered on the written complaint of Rajeev Khan S/O Sh. Roshan Lal R/O near petrol pump Salah PO Sundernagar Distt. Mandi that he hired a shop on rent basis from Pintu @ Mutshwar S/O Bashir Amman R/O Near Cinema Chowk Bhojpur Sundernagar. On 28/05/12 he went inside his above shop and found that the lock of the shop was broken by Pintu @ Mutshwar S/O Sh. Bashir Amman R/O Near Cinema Chowk Bhojpur Sundernagar owner of the shop and he also locked his shop and he suspects that he stole away the fax machine, photo state machine and other stationary articles of worth Rs. 1,50,000/-. SI Madan Lal I.O. of P.S. Sundernagar is investigated the case.

Mandi that on 11/06/12 she was going to her home along with her husband by a vehicle (HP01-0364) and when they reached near Hanuman temple at Sakor Dalip Singh along with another unknown person obstructed above vehicle, pulled her out from the vehicle and tried to outrage her modesty. Pandoh that he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Baslyan Padhar and during the course of patrolling he recovered 750 ML illicit liquor from the possession of Roshan Lal S/O Sh. Devi Ram R/O Baslyan PO Majhwar Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi. Accused has been arrested and further investigation of the case is being carried out by HC Pawan Kumar No. 919 I.O. of P.P. Pandoh

4. Case FIR No. 168/12 dated 12/06/12 U/S 451,323,34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Tej Ram S/O Sh. Shiv Ram R/O Vill. Mera PO Meramasit Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi that on 12/06/12 he was sleeping in his house in the mean time Hem Singh, Jai Singh, and Hari Ram beat up his mother and wife and they both sustained injuries. HC Ram Singh No. 66 I.O. of P.S. Balh by ASI Lachhi Ram I.O. of Highway Balh that on 11/06/12 at about 06.30 PM he was on duty at Nerchowk, in the mean time he received information that a car & M/Cycle collided with each other at Dadour and he rushed to the spot and found that a car (HP33A-9026) and a M/cycle (HP24A-8156) collided with each other due to rash & negligent driving and driver of car and rider of the M/Cycle sustained injuries. 6. Case FIR No. 57/12 dated 12/06/12 U/S 279,337 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat on the complaint of Sh. Deepak Bhushan S/O Sh. Neelmani R/O Vill. Ukhaldhar Distt. Mandi that on 11/06/12 he was going to school and when he reached at Choolabalu a M/cycle (HP34B-1716) ridden by Om Prakash S/O Sh. Sunka Ram R/O Anni Sub Tehsil Aut came very rashly and negligently and struck with him and he sustained injuries. ASI Shyam Lal I.O. of P.S. Aut is investigating the case.

7. Case FIR No. 149/12 dated 11/06/12 U/S 498A,406, 34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat on the complaint of Smt. Reena Devi W/O Sh. Sahil Chuhan R/O Vill. Sandehra PO Khauda Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi (HP) that her husband, mother-in-law Kaushlya Devi, sister-in-law Kamlesh and brother-in-law Surender Pal did not allow her to enter inside her house and they also threatened her. 8. Kundal Lal S/O Sh. Khayali Ram R/O Gathau PO Ghurkari Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi was arrested U/S 107/157 Cr.P.C. by HC Chaman Lal No. 867 I.O. of P.P. Hattli who is being produced before the SDM Sarkaghat.

2 Case FIR No 57/12 dated 10/6/12 U/S 279, 337 IPC has been
registered in PS Padhar on the complaint of Sh. Sarwan kumar S/O Sh.
Sher singh Village Tandi PO Maralu Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi( HP) at
Present Driver HRTC in Kelong Depot that on 10/06/12 at about 6.40
pm when he reached at place Megal along with HRTC Bus No.( HP66-1563)
on the route Jammu to Kullu , in same time Tipper No.( HP76-0463)
Came Very Rashly and Negligently from Mandi side and hit the Bus from
the Wrong Side . In this Accident only Driver of Tipper get injured

registered in PS SunderNagar on the complaint of Sh. Jagdish Ram S/O
Sh. Sant Ram R/O Swaraghat PO Ghangnu Tehsil Sunder Nagar Distt. Mandi
(HP) that on 10/6/12 at about 5.30 P.M. his mother Gulabi Devi burned
due to forest fire at place Swaraghat in his grass field and admitted
in ZH Mandi. The incident of fire took place due to negligence act

CASE OF OFFENCE AGAINST PUBLIC SERVANT AND ASSULT
4 Case FIR No 135/12 dated 10/6/12 U/S 353, 356, 34 IPC has been
registered in PS Sadar by HC Pawan Kumar No.919 Police Post Pandoh
that on 10/6/12 when he was on Patrolling & Traffic Checking along
with other police official and pp staff. At about 7.25 pm. when he was
present at Shiva Badar Chowk in same time motor Cycle No.
(HP33A-4436) came from Tin Piple Side with Triple Riding & without
Helmet. When he asked the name of the motor cycle rider and
documents of his Motor Cycle, he told his name Gokul Ram S/O Goverdhan
Ram, Gokul Ram. He then called a lady through telephone. At about 7.40
PM one Lady came on Spot and asked who challaned the M/Cycle of his
Son and asked police to release it. Then she caught him from throat.

people under the leadership of Paras Ram President Kissan Shabha
protesting for demand of degree collage obstructed the state high way

1. Case FIR No.55/12 dated 08/06/12 U/S 452, 323 IPC has been
registered on the complaint of Sh. Roshan Lal S/O Sh. Bhikham Singh
R/O Vill. Saloti P.O. Tehsil Padhar Distt. Mandi that on 08/06/12 at
about 2.30 AM he was sleeping in his shop (saw shop) in the mean time
his younger brother Shyam Lal entered in his room and beat him up.

2. Case FIR No. 67/12 dated 08/06/12 U/S 323, 325 IPC has been
registered in P.S. Gohar on the complaint of Sh. Tanu Kumar S/O Sh.
Dile Ram R/O Thunag Distt. Mandi that on 06/06/12 he went to the house
of his in-laws where his father-in-law Noop Singh along with Chattar

Tilaknagar New Delhi at present bus driver with bus No. (HP65-2795) of
Guru Gobind Singh Public High School Paddal Mandi (HP). Today at about
8 AM when he reached at Nine Mile along with above mentioned bus, a
car (DL-8 CW-2896) came very rashly from Mandi side, driver of the
said car stopped the car and pelted stones upon his bus along with two
other persons and broke the front glass of his bus and also dented his
bus. HC Krishan Kumar No. 900 I.O. of P.P. Pandoh is investigating the
case.

present in her courtyard, in the mean time Sarla Devi came there and
attacked upon her with sharp weapon and thereafter her husband Chander
Singh also came there and beat her up and also threatened her with
dire consequences. ASI Swaran Roop Singh is investigating the case.

363, 366, 376 IPC and he is being produced before the Ld. Court of
JMIC Sarkaghat.
